Fromex One Hour Photo Systems - Great service!!! - Photography Stores & Services Near Me - San Gabriel, California

Great passport photo experience! $20 for 4 prints, $5 more for digital. I walked in with no appointments, got to the photoshoot in the back right away, and waited about 15 minutes after my session. 3 shots were taken and I was able to choose which options I'd prefer. It's definitely better than one risky shot that you couldn't see until you paid for it. read more

The service and quality of the scans are everything that anyone could want from a film lab. I was recommended to drop my rolls of film by one of my good friends and I seriously couldn't appreciate that recommendation any more. Bonus detail of this place is that they develop 127 film, which is rare! They won't scan, but if you can figure out how to scan, then you're all set. Easily my new favorite place to drop off film. read more

Fromex is a gem! I do not know of many places that still develop film and I am glad they are local. I shoot with a Cannon AE1 Program here and there and develop about a roll per month. The pricing is great, though I don't know who to compare it to. They also offer a Digital scan. Developing and printing two rolls with a scanned file was only 50 something dollars. Scans are emailed to you within a few days and you can pick up the prints in less than a week. Great service and quality work. read more

While I want to gatekeep, this San Gabriel spot is my absolute favorite for their prices, turn around time and general quality. For my disposable camera images, it was $10 per film roll and the turnaround time was 1 day. The quality came out perfect and they offer digital and physical print options. The staff and level of service is phenomenal. Highly recommend if you're looking to support local and get amazing photos. read more

Easy, quick, inexpensive! $10 for digital link to develop my disposable camera and they did it within 1 business day!

This place is a gem- everyone is so friendly, the turnaround time is very quick, and the price per film roll (for color, $10 per roll) is very affordable. read more

Fast and friendly service. Passport photos were done in about ten minutes. Found a new spot for my photo needs.

Fromex has been my go-to place for film developing and scanning for over 10 years. I've been coming here for so long that the owners know me on a first-name basis. Throughout the years, they have always been consistent, professional, and genuinely caring toward their customers. On the rare occasion that a roll comes out blank, they've either refunded me or processed another roll at no charge, which shows how much they stand behind their work and customer service. They also offer passport photos and scanning services, and I've never had any issues with any of their work. The owners have always taken great care when handling my film and scans, and the quality has consistently been excellent. I love supporting small businesses like this, especially when they're run by people who truly care about their customers. I highly recommend Fromex to anyone looking for reliable film developing, scanning, or passport photo services. read more

I had 3 pre edited pictures on my iPhone that I wanted to get printed. When I walked in, I was greeted by their friendly staff and they had me email the pictures to their store email address and they then confirmed sizing. The pictures were ready in less than an hour and the prints were high quality on Fuji paper for a 11 by 14, 8 by 10 and 4 by 6. They showed the finished product when it was done. Overall, excellent experience, fair prices, and I'll definitely be back in the near future. read more

This place is awesome! I thought i messed up my camera by manually rewinding it (i forgot to press the button) and they checked it for me in the dark room and basically fixed my camera! The guy was super nice and showed me how to use my camera basically since this is my first time owning a 35mm film camera. The digital copies were sent to my email before the day ended and it was $10! They are very efficient and so kind! read more

Proprietors Chong and Mike are experts in the one-hour photo finishing business. Both brothers are equally friendly and professional, not to mention the quality of their film scans and prints they furnish with their Noritsu processors on a fast turn around. I highly recommend Fromex. read more

Fast service! I drop off my disposable cameras and they're usually ready within 2 business days which I really appreciate. You have the option of coming back to pick up the film, if not as long as you open the email within 2 weeks and download your photos, you're good to go! It is $10 per disposable, but given the quality of my pictures, I do think it's well worth the price. The parking in this plaza is terrible so I suggest coming during an off time or having someone drive so you can just drop it off really quickly and not worry about parking. read more

The best lab around SGV, affordable prices, quick turn around very friendly. Nothing else beats it! They also carry a good selection of film. My go to spot for developing film. read more

