Beautiful pieces at reasonable prices…read more This is not a Goodwill, so don't expect the pieces to be cheap. What's funny is we were just at Goodwill so I saw a glass jar that was similar to one I found at Goodwill, it was $8 at Goodwill and $34 there. However, that was the only piece I found at Goodwill, whereas here there were so many beautiful pieces. You really can't compare the two, so I'll stop here, but I just wanted to make that clear. I've been into helping the environment recently, so I want to buy secondhand pieces when I can. We were looking for a vase. I ended up finding a gorgeous shell shaped vase. They actually had two, but one had a crack on one side, which is why it was discounted by $50. I decided to go for the non cracked one, which was $140. I think this is reasonable for the quality and it's a statement piece. I saw tons of other items that I loved. There was a standing desk for around $350 and a lot of benches and tables all in the couple of hundred dollar range. Again, not cheap, but definitely less expensive than they probably were when they were new. The guy working there was really nice and helpful. Parking was easy on both sides of the building. They pack this place full of such beautiful finds. I will definitely be back.

Homegoods is such a unique spot. I especially love how many of the items have a worldly influence…read more You can find pieces that feel unique and not just mass-produced. On my last visit, I found an extra-large bar shaker, which was such a win. It's perfect for making cocktails for a group instead of having to mix multiple rounds. Little finds like that are why I keep coming back!

Do not trust the associates when you put an item on hold, they will sell it unapologetically…read more I placed 2 ottomans on hold with an employee that were at the very front of the store. It was a great find, and I knew it would get picked up immediately, so I wanted to make sure that they held them for me while I shopped around as they were too big to fit in a cart. I urged the associate to do more than just place a sticky note on it that says "CSS" (customer still shopping) and at minimum take my name if she's unwilling to place behind the 2 ottomans behind the counter like I had requested. She assured me not to worry, and that both will be available to purchase when I go to checkout. Well guess what?! They ended up selling both of the ottomans I had put on hold while I was shopping! The associate didn't even apologize and the manager wasn't willing to lift a finger to make it better. I was so upset I ended up cancelling my transaction for the other items I had shopped for and left. Do NOT trust these associates to actually hold your items, even when you urge them to take more info/action. The least that should've been done was offering a discount on the other products I was planning to purchase (I even asked the manager, and she said "no" and was equally as unapologetic as the associate who was supposed to hold my items). Purely infuriating & dissappointing, will be avoiding returning to this store at all costs.

Rustic Blueprint - This is me proving that I was part of the door install

The owner James, agreed to pay me $75 an hour to install one of his over priced barn doors…read more He said it would only take three or four hours, it took 11 hours and though I recommended adding a header because there were no studs he hung a heavy barn door, bolted four times into drywall, and only three times into header studs. He then only paid me for three hours of work. I was outraged by this and he said the agreement was for three hours and I said well it wasn't three hours it was 11 hours. This piece of garbage doesn't pay what he owes. He agreed on text message later that he owed me an additional $520 but tells me that I have to take him to court because I hurt his feelings. I have it on record that he acknowledges that he owes me the full amount and this jerk has the audacity to tell me he's going to wait to pay me for it to process through court. Do not do business with this man. He doesn't install the work the correct way and he cuts corners. And then he wanted to demand my insurance and say that I am 100% responsible for the door install when I told him the correct way to do it, and all he did was dictate how he wanted it done and get in the way and slow down the door install process , he doesn't know how to use a tape measure and he measured it incorrectly so many times I had to redo everything he was trying to do. It would've taken half the time had I done this by myself, including opening up the drywall and adding additional studs for the barn door to mount to. This guy does terrible work and then he is a hostile liar. Manipulator. Trying to pay me $50 an hour instead of 75, and then coming up with nonsense babble about wanting to meet me in person just to waste my time and try to pay me less than what he owes.

ER visit - cast - from poor quality designed furniture…read more Loved the look of my tables from here, however had some staff that built the benches that were very top heavy. They had put layers of the felt pads under the legs on the benches which also didn't help the bench issue? They bandaided that problem (I never knew about the layers of felt until after ER visit). My daughter was on the bench that tipped and smashed her toe, resulting in an ER visit and cast for weeks. Please note, I was sitting right next to my child in a chair at the moment this happened. (She is not a wild unsupervised child.) The owner took back our benches and gave us back some money. Also quality issues for the actual table. The table also had issues with falling apart and had to go back in to be reworked. I found an amazing craftsmen with great customer service from Pinellas to work for me now, he meets at my house and will deliver for free. He does all of the work himself and truly cares about his high quality end product. Sadly, I wouldn't recommend this place. From the first impression to the last impression, it's all about great customer service and they could have taken the table back with the benches after the way we were treated at the end. Too small of a town to be treated poorly.

I confirmed several times not only were they *positive* the fans were for outdoor use, but that they were for a salt air environment. Sure sure, that's exactly what they're for, the fans are made from a corrosion-resistant alloy, you have nothing to worry about. You'll be able to see from my pictures that the fans are clearly not meant for a salt air environment, because they look like complete garbage after only two years. The store tells me hey take it up with the manufacturer. The manufacturer, Minka Aire, is unreachable, so even if their warranty did apply, there's no way to contact them in a manner that elicits a response. Great, clearly bad advice from someone who didn't research it, and they sell product from vendors who are non-responsive to warranty requests; i.e., useless. Last but not least, Lightstyle's installers used steel wood screws to install my fans in the ceiling cups; not machine screws to match the threaded holes in the cups. I guess that was all their installer had that day, so what the heck, we'll go with that. The end result is the steel screws on the outdoor fans began to rust, and I discovered this issue when one fell off the ceiling because the screws had rusted through. It also means all the threads are destroyed, so I can't go back and put the proper screws in. So, my experience with Lightstyle has left me needing to replace $2500 in junk outdoor fans after only a couple years. Obviously will not be going back.
