I was going to use another company at first (Easy something or other), then I read a lot of reviews for them and honestly I felt like it was a bad idea. So I googled cd duplication companies and atomic disc came up. I messaged them via email and got a reply right away. The guy who pretty much oversaw everything was named Chris and he was very very helpful. It can be somewhat of a daunting task if youre not overly familiar with sending files and whatnot which im not. Chris answered all of my questions which there were several and was just overall nice to work with. I also used their "mastering" services and man am I glad I did. I recorded my whole album myself in my "at home studio", its very amateur and definitely not a professional studio, so needless to say it sounded a bit rough when I submitted it to atomic disc. Jason was the guy who did the mastering and I cant stress it enough how great of a job he did. I would listen to my cd (the rough draft I sent them) in my car and always had to adjust the volume and some parts would honestly hurt my ears, not anymore. Jason took my rough draft and made it sound phenomenal. It sounds so much better, no more changing the volume constantly. Im so happy with it, the entire thing! Altogether I spent a couple hundred bucks which included them mastering 16 songs so Im totally satisfied with this investment and the money was very well spent. I spoke w a local studio before I had atomic master it and they said THEIR mastering services start at $50 per song, so that would have been over $750 (I think), atomic charged $275. I also have to say how great the CD looks. I got the digipak lite and it just looks so amazing, Im very proud of it and very happy w the work the team did. Thanks Atomic, you guys rock! Was sent an email for discount on eco packs. Ordered 50...didn't know the eco pack doesn't allow cd to fit in artwork sleeve pocket. The paper artwork wraps around cd and then you have to put it in plastic sleeve. Stupidest thing I've ever seen in my life! Whose going to want to keep the artwork in the plastic sleeve, especially if you have it in a vehicle and have to get cd out quickly...If you're not aware of the packaging when you take cd out of plastic, the cd falls on floor! Too much handling and unwrapping! I Should've paid closer attention to details of the eco pack, by watching video on website. Not satisfied and no use contacting company since they'll just tell me I should've looked at video on website. My advice get rid of that ridiculous package! read more

Atomic Disc has a great website and their communication was great via email. The package arrived earlier than expected. I got a 4-panel wallet with 2 pockets. I was so disappointed by the quality. It is thin and flimsy. The ink looks nice but the flimsy construction is such a bummer and unfortunately will not bring me back to work on future projects with them. My fault for not ordering samples beforehand. I have gotten wallets printed at easydisc that are about the same quality and almost half the price. -a very disappointed customer :( read more

WELL I WAS HORRIBLY WRONG, not only did I have to call to even find out that a nice little board meeting took place this morning which still gave this company hours to get in touch with the artist, manager ect to explain why they don't want to work with you and surprisingly not make any money($1400) due to this meeting & who knows making decisions that are not only Character Defamation, But BAD BUSINESS, Glad I didn't actually put up all that money cause I'm sure it would of fit the unfair opinion discussed in a closed door meeting to talk bad behind another individuals back with not even given a choice to defend himself. I purchased a 100 disc ordered from Atomic Disc a few months back due to them having the best price around. When I noticed there was an error on the discs they shipped, i informed them of the error. They apologized immediately and re-sent 100 new discs and paid for all the shipping. They even let me keep the initial order I had received. I understand that mistakes happen in business ( I own a biz myself). It is how you take care and own up to the mistakes that makes a business terrible or great. It pains me to write this review, because Atomic Disc has turned around three orders for me in the past that were all nearly perfect (one of them had an issue that I did not mention ahead of time, so that wasn't really their fault). However, I am still flabbergasted at my last order. Out of 100 Wallet CDs, at least 60 were noticeably folded off-center and looked terrible. When I asked about this, their response - I kid you not! - was: "There was nothing wrong with the printing, and your listeners can just refold the cover after opening. Anything else we can help you with?" Needless to say I was apoplectic. I wrote again but hours passed without a response, so I opened a PayPal case. Then they came back and said: "You can't really do a PayPal claim with this type of product, but if you close your case we'll work something out." I did close the case, and the deal with came up with was a $50 refund (about 1/6 of the order) and new plastic bags, so that it was up to me to take the bad covers out, refold them, then put them back into the new bags. I accepted this deal, but it continues to piss me off every time I have to fix one of these CDs. Really, they should have run off another 50 without hesitation, and with an effusive apology. I should be able to pluck these CDs out of the box and send them to my listeners without a second thought. It seemed they had been running a bit late on my order and I had inquired by email twice before I got a response, and they told me it would be another two days. But a couple hours later, the order was done! I can only assume that they put a rush on my order and thus over half the CDs were badly folded by harried workers. Anyone who makes a creative product knows how frustrating something like this can be, and the fact that they basically blew me off until I filed a claim only made the situation worse. I agreed to their deal but it was really the absolute least they could come up with. ("Here's some money, and fix your own CDs." It's sad, but I'll be looking for another duplication company next time. read more

Chris and company managed to hustle my last-minute-scramble-to-get-it-pressed disc order to me in time, even slipping in a last minute artwork change. The CDS look great and the jacket printing is excellent. Definitely recommend. If you're in PDX you can drive down or have them shipped quick, which is nice. read more
