Point blank LIAR!! Told me my factory stereo needs replacement. But my factory stereo hasn't been working in years. What I have is an aftermarket Sony stereo. He claimed he checked the vehicle for the whinning sound problem but told me he did not see the Sony stereo. What???? He was working on the car but did not see it infront of him! Terrible they said we should buy the unit and I did but he never said to buy it through him he gave me a price of 900-1000 but then over charged me because apparently i don't get 5% off sense I didn't buy it from them I bought it personally honestly terrible service my airbag light is flashing and my covers on my car are budged and screwed not to mention my screen doesn't even work when prior they said they have no warranty to send it back or fault if the unit brakes and all they can do is install the same unit again but newer they can't even install my old unit back for the same price I would not recommend as the guy who even did my car was barely even talking to me personally it was just mostly the sales rep terrible place. read more

Brought my F250 in to have the previously working radio mic fixed after a light job done at their site. They kept the truck for 7 days and when I got it back the MIC was still broken. I took it to another shop and they found Steve's shop broke the radio mic and tried to cover it up with 3M puddy to hold the mic in place. They lie, cheat and steal your money. Don't walk...run from this company!!! read more

This place seems very money hungry. Wanted to spend at most $600. Ended up spending over a THOUSAND due to employees not knowing their products. All I can say is make sure you really research what you want to buy and research if it will work with your specific car or not because they may not know or if they know they may not tell you until afterwards. I have been into Car Audio for many many years now. Digital Car Audio and Steve have done 4 jobs for me Three installs and 1 upgrade. All install were Professional lifetime done right installs. I would know. Very easy to work with, high grade materials used and very knowledgeable. John McDonough and Mike Malcom at Digital Car Audio did a horrible job installing my speakers and followed it up with horrible customer service, backed up from the company owner. John and Mike installed my tweeters into the factory wiring, feeding them with full-range power from amps with NO highpass and causing them to fail prematurely. The Rockford speaker manual states clear as day the tweeters are to be wired off of the tweeter outputs on the mid-range speakers only. When the tweeters actually worked, the sound I was getting from their work was beyond bad. It was INSANELY bright in the front, something that should have tipped them off if they even listened to it after working on the vehicle. I found out the wiring error when I opened my car door up to do some work much later on, but since I had opened up the vehicle, (this is how I found out it was actually an installer error in the first place) they flat out refused to honor their "lifetime warranty" on workmanship. They even insinuated that I could have tampered with the wiring to make it look like bad workmanship on their part. They did not look at the vehicle. They didn't even call me back to tell me they were denying their own work. I was told since they weren't going to do anything for me they didn't feel the need to contact me at all. Look elsewhere. Digital Car Audio ducked and dodged their responsibility and when faced with a few hours of labor reinstalling $50 in parts, they chose to instead insinuate I was tampering with the car. read more

Things were looking good at first. The staff seemed very knowledgeable and helpful. All in all my experience there was good. I dropped off my car to have them install a head and 4 speakers. Here's where the trouble starts: A little later I get a call and they tell me that the head is in, but that the hole for the front speakers is too big and that the back speaker holes are too small. I just told them to do the head and leave it at that, reluctantly. To be fair, the head install looks great and is working perfectly fine. The next day I got skeptical/ambitious and decided to take my door panels off and take a look for myself. Long story short, I discovered that, while the stock speakers were ever so slightly bigger, the new ones fit perfectly fine with little trouble. Even more interestingly, the back speakers were exactly the same size as the new ones I planned to put in (as I originally thought), not more than an inch smaller, which is what they told me. I went ahead and finished the job myself with no major trouble. I guess the guys at DCA just didn't feel like doing it or they can't measure properly. The worst was yet to come, however. In the course of installing the speakers myself, I learned just how carefully DCA handles the cars in their shop: not very. A significantly scratched sail panel, broken handle clip, several broken plugs, and a broken window switch (which I had to solder to even make work again) are just a few of the things I discovered. At the end of the day, DCA may do a decent job on the surface, but based on my experience, they only do the job if they feel like it (I heard one of them complaining in the back that he would have to stay later now when I dropped my car off), and when they do, they may not be so careful on the inside. I am a used car dealer that used them for years. I had great success for a long time. They had some employee turnover and thinks went downhill from there. I had an overhead DVD player that went bad and was still in the warranty period. It would work sometimes and sometimes it would not. My customer videoed it not working but by the time they got it in it was working again. They refused to fix it. This happened three times. It quit working completely right after the warranty so they refused to fix it at that point. They made me buy another unit and they installed it for "free" read more
