Front staff really nasty-it was my first time here so I asked a couple of questions. I'm super polite always I know it's hard doing customer service. The girl was so nasty and dismissive and wouldn't go over anything with me. I was getting my shopping on near Lincoln Center when I realized I was hangry and needed a quick bite. Enter Dig Inn and this fab meal with excellent macros. At $10 you can't beat this healthy plate of charred chicken and brown rice (allegedly 750 calories, 80 grams of protein). I was afraid this was going to taste bland but it was quite the opposite. Chicken was nicely cooked and had great flavor. I enjoyed some for lunch and the remaining for dinner. If I lived closer I would likely buy these plates weekly as part of my meal prep plan. This was disappointing at best. This is my first time trying Dig. The kale salad was mushy and overly sauced (and I like sauce). It was way too soggy. They didn't have Brussels sprouts. I'm sick of Dig Inn, they have denied accepting cash multiple times which is completely against New York law I'm sick of businesses telling me no cash after standing in line for a long time putting my order together just to get to the cash register and have someone deny me my $20 $50 $100 in other words if you don't have a credit card you are not allowed to dine in this place they won't except your business. That's basically the message that they're telling everyone that doesn't have a credit card or doesn't want to use their credit card and as of now that is completely against the law and is considered discrimination. read more

The bowl I got this time was quick, but for the quality, it was not worth $14. I chose a Build Your Own Marketbowl with: - Protein: Charred Chicken - Base: Farm Greens with Mint - Side: Jasper Hill Mac & Cheese - Side: Lemon Basil Summer Squash They only had scraps left of the Farm Greens, but I chose it as the base, expecting they'd add more fresh ones. But all they did was give me the scraps left at the bottom of their bowl, so my bowl had very little greens. The chicken was plentiful and the Mac & Cheese was good, but I would have liked to have more greens. I went during lunchtime, so it wasn't like it was the end of the day.
