Hyde Park Village is a beautiful area in Tampa to enjoy shopping, dining or just walking around. A lot of high-end shops here. The restrooms are very well maintained. The weekends can get very busy here. It's so much more enjoyable to come during the weekday. There are paid and free parking options throughout, but you definitely have to hunt down that free parking. My family and I enjoy coming here to grab a sweet treat, walk around and hit the nearby park!

Hyde Park Village offers a variety of high-end shopping, dining, and entertainment featuring a unique mixture of local, regional, and national shops and restaurants. There's something for everyone! Our family of six visited Hyde Park Village twice during our stay in Florida. During our first visit, we walked around, grabbed lunch at Sweetgreen, then made our own candles at The Candle Pour. We had to come back and pick up our finished candles so we returned a couple of days later and shopped a little bit, too. The Village is beautiful and has lots of outdoor seating to enjoy the view and the nice weather. There's street and garage parking. We parked in garage both times with no issues. Highly recommend visiting at least once!

Hyde Park Village is a beautiful part of Tampa that is definitely one of the most upscale areas. If you aren't even a little bit dressed up you will feel out of place here. It's a lovely place to walk around, enjoy the small park if you want or take your pick of dozens of shopping choices, restaurants and a few other activities like candle or bracelet making. As mentioned, it is upscale shopping so the selections are not cheap- prepare your wallet or understand you won't buy anything. Places like Sephora, Lululemom, Anthropology, and Nike are here, to give perspective. But again, there's a lot to do and even just people watching is very entertaining. It's super dog friendly and there is usually a lot of parking though weekends it is so packed it's stressful irregardless trying to navigate in and out.

So many fun things to do, and tasty places to dine at! There's a decent plethora of entertainment, shopping, or dining for everyone. I usually hit up Ro, timpanos, meat market, or bouzy. Can't forget sprinkles for after dinner desserts! There's some cute retail spots here that I occasionally stop in. The service everywhere is usually impeccable. With all the different options, you're likely to get or find value somewhere you go!

I live down the road so I'm often here on walks and evenings out. It is beautiful and well maintained. There is a good variety of places however with time this has dwindled. In the last 2 years, almost all of the reasonably affordable establishments (goody goody, franchescas, etc) have gone and are being replaced with extremely high end clothing and boutique restaurants (100+ for 2 people). I do like the vibe however it would be nice to have a few casual places sprinkled in. Hopefully they can re-diversify in the coming years. Love the free parking

Been coming here all of my life & even though the city's population seems to have a surmountable increase, I still pop up over here, grab a bite to eat & go! Hyde Park used to be quiet w/ moderate to upscale shoppes. I would come to shop and walk- now it seems like a mini tourist attraction. The new restaurants & stores + village events have definitely made an impact on foot traffic. But it's still a good thing. I'm happy for my city. As long as I don't have to wait in long lines everywhere I go :)

If you like outdoor shopping and farmers market combined on weekends.. Then Hyde Park Village is for you! This is similar to Winter Park Village in Park Avenue. Tons of shops and restaurants. Not much good options for eats in my opinion. The stores are not that bad. Good area to people watch and stroll and on weekends they have booths for farmers market ambiance. During the holidays this place is beautiful with Christmas lights etc. Free parking inside the garage! But some slots are blocked for "residents". Elevator service or stairs offered to get down to level 1 to enter the outdoor stores. As you enter out the door is the rainbow wall for Instagram worthy selfies!

Hyde Park is always a nice place to come hang and eat. They not only have lots of shops to browse but also great eateries and coffee or tea shops. The center court area is also a great place to sit and relax. They have a beautiful water fountain that makes for some beautiful pictures. They have benches and tables available as well as free books to read should that be your interest. Some of our favorite places include -- for eateries: Bartaco, Goody Goody Burger; for desserts: Sorrento Sweets, Sprinkles cupcakes and of course gourmet popsicles from Hyppo; and shopping: Vineyard Vines, Francescas. If you're looking for some fun craft spots consider The Candle Pour (which is in my list to try) and Color Me Mine (pottery painting). Parking is available in 2 different garages or Street parking is also available.

