The Grove has all your shopping and food and entertainment needs all in one place! Shopping, they have Best Buy, TJ Maxx, World Market, Ulta, Dicks and the list goes on. Food, there's Cracker Barrel, Outback, Krate at the Grove which has so many varieties of food - Asian, American, Greek, desserts, etc. and entertainment there's Chuck E Cheeses for the kids and the Grove movie theater which has the latest blockbuster hits as well as Side Splitters Comedy Club that offers even kid friendly shows during the day. Great place to spend a day with the family.

We came to The Grove to see the temporary Big Top, set up for Cirque Italia, Water Circus, Silver Unit, on 1/30/22, at 1:30. Parking was $5 - cash only. Inside, refreshments, souvenirs and photos were cash only. Our friend wanted to pay for parking and treat us to drinks, but she only carries credit cards. We paid for parking, but chose not to pay for anything else. It was a good show, about 2 hours with a long intermission. Set up on stage was time consuming, to ensure safety of the performers, so actors performed in the aisles to distract us. Thus, our first row $50 seats were a disappointment. We were able to see all the performers on stage up close, but we missed the characters performing in the aisle between the up front premium seats and rear less expensive seats. We could not see the huge water tank that surrounded the small, center platform, which gave this show its water distinction. The water spots were distracting, and might have looked more entrancing from seats further away. The best part of the show was the funny pirate, who performed on stage and in the aisles. Turning in our seats to see him in the aisles was uncomfortable, but worth it when we could see what was going on. The mermaid, who opened the show, was amazing in her acrobatics. She performed several times: in the air in her tail, in roller skates with a pirate, and in bare feet. The set up of the revolving cage was interesting. It was huge, and had to be set up perfectly to avoid an accident while the man performed expertly inside and outside. Other acts included a couple swinging and swirling above us, a juggler, a hula hoop expert with one to many lighted and ordinary hoops, a man precariously balancing on several round, square and rectangular levels, a woman swinging above us, & a man defying gravity as he climbed and leaped on his pole. It was entertaining, and the acts should get at least 4 stars. The refreshments were overpriced. A bottle of water was $4 and a hot dog was $7. The toys geared for children more than adults were fascinating, but also pricey. The photos taken of attendees before the show were $12 each, if you wanted to buy one. For bathrooms, men had Port-a-Lets and Husband said they were okay. He said the women's bathrooms on a trailer looked better. This part of the experience deserves only 2 stars. If you see this show, opt for the less expensive seats. You'll see more of the action - on the stage and in the aisles. Also, be sure you eat and are hydrated before the show to avoid overpriced drinks and food. No outside food or drink is permitted inside.

She was with me for my hair appointment, so we turned the whole thing into a full blown mother daughter day, which made it special regardless of what we did or did not buy. Hyde Park Village is absolutely perfect for strolling, wandering, lingering, and people watching because if you want to observe how the well heeled set moves through life, this is your front row seat. You will see retirees with serious jewelry sitting at cafés for hours, young professionals dressed like they have brand partnerships, and valet attendants casually opening doors to cars that cost more than some people's homes. It is fascinating in the best way. As for shopping, I will say this with humor and humility, it is way outside of my budget. I can admire the displays, appreciate the tailoring, and mentally style outfits I am not purchasing, but when I look at the price tags I am reminded that I am there for the ambiance and not the transactions. That does not make the experience any less enjoyable because there is something wonderful about walking through a beautifully curated space without the pressure to buy. For me, Hyde Park Village works as a place to enjoy a gorgeous Florida day, grab a bite, observe the scene, and spend quality time with my mother, which is what truly mattered. I may not have left with shopping bags swinging from my arm, but I left with a memory of a really lovely day, and sometimes that is the better purchase anyway.

The bay, the walkways, some shopping, and a stop at Columbia Restaurant which honestly was not good. Then we went to International Plaza and Bay Street thinking we would do what we always do. Browse, hunt, and find something great on sale. That is how WE shop. We walked into Altar'd State and asked where the sale section was. We were told they do not do sales there. Not even a small rack in the back. .. thought maybe it's just that store Then we went into Dillard's and asked the same question. The woman looked us up and down like we had three heads and gave us the same answer. Finally I made the realization . . This mall is built for people who pay full price and do not question it. To be fair, it is beautiful. Clean, polished, very well put together. A strong mix of stores and a surprising number of high end brands. Completely different than what I expected and it threw me off my game. But there is no thrill here. No hunt. No digging. No moment where you find that one piece that makes the whole trip worth it. Have fun shopping at full price here. I am not one of those people. I do not pay full retail ever and I am not starting now. And I know plenty of wealthy people who can afford to pay full price and they will not do it either. They know better.

It's been a while since I've been here and they definitely have a wide variety of stores. We did stop by and see the Easter bunny. The staff was super nice. For lunch, we did stop at the food court, but I wouldn't eat there again. The food was terrible at wok o holic. There is better food outside the food court.

Keep in mind that this is an outlet store so they don't have as much inventory as the mall stores, however they do have women on one side and men on the other and you can find some great deals in here. I love the portofino shirts and can typically get them for under $20 here compared to over $40 in the mall. The staff is always super friendly and the fitting rooms are always kept clean. Store is laid out well and even the checkout process is fast despite when there are times where the line may be longer.

Now listen, when it comes to my hair, I don't just let anybody touch it. So yes, I was a little nervous. But let me tell y'all about Sully the Barber. I met her through Tampa Bay Women's Inferno, and once I actually looked into her work, I realized she is that girl. Years in the game, awards, her own haircare line--I said yeah, let's do this. I went in thinking we were just shaping up the afro, and she said "let me give you the full experience." Baby... she did not disappoint. I told her, "you got free will--just make me feel as good as I try to make everybody else feel." And when I say she delivered?? Look at these curls. Look at this shape. The V in the back?? The definition?? I'm beyond pleased. She really took her time and brought my vision to life without me even having to explain it all the way. This wasn't just a haircut. This was confidence. This was self-love. This was me stepping back into myself and feeling good doing it. Tell me I don't look good This is just how life goes.

I think it's a little bit smaller but similar layout and stores. What I didn't like the most is how dark it was. I don't think that's so safe. It was early enough to where there was at least two more hours of shopping before stores closed yet really dark. It's been about 10 years since I've been here, and it seems to look about the same as that time. They did have a Christmas tree in the center. That at least brightened the place up a bit. The stores off hand that I recall where Bath and Body, Kirkland's, a boutique with country ware, a Thai restaurant, a Vietnamese restaurant, BD's Mongolian BBQ which I was surprised to see, & a Grillsmith. They also had a movie theater and a book store. Those were some of the stores off hand. There were also a handful of empty spaces. The parking was free along the inside of the mall street parking where we parked. The Best Part Was Seeing the Bloom Mural!
