We sat inside--it was very festive--and they also had a cute outdoor patio. We go out a lot as a large group, and sometimes things are not so smooth, but El Gallo and the staff really delivered. Would definitely recommend this restaurant if you're in Rancho Murieta and in the mood for great Mexican food.

Boo, found out they are MAGA. What an odd regime to support when you have a mexican spot inside your store. The mexican food is pretty okay but has declined over the years. Wish this place did not support the pillaging of America and parade it around like they are a weird destructive hive mind. My mom did as she was told and stepped aside, and the clerk helped two other customers. When my boyfriend and I came up to the counter behind those customers, my mom asked if she could place the order now since she had already stepped aside and waited. The clerk responded, "I need to take their money first." We explained that we were with her and that she had already waited while those customers were helped. Instead of helping us next, the clerk then said she needed to help everyone else behind us before helping us, which made absolutely no sense. The line could have continued growing and we would never actually be helped. When we asked to speak to a manager, we were told to step aside again and wait another 10 minutes. The way we were spoken to was extremely disrespectful, especially toward my mom. We came ready to place a large catering order and were prepared to spend hundreds of dollars for our son's first birthday. Unfortunately, we never even got the chance because the staff refused to take our order. If this is how customers are treated, I can't recommend this place. I will definitely be sharing this experience with others and telling them not to come here.
