If you are looking for efficient and affordable computer services from an individual with a high level of integrity and work ethic; look no further my friend! Digital Dummies is where it is at! Damon repaired my Toshiba laptop that had been hiding in a closet for 2 years. It had water damage, a smashed motherboard, and the area where the ac adapter plugs in was broken. He fixed all of these issues in no time at all. Although I brought the laptop in to simply repair the ac plug, Damon discovered the other issues and repaired them at no extra charge! The only difference to my bill was the cost of the new mother board, which he found at a good price online. Damon even showed me where he purchased it, to verify that he did not charge me more than the cost of the motherboard. Thank you Damon! Damon is truly the guy to go to! I came from Port Hueneme today after seeing all the great reviews to see what we can do about my overheating laptop. Before even turning it on he used some dust off and it seems as though the problem is solved . However I knew the dust off needed to be done, but I was more concerned with the recall from Sony in 2011 on over 100 models of there Vaio's. He sat with me and ran some youtube and other applications I usually ran and could not get it to overheat or get loud! We did this for 20 minutes until I gave up on trying to make the fan roar for him. However even though it seemed fixed, he told me the next steps and parts we'll have to get if it continues. If this thing just really needed some TLC and dust off I'm going to be kicking myself in the butt! Damon didn't charge me for anything, and I am more than happy. If the fan doesn't act up and get loud again I'll definitely be going back to him to help me install some new RAM. Thanks Damon! read more

Amazing Service!! My computer wouldn't turn on, and, of course I was a bit panicked. When I called Digital Dummy's, Damon answered the phone and invited me into the shop so that he could look at it while I waited. A BIG PLUS for me was that I wouldn't have to leave it there for any period of time!! First off let me say that I have never posted a review for anything or anyone before. My visit to Digital Dummys inspired me to break my years long silence and post a review for service far above and beyond anything I have ever had in any category (computer, car, you name it). I requested a quote on yelp and he replied within 15 minutes. The final total for repair was 1/2 the price of his original quote (when does that ever happen?). Not only did Damon fix my problem he cleaned the junk out of my startup and turned me on to some great utilities including a much better anti-virus than I was using. I feel sorry for his competitors because Damon has set the bar for competent and quality service extremely high. I just wish he did auto repair as well. read more

I was fortunate to find these guys. Had no idea of my problem - they found it was bad mother board and offered multiple solutions explaining everything. They ordered and installed new one (they even spent time to search for one to help save me money!), transferred files and put in new operating system. THEN, they spent more than 2 hours explaining the changes to this computer rock with the continued offer to help with guidance as more questions arise. All for the "flat rate". Dan and Damon both know what they're doing, very honest, reasonably priced, and extremely nice. I took my computer in for some performance issues. Damon was the one who helped me out. He very helpful, friendly, and professional. He explained why I was having the problem, offered a solution to fix the problem, and explained how he was going to fix the problem. It was great knowing the "why" behind everything he was doing and saying. Unlike Best Buy's Geek squad, who just charge you X amount of money and take your computer away without your knowing what they are going to do, these guys explain everything you need to know before even touching your computer. Dropped my laptop computer on the plugged in power adapter which broke the DC jack. I needed the computer back quickly, as I teach online classes from home. Damon was able to give me a quick fix on the jack in about an hour to get me back to work. I told him I was considering a new laptop, and he suggested some upgrades to my computer instead. He installed a more permanent fix on the DC jack, a solid state drive, and a new battery. It's like a new computer!!! It's so fast now! I visited this shop based on high yelp reviews. I visited the shop on Friday to investigate a blue screen of death on my desktop. They called me a few hours later to address the problem they found on the diagnostic. They started repairing it the same day. On Tuesday, I received a call from Damon informing me that my desktop is ready to be picked up. When I arrived to pick up the desktop, Damon carried my desktop to my car. I went to him after reading reviews on yelp and i was glad i did. I had a broke computer screen and had been quoted amounts between 180-over 200 to get it fixed. the worse part it would take weeks to get done. I went in to see him and he got it done for 100 and was finished within less than an hour. I was beyond thrilled. When I went to go skype with my husband that night my built in webcam wouldn't work, so i took it back the next day and he fixed it up right away and didn't charge extra.
