Some even have UPHOLSTERED chairs and (gasp) sofa and/or love seats. Additionally, I've never seen a real coffee shop with the primary seating in a garage door equipped patio.

I had a very good breakfast burrito with a side of loaded latkes. The Latkes were a nice surplice but tasked more like deep fired postal skins than traditional latkes but they were still tasty. Everything was very clean and bright and another feature which is typical of many local trendy spots I lot so of local art for sale. but here is the twist, its free to dispaly art and the artist gets 100% of the sale, no sharing a cut with the restaurant! My sister and I came in to eat and get coffee before visiting our mother (on hospice). The breakfast burrito was gross and zero bacon that we ordered. When I took it back to the counter, it took several minutes before anyone recognized I was even there. They were busy in the back, rehashing their weekend events. Then the young lady wanted to argue about the bacon. We ordered it, "Why do you want to question what I said we ordered, when my sister and I were both standing here?" Does it matter? We want bacon. Then, they brought us 4 strips of solidly BURNT bacon! I had enough and took it back. The first young lady pushed the plates back at me and said, "There's your bacon!" And walked behind the wall to chat with her friends. Now pissed, I yelled, "Hello!" A young man came around with a deer-in-the-headlights look. I told him, "You all are not paying attention to your guests. The burritos are wrong. The bacon is burnt. You can just keep it." No apologies. No offer to refund the $6.50 plus taxed burrito.
