The team at Focal Point photography are both knowledgeable and patient. As an amateur photographer who struggles learning with YouTube, I would frequently come in with questions regarding equipment or settings and they would happily take the time to explain it in a way that I could understand. They have used gear in good quality sold at an incredibly fair price and new gear straight from the manufacturers. Their rental program is vast, allowing me to try before I buy from any focal length glass I want to any camera body under the sun without putting a hole in my bank account. Nate and his team run a tight ship and I could not recommend them more. Will happily continue supporting this business as long as I live in the area. read more

Words cannot describe how happy I am that we hired Focal Point Digital Media for our wedding! We worked with Ryan and he has incredible talent mixed with outstanding work ethics. Trust me, I did A LOT of research before the wedding and when I came across Ryan, I knew he was something special. His knowledge, creativity, and talent is remarkable! He is very passionate about his work and the work speaks for itself. He is such a joy to work with and we really appreciated how responsive, kind and funny he has been throughout the wedding planning process. He takes the time to answer any and all questions. He was definitely one of my favorite people to work with throughout the entire process. Looking back on our wedding, our wedding film is the best thing we have. It has been such a joy to share it with so many family and friends (the highlight film was a HUGE hit too)! We had family and friends comment they wished they had a wedding film like ours. Ryan has a creative eye and captures beautiful moments and they play so captivating on film. As the bride, I get to relive the day and it brings back so many wonderful emotions. After doing a lot of research and homework, I recommend hiring Focal Point Digital Media for your wedding and you can thank me later! read more

Today we received our wedding video from Ryan at Focal Point, and we are so amazed and grateful for his incredible work. When we originally considered contracting with a videographer, we struggled with whether the cost would be worth the output. However, after watching samples from Focal Point's website and reading a lot of recommendations from other brides, we decided it was worth building into our budget. From the first meeting with Ryan we felt confident about his abilities and what kind of video we would receive. Ryan and his assistant were very professional but also fun on the wedding day, not to mention flexible and creative. Completion of the video took about 3 1/2 months, and boy was it worth waiting for. The highlight reel captured so many wonderful moments of our preparation, ceremony, and reception -- it brought back all the beauty and magic of our wedding day. Watching the full length feature of the ceremony and reception showed us pieces of the wedding that we'd forgotten or missed, and gave us a new perspective on the wonderful day. The blooper reel made us both laugh like loons, and really captured some of the lighter moments of the day. The music aligned with our requests and created a great background for the video. Videography is a pricey consideration in the wedding budget, but I can confidently say at it was money well spent -- Ryan and Focal Point really gave us the chance to experience our wedding again, and we're incredibly grateful to have this video. We give our highest recommendation for Focal Point as your wedding videographer. read more

Focal Point filmed our 2 day wedding weekend. From the start, Ryan was amazing. He was so incredibly easy and fun to work with, was super prompt to all emails, and somehow easily understood our vision. Our wedding highlight film was of spectacular quality, flowed amazingly between the two days of our wedding, and captured the most beautiful and precious moments of both days. We were brought to tears watching it. Our friends and family all loved the highlight film and keep raving about the amazing quality of it. I am so glad I went with Focal Point - I would recommend them highly, without reservation. Ryan and his team are true professionals, passioante about their craft and deliver a truly remarkable, heart warming product. Seriously a gem! I don't even know how they captured all they did without being intrusive AT ALL. They were amazing, amazing, amazing to work with! read more

My experience with Focal Point Digital Media began in year 2005. Ryan filmed and edited my wedding video. He was such a pleasure to work with! His ideas and suggestions made the video elegant and timeless. He captured all the important components and turned it into a beautiful story of my wedding day. As I was watching the DVD with my children almost 15 years later, I realized I need to insure this precious video does not disappear due to DVD deterioration or loss. After several unsuccessful attempts to digitize the video myself (either poor quality and other issues) I decided to look up Focal Point Media and see if the Company is still around. After all, it has been 15 years and many businesses don't last that long, especially in the industry today... After quick search online, I learned not only Focal Point Digital Media and Ryan (the owner) was still around, the Company has flourished and now has many awards! I called the number from the website and Ryan answered the phone right away! (another rarity today). He remembered me and my wedding and was eager to help me digitize my video. What really shocked me is he still had a copy of my DVD! This is 15 years later! Again, Ryan was quick and professional with his promised service. I now have a digitized copy of my precious video that is safe, and sound and uploaded on many different storages for generations to watch . I could not be happier client and be more pleased with a service... If you are considering Focal Point Digital Media for your wedding - look no further! This Company is 5-star in every aspect . read more
