Experienced. Professional. Kind and Reasonable. You can't ask for more. While recently out of town on a job, my Blackmagic Ursa Mini Pro 4.6K G2 fell from its tripod--a true nightmare scenario. While the camera turned on after the tumble, a small panel connecting the LCD to the camera body protruded out, making it impossible to close the screen. I was also unsure if there were any larger problems with the camera. The next morning, I called Ohannes at Digitech and explained my situation. When I told him I was out of town, he very kindly agreed to take a look at a few pictures of the problem via email. He quickly replied with a comforting message, let me know the plate was just out of position, not damaged and quoted a reasonable price for the repair. When I got back into town, I dropped off the camera and had a wonderful experience speaking to Ohannes in person. A few days later, I booked a job last minute. Panicked, I emailed to ask if there would be any way to pick up the camera early. Ohannes didn't hesitate and had it ready for me the next day. I had fungus infection inside of a lens. I took it in for John to inspect the lens. He didn't want to overpromise but said he would look at it and let me know. After 4 days, he gave me a call and told me it was ready. I was pretty excited and went to pick it up. The lens looks as good as new and all the fungi were removed and glasses inside all cleaned. The lens works even better than before. He told me that he called the Canon support as he think he may need to replace some glasses inside but after finding out the price he decided to try again and was able to remove all the infestations off the glasses. I did not have that much hope the lens could be saved into such a spectacular condition; I was really happy with the results. From the examination of the lens I can really tell that John had spend a lot of time cleaning the lens meticulously and took such a care on it as if it is his own. You can tell that he is really passionate about what he does and about photography. And to top it off, the price of the cleaning service is very reasonable- much better than what Canon would have charge for the same service. again, the lens that I got back looks like new, and you couldn't tell that it had been taken apart for cleaning. I would definitely recommend this store for any future repairs, cleaning, or buying cameras or lenses- the store also carries a selection of used lenses at really good price. If I can give this place 10 stars I would! During a wedding, my Nikon D750 camera dropped from the fastener that connects to the strap (it was a BlackRapid strap) and it landed on the wheel where you change the mode. It was still working, but the wheel was loose and I used blue tape to hold it in place. I live in Vegas, and there is only one place for repairs, but they don't do in-house repairs and they end up shipping it to the manufacturer. I could have easily shipped it to Nikon myself, so I had to look in the LA area for places that does repairs in-house, since I was going to be in the area anyway. I saw John's shop and when I called, I was impressed he was able to give me a quote over the phone based on my description. When I arrived at his store, I was expecting for him to raise his quote after he examined my camera, but he didn't. It remained the same. It took him a little over a week to fix my camera. Since I had no time to visit Pasadena, I had him ship my camera to Vegas. It only took 2 days. I just received my camera as we speak and I'm very pleased with the results. It looks almost as brand new. I will not hesitate to visit John again for any repairs. It is worth the drive from Vegas to Pasadena. read more

I had a dust speck inside my Nikon D3400 and could not figure out how to get in and clean it out. Blowing air into the camera around the side of the mirror did not work. I took it in the shop, and the man who assisted me was so helpful and knowledgeable about cameras.
