This may be the best my hands have ever looked/felt! 10 stars! -- UPDATE: was able to get through via phone! Excited to try this place out, hoping to report 5 star experience shortly! -- I made an appointment last night, can't find confirmation of appointment time. Logged back into the site - no appointments showing. I called them to try to see what's going on, no answer. Left a voicemail about an hour ago trying to figure out my appointment time and if I was even actually on the books. No call back. Tried to book it again, and the site was being glitchy. Tried to close out and book from the very beginning, and I get an error message that I've exceeded the maximum number of requests to try again in 12 hrs. About to call one more time, but I'm betting I'm not going to get through. I was really looking forward to trying this place :(

The salon focuses on cleanliness and customer satisfaction. I appreciate it that they have washed my hands when I arrive. They also showed off the room where they sanitize all the equipment. You get to choose your scrub and lotion sent as well as your color. I was going to get the spa manicure but they were running late so I just got the basic one. The technician did a wonderful job on my nails. She made sure I was happy with the color before she painted them. She created a custom color based on what I was looking for. I would definitely come back the next time I need my nails done.

It's certainly not California quality but the manicure's finished product was decent. The nail technician and the procedure she followed leaves much to be desired. Gel selection is decent, but not a lot of glitter gel colors available. They used an acetone soak, not wraps to get my old gel manicure off so my fingers were (and still feel) really dry. The nail technician working on my nails did not understand what rounded nails meant. I had to go back and re-shape my nails. She also did not buff properly and left many rough spots so I had to go back and redo all that myself too. Thank god I don't live here, I would go crazy if this was a regular occurrence. Also it is SO EXPENSIVE. $36 for a gel manicure are you kidding me? It's $20 at my local salon. Sigh. Beggars can't be choosers I guess.

I'm writing this review because I believe customers deserve to know what happened during my visit…read moreto this nail shop. I am a Black woman, and unfortunately, I left feeling that I was treated differently because of my race. I received the exact same service as a white woman who was there, yet she was charged $10 while I was charged $15. When I questioned the price, I was told that was my price. The owner, Julie, was the person who gave me that price. On top of that, I waited over 40 minutes just to get a soak-off. While I was finally receiving service, the nail technician was working between me and another customer. What concerned me was that she did not change her gloves between clients and continued going back and forth from one customer to another. That was extremely uncomfortable and raised serious concerns about sanitation and proper hygiene. Then things became even more frustrating when I went to pay. I noticed that there was no service fee if you paid with cash, so I said I would simply go to my car and get cash. I was told I could not do that and was pressured to pay by card. At that point, after already feeling that I had been overcharged compared with a white customer receiving the same service, I refused to pay an additional fee. Instead, I sent the payment through Zelle. I am not someone who throws around the word "racist" lightly. But when two customers receive the same service and are charged different prices, and the customer being charged more is Black, it is extremely difficult not to question whether race played a role. Ladies, especially my Black sisters, please be aware of this experience. I personally will not be returning, and I do not feel comfortable supporting a business where I felt I was treated unfairly and differently because of the color of my skin. There are plenty of businesses that value and respect ALL of their customers. I encourage everyone to spend their money somewhere they feel welcomed, respected, and treated fairly. JULIE, YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED. As the owner, you set the tone for your business. If this is how you choose to treat Black customers, then you don't deserve our money. I came in expecting a basic nail service and left feeling disrespected, singled out, and deeply disappointed. I will be taking my business elsewhere!!

I came in for a removal of polish on my fingernails…read more The last time I came in I asked for polish that would last for 4 weeks. The manicurist suggested the powder dip procedure. They put on 4 layers of polish and that stayed on just as promised. Today I decided I wouldn't be able to get this much polish off my nails myself so I came back to have the polish removed. Manicurist was very patient and kind as it took a bit of time to sand and soak my fingernails. He offered me a drink of soda or wine when I asked. Note, they don't serve coffee here which was something I was hoping for. Oh well, I settled for a coke. The people here are so friendly, polite and helpful and the setting is very quiet with some peaceful background music. Its a perfect way to relax. Prices are reasonable and in line with the competition and sometimes cheaper as well. They also have a point system. For every hundred points you receive $5 off your next purchase. Today I spent $10 for color removal and cut. Not bad considering. The shop is in a frequently visited location off Countryclub and Peace haven called Club Haven shops. Plenty of places to check out here after or before your nail appt. This remains my go to nail salon and they always take walk ins.

I tried everything I could to resolve the issue, because I prefer to leave positive or helpful words when I can here. But bad service is bad service. When I come here, I go in and allow whoever is free to do my nails because I usually have a great experience regardless. But twice now, I have been given to someone who isn't ready to be doing nails. The first time I was serviced, months ago, all of my nails hurt SO badly for 3-4 days. He drilled over my skin continuously. But when I went in yesterday, I decided to give him a second shot. I regret that so much. All of my fingers were cut and bleeding. I told him he was hurting me and he said it's just hot. And kept on drilling. I started to dissociate at that point. They hurt so bad. The acrylic set (brand new) that he applied was so badly done. I thought I might be over reacting so I asked some others and they all agreed that the nails were absolutely terrible and I should go get them fixed. I'm not one for confrontation, but they hurt so bad and we're too thick to use for anything. As you can see in photos. I am always patient and forgiving and leave good tips, so I expected the shop to hear my complaint and help me out. They said on the phone when my friend called for me, that they'd make it right if I came in in person to discuss it. So I did. I drove the 28 minutes to get there, they said they were too busy to help me, and said they'd issue a full refund but they had to call the card merchant first. I said ok, left my info, and went on. They did not offer to fix, replace, or give me any tips for healing my nails and skin. They called me later to tell me that their boss told them not to refund me, that they'd give me half off, and tried to convince me that I had an acrylic allergy and wasn't cut. They said "we are poor so no refund." And "it happens so oh well" I get it. Business is hard. But as a loyal long time customer, I just wanted to be treated kindly. When I went to another stylist in a different shop she was appalled at the state of my nails and skin. She kept apologizing that this happened to me, and noted how badly cut my skin was over and over. She could not fix the nails they were so badly done, had to remove them all, before she could treat the skin underneath and apply a new set. I am so so exhausted after all of this. I wish I had better things to say. I tried to resolve via email first and never got a response. If you go here, make an apt with one of the experienced stylists. Or you know, just don't.
