I booked with Penske because not only does their website say that a truck is guaranteed, but my confirmation email and a representative I spoke to with via messenger on their website confirmed I'd get a truck. I get a call today from a Penske representative saying that there is no truck available for me after all and "sorry for the inconvenience." We hired movers to help us load on 09/23, movers from Prescott Valley to help us unload on 9/24, plus we have to be out of our current house and my husband starts his new job Monday. We were relying on this truck. It is more than an "inconvenience!" She also said that if it was corporate I spoke with via messenger, that they did say yes to me because they say yes to everybody. So unprofessional!! Luckily Uhaul came through and is $1000 less!

I needed a lift gate to tackle a stacked washer and dryer that weighed over 1000 lbs it worked great. The price was reasonable and even though I was a day behind I was not charged an extra day. I realize everyone's go to is U-Haul but if you want the upgrade where the steering wheel doesn't shimmy and shake and the seats don't feel like your sitting on a bail of hay then Penske is your upgrade. There trucks are just newer better and provide a comfortable ride after moving 8-10 hours it's a comfort you feel and will appreciate on the way to unload the truck lol. Customer service is prompt and will answer usually on the first ring. So call them you won't regret it.
