I am someone who generally does not like having my photo taken because I tend to pose awkwardly (or do strange things with my face and/or arms). Ben knows how to work with people who need help in this area, in a way that is empathetic, respectful, educational, and even fun! One of his greatest talents is that he knows how to recognize and capture your authentic expressions, even in a studio environment. This is evident when you look through his portfolio. When he gives guidance on posing/angles, he walks through the "why" of each step and how even subtle changes affect the final product. He takes the time to understand what you want to portray and what you don't, and the end result is MAGIC. Other details: The studio itself is spacious and well designed. It was easy for me to get to, and not in a super crowded, loud, or busy area. Prices are straightforward and fair - there are no surprises. Another thing that I appreciated, even before the photo session, is that his website is impressive and extremely easy to navigate. Most, if not all of your questions, are likely answered on the website. You can easily book your session directly. Bonus points - he made it himself! If you want a photo of yourself that you actually love, look no further.

They were excellent in all ways, but one: Instead of shrinking some of the images to the size I requested and then print them, they printed them and then cut some of them down to size. This took a lot of the image of each piece of art away. This cost me $100.00 for something I can not use. Note: I absolutely abhor giving bad reviews. I wish they had called me to okay the cutting before they did it, but they didn't. I would rate how they treated me with five stars along with their effort for good communication. I would rate the end result with a single star. but I gave them two instead. I'm sorry to post this negative review. I'm glad to know that there are many five star reviews.

They could have sent 3 people to do this job and it wouldn't have gone faster, or ran more efficiently. He's beyond AMAZING and I hope, he's valued highly as an employee.**** From start to finish.... Every step was "perfection"! I have other shredding jobs coming up and no matter the size, I'll be calling this company. I'll also try to request Christopher, if allowed. Lastly, I was given a bid based on my own guessing of quantity. It turned out to be much less, so final bill was adjusted accordingly. Many companies will list the bid amount and state "This amount plus any additional fees will be added & due at time of service." Looking for the perfect place to watch the Krampus parade from, there's no better place than the…read moreBagdad. We snagged outside tables on the sidewalk for the 4 of us, ordered food and drinks and proceeded to watch Portland life cruise by us as we waited for the festivities to begin. Our drinks included beer, rum coffee drinks, espresso shots and water, all of which was served quickly and efficiently. And then we ordered food. Lots of food. Soon after we finished eating our pizza, burgers and tots, the Krampuses (Krampusi?) began to show up. What a hoot! And what a great spot to view the many renditions of Krampus as they strolled past us, sometimes switching our legs with their switches or growling into our cameras. Parking in this area can be challenging but park a block or so away (in any direction) and walk on over. Get a table outside if you can swing it or sit at the bar, and watch Portland life as it cruises by. It's a nice way to spend an hour or two.