I took a quick and cheap Lyft ride over to Hyde Park Village after reading through the reviews and choosing a place for lunch. Nestled in Hyde Park neighborhood, between the craftsman and colonial and Spanish style houses, this cute and appropriately modern shopping center was quite a delight. I was dropped off in the common square where there was a festive Christmas tree. This was a very nice area with plenty of seating. I walked around and went to several cute stores and boutiques. There are probably around 30-40 stores of all different types of merchandise. I bought some locally made hot sauce, some cute jewelry, and a little purse. I would have bought more, but I was limited because I planned on a long walk. After grabbing lunch and wandering into one more store, I took about a 30 minute walk back to downtown down Bayshore Blvd. Not bad at all with lovely views! As far as parking / ride share - I saw garage parking and street parking available. My Lyft ride from downtown was only $7. Quite a lovely change from downtown, and just a mile away!

Kinda lame. Over priced, pretentious, and cookie cutter when compared to other places to shop.

Where is the best place to park closest to all the shops?

The parking garage next to Timpano's is in the heart of Hyde Park Village. If that garage is full there is a second garage at the end of Swann Circle near Anderson Park. Both garages are free.

I come over here all the time on my nightly walk and people watch. I also have been to Splitsville a bunch for bowling and eating. The LightHaus Beer Garden is at the middle of the wharf and is a nice place to watch a game, catch a beer, and enjoy the Tampa weather. Sundays are usually the best day to come here because then you can watch the cruise boats sail away. The Tampa sign is right next to here. There's not a giant Sparkman Wharf chair that you can get your picture at. Oh, and don't sleep on JoToro. I like getting Mexican food over there and it's very cheap. Once again, another great spot to people watch.

There were quite a few food places to choose from and a nice grassy area to sit outside and eat, which gave it a relaxing atmosphere. The downside for me was that there really weren't many shops; actually I believe I only saw one shop and it was for dogs. I think it would be much better if they added more shops and a souvenir shop would be awesome so visitors and cruise travelers could pick up some unique treasures while they're there. Overall, it's a decent spot to grab a bite and relax for a little while, but I was hoping for a bit more shopping and entertainment.

The bay, the walkways, some shopping, and a stop at Columbia Restaurant which honestly was not good. Then we went to International Plaza and Bay Street thinking we would do what we always do. Browse, hunt, and find something great on sale. That is how WE shop. We walked into Altar'd State and asked where the sale section was. We were told they do not do sales there. Not even a small rack in the back. .. thought maybe it's just that store Then we went into Dillard's and asked the same question. The woman looked us up and down like we had three heads and gave us the same answer. Finally I made the realization . . This mall is built for people who pay full price and do not question it. To be fair, it is beautiful. Clean, polished, very well put together. A strong mix of stores and a surprising number of high end brands. Completely different than what I expected and it threw me off my game. But there is no thrill here. No hunt. No digging. No moment where you find that one piece that makes the whole trip worth it. Have fun shopping at full price here. I am not one of those people. I do not pay full retail ever and I am not starting now. And I know plenty of wealthy people who can afford to pay full price and they will not do it either. They know better.

This little spit of land, right at the "bend" in the Veterans Expressway as it winds around Tampa International Airport, and also heading out along the Courtney Campbell Causeway, is an environmentally protected site containing just shy of 40 acres - much of it protected wetlands with panoramic views of the upper end of the Bay. Bayport Plaza is accessible via a dedicated entrance / exit road off of the Courtney Campbell Causeway. This private boulevard runs along the edge of the Bay, and it is lined with mature Queen Anne palm trees that lead to a brick-paver entrance plaza. The plaza features a series of attractive fountains and lush tropical gardens that wind around to the garage area, and provide separate and distinct access to Bayport Plaza and the Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay. The Plaza has several notable tenants including well-known companies in the financial services and high-tech industries.
