The "We Don't Do Sales" Mall…read more Yesterday was Mother Daughter Day and after not seeing my mother for over 30 days I wanted to give her a proper Tampa day. The bay, the walkways, some shopping, and a stop at Columbia Restaurant which honestly was not good. Then we went to International Plaza and Bay Street thinking we would do what we always do. Browse, hunt, and find something great on sale. That is how WE shop. We walked into Altar'd State and asked where the sale section was. We were told they do not do sales there. Not even a small rack in the back. .. thought maybe it's just that store Then we went into Dillard's and asked the same question. The woman looked us up and down like we had three heads and gave us the same answer. Finally I made the realization . . This mall is built for people who pay full price and do not question it. To be fair, it is beautiful. Clean, polished, very well put together. A strong mix of stores and a surprising number of high end brands. Completely different than what I expected and it threw me off my game. But there is no thrill here. No hunt. No digging. No moment where you find that one piece that makes the whole trip worth it. Have fun shopping at full price here. I am not one of those people. I do not pay full retail ever and I am not starting now. And I know plenty of wealthy people who can afford to pay full price and they will not do it either. They know better.

It's been a while since I've been here and they definitely have a wide variety of stores. We did stop by and see the Easter bunny. The staff was super nice. They were doing a little dances and keeping the kids entertained. Also, we did find the coffee shop called E bar near Nordstrom. Which was pretty good actually. For lunch, we did stop at the food court, but I wouldn't eat there again. The food was terrible at wok o holic. There is better food outside the food court.

We were first greeted by the kindness of her staff-warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming from the moment we walked in. And then owner Carmen Barkett came to greet us in the gallery, and the space shifted in the most beautiful way. Carmen is deeply in tune with her passion and her joy, and just as intentional about making sure people feel truly good in her presence. She spent time with us walking through the gallery, sharing unique and wonderful stories about the art the artists and her journey-how she procured both buildings, stepped away for ten years, and found her way back to reopen ArtsiPhartsi. It was inspiring in a quiet, meaningful way. This past year has been challenging for me, and I didn't realize how much I needed to be in the presence of someone like Carmen until I was. After the gallery, we sat together in her whimsical garden and simply talked. No agenda. Just conversation, connection, and a sense of calm I didn't know I was missing. ArtsiPhartsi is not just an art gallery or a gift shop--it's something far more special- a true destination a respite from the crazy world around us. The art is beautiful, the gifts are wonderful, but the greatest gift of all was the cherished time spent with Carmen. She is authentic, beautiful, warm, loving, inspirational, and truly one of a kind. If you're in Tampa, you MUST visit this very special place! Don't let it slip by- you will thank me and Carmen!

There were the threaded canvases, (much like paintings) sculptures, ceramics, stained glass, holiday cards, Christmas ornaments, decorative book shelf memorabilia, furniture, jewelry & a host of other rare finds from artists across the globe. What's great about this boutique is that you can find that eccentric item to purchase or schedule an appointment to present your artifice for discussion of selling. Pay them a visit & I'm sure you'll leave with more than a few items curated just for you. **High, moderate to low end Hours: Monday-Saturday 10am-6pm

Tervis tumblers come in all sizes and I have one of each. This brand has been around for years now…read more You can find your favorite teams and characters plus lots of other designs. You may want to personalize your own tumbler. I've had excellent customer service when I call the Customer Service toll free number. They haven't hesitated to replace my defective lids in the past. I recommend you activate your product warranty when you buy a tumbler. I'll be contacting them soon to activate mine. I'm obsessed with making tea and keeping a week supply of tumblers in my refrigerator during warm weather. I just bought two more tumblers. I found one of the traditional tumblers online at NHL Shop. While I was at it I bought one of the new versions. Thank goodness they provide a video on the website because the new tumblers have a lot of features. I don't use a straw so I was glad I could convert it to a chugging bottle! I'm recommending Tervis for cold drinks. I know they can be used for hot drinks but I prefer stainless steel for those. I definitely recommend you visit the nearest store when you are in Florida. Thanks to my Yelp Friend Stacy I found this location! Living and visiting Florida like I do I never miss an opportunity to check out Tervis.

As such, I decided to pop into this location while in the mall. The associate greeted us and offered help if we needed it. We looked around and enjoyed many of the tumblers on offer. I didn't end up leaving with anything, but they did have some good sales on 'out of season' items and retiring items as well. Overall: A It's a solid brand with well made tumblers that stand the test of time. Go 'green' and ditch the plastic. ;)