Came here to get some passport photos done. They will take photos for you according to what is needed, and are quick and friendly. I actually lost the email where they sent digital copies, but they were able to figure out which picture was mine even after 5 months, and were really helpful in getting me additional photos that I needed. This is going to be my to-go photo place in the future. read more

This is favorite photo shop to get my 35mm film developed as a photographer. Although the turnaround time has been pushed to about 3 days from the drop off date, I don't mind because they've kept the prices to $10/roll and digital scans sent via email (for no additional cost unlike most shops) for the past handful of years I've been coming here. The older woman with short gray hair has helped me at the counter the most over the past few months and I always leave with my smile on my face. She's so sweet and personable and I always love getting helped by her when I'm picking up negatives or dropping off. I really appreciate her and the energy she exudes. So grateful for a consistent and wonderful shop in the SGV!! read more

Fromex One Hour Photo Systems - Temporary hours during covid-19 as of 7/28/20 - Photography Stores & Services Near Me - San Gabriel, California

This is our first time taking passport photos at Fromex. It's in a plaza on Valley and San Gabriel Blvd (same plaza as Popeyes). We want to get better quality passport pics rather than taking them at CVS and we found this place on Yelp when we were in the area. We got there when they just opened at about 10 am on Sunday. It costs $18 for a set of 2 passport pics and our whole family's passports are almost expired so we all took pics. There's a photo shoot area at the back of the store. Her husband was the photographer and was patient to take photos for us. He also asked us if we were satisfied and showed us the photos. We waited about 15 minutes to receive all our passport photos (4 sets= 8 pics) for $72 and took us only 30 minutes in the store. We like our passport photos and it was worth spending $72. read more

Great service, fast turnaround time, and an unbeatable price of $10/roll for film development with digitals. I got my film from my Japan trip developed here and the digitals came out amazing. They were sent over by email, easy to download and in very high quality. So happy to have my special memories commemorated like this. Definitely coming back again soon! read more

Took my headshot here for visa application. As usual, they'd take a few pictures for you and you select the one you want, then they'll give you a printed copy + electronics copy. So. The printed copy they gave me was a different version with the electronics copy. Trying to use this for visa, of course I'd want them to be the same version. Went back to the place, asked them to print the right one for me. The asshole old dude in there gave me a really bad attitude and tried to charge $3 for it, even though it was clearly their mistake, no matter how I explained it. Reporting this bs to BBB. read more

Super fast and personable staff. AAPI owned and operated. I went in for passport photos, they told me it would take an hour, they had it done in under 30 minutes. Would recommend and would go again. read more

the only place i come to develop my film -- insert your film rolls into an envelope, write your name, email, and phone number, and pay at the end. it usually only takes about 2-5 days depending on how many you're developing! they'll send an email with a wetransfer link that expires in about a few weeks. i also purchase new rolls (the 3 pack one: 36 in total) here. i calculated and it's roughly $2 per photo -- a bit $ but all my memories are worth it! very nice staff; always quick and affordable services :) read more

Called 3 times around 5:40pm, and wanted to make sure they were not closed.. but no one picked up the phone. Paid $20 for 2 passport photos (later I found out UPS and libraries are $15) for my daughter, then were not accepted and had to retake when applied for the passport. read more

I have gotten 35mm film developed here twice! Service has been great, and they send the digitals to your email which is nice. I have not yet gotten physical prints so I cannot speak to that. My only issue is that they do not answer the phone, I have called several times on different days. It seems you just have to go in person for any questions. read more

Support your local camera and film businesses! I used to go to Walgreens to develop film, and the returned film was always super dark / blurry. I thought there was something wrong with the film, but it ended up being where I got it developed that was the problem. SOLID choice for anyone looking for international passport photos. They know exactly the specifications and requirements needed. They even have a wardrobe of jackets and shirts to put on if you're not wearing the correct color or neckline of clothing. Post office & pharmacy photo are only good for US passport photos.
