At first I was a bit concerned when I pulled up to the property in a residential neighborhood. There was no sign (city only allows signage in areas zoned commercial) and I was worried I was at the wrong location. I rang the doorbell and the proprietor, Jim, quickly answered. With a smile he ushered me in to his spacious living room and assured me he could fix my shattered phone. As I luxuriated on his comfortable couch he set to work with his tools in earnest. He showed me how he only used Original Equipment Manufacturers parts-- not the cheap Chinese knock offs all the other repair shops in 29 palms use. OEM parts are more responsive and last much longer. There was no wait, and within 30 minutes on a Saturday on a holiday weekend no less, my screen was as good as new. He then showed me how the metal in my phone had warped over time. He pulled out a few more tools and five minutes later he fixed that at no additional cost. He then fully tested my device and handed it back while he mentioned he warranties his work for LIFE! Great service, fast and knowledgeable dude, I went in to figure why my iPhone 6 battery was draining from 100% to empty in less than 30min after another phone repair shop changed my broken screen. Turned out the other store did a bad repair and hit some motherboard inside. James at paragon advised me to get one of his used iPhone 6S for the price of repair my old one. I wasn't ready to upgrade to a fancier gigantic brick so I basically have the same phone but higher storage capacity and faster response. Turned out the one he sold me had a bad battery in (ironically), and he did the swap for a brand new one totally free of charge! if you guys think you need to get down to PS to get phone repaired no need, this shop here is legit. As a Marine stationed here in Twentynine Palms, it's difficult to always find a quick solution to a problem when resources are limited. I can confidently say that is not the case when it comes to your cracked phone screen. Within a 12 hour period i was able to contact James at Paragon, get a quote and get my iPhone 8 LED and screen replaced for only $130. Not only was the customer service quick and informative, but JAMES WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND. He personally drove himself to the base gate to pick my phone up and deliver it back to me within the hour (he even threw in a loaner phone while mine was being fixed) Trust me guys, don't think you have to drive to yucca or Palm Springs to find a repair shop. I've cracked the front screen of my iPhone about 4-5 times and this by far was the easiest and finest fix of them all. Was looking for someone to fix my daughters I phone 6 screen (it was cracked, color was off and the led had leaked into the screen causing a black blob).
