I've shopped here multiple times for jackets, shoes, and sometimes just to browse. The selection is exactly what you'd expect from a DICK'S Sporting Goods, but this is smaller than the location I now live closer to; Keep that in mind if you're going here with the intent of leaving with a specific product. The staff are great! I got to chat with a guy who worked in the men's clothing section; He ended up helping me choose this Nike Windrunner jacket as it went so well with my gray and white Nike mid dunks. They do have good deals on select products, but of course the jacket I chose wasn't on sale... :-/ whoops. read more

Went in there with my son prepared to spend lots on new baseball gear for him and get me some new workout gear and tennis gear for me. We asked casually what happened to the hunting section and triggered somebody who banished us on why guns are a problem (I don't even hunt lol) but then went to the tennis rackets and barely anything had prices and the shelves were a mess. Started to think the place was sold or going out of business. Walked through the clothing and some other sections like wiffleball and blitzball equipment and none had pricing - had a guy tell me the racket I had in my hand was on sale for $29 instead of the originally told price of $39. Made it to baseball and bought a bucket of balls and some wiffelball sets- no pricing. While waiting in line to buy all this stuff I picked out some Ray Ban Aviatora listed as $180 on tags. Paid for all the stuff after tracking people down for pricing on all of it and headed home. Got home and saw I was charged $195 for the sunglasses and the original $39 on the raquet. Called and they said they could refund on card then couldn't then told me they may need to see a tag on my glasses to prove it was $180 to honor a refund. Took everything back ($242) the next day and just got a refund - jumped on Amazon who had accurate and available pricing and selection and at my door the next day with no rude employees. Won't touch that location again. read more

This is the closest sporting goods store to me. It's not the best at anything but they have a wide selection of almost every type of sporting goods you could want. They have fishing and hunting supplies as well as golf camping and hiking running equipment. They have a fairly well stocked bike department as well. Are there better golf stores? Sure. Better fishing stores? Sure. But they have a decent variety of things that enable them to be an almost one stop shop for sporting goods in this area. read more

Short staffed, what help you do get is vague. If you speak up they have heard it before and will try and pacify you with store credit that cant even buy a candy bar. When you finally find someone to talk to in there and ask questions they are already defeated with the please don't make my day any harder look. Past three times I have gone here in the last 90 days it's been nothing less than a hassle. read more

It was my first time at any Dicks Sporting Goods. The store itself is pretty cool. Lots of different sporting items anything you can imagine. The have clothes and shoes as well. The staff however are not very friendly seems like they hate there jobs. The bathroom had no soap just a huge bottle of hand sanitizer. read more

Never again!! Purchased a Teeter Inversion table at a cost of $500.00. They gave me a returned product that wasn't repacked correctly and therefore had scratched pieces from shifting around in the box. Filed a complaint with Dick's Sporting Goods customer service (HAH!) in India (the Country) multiple times, sent an email to Corporate Headquarters... NOTHING, not a word! District Mgr. ...no call, Store Mgr. ...no call, If it wasn't for the fact that it was a gift for my wife and she likes the table I would have returned it. Never again will I step into a Dick's Sporting Goods! It a shame when you try to support a brick & mortar store and they insist on being rude and not customer friendly. read more

My name is Nate Sheffer and I use to work here. I recently purchased a GT Aggressor Pro that was being built by my boyfriend Matt. I came to pick it up yesterday and noticed it had problems with it. Things like the crank falling off, front disk brakes not working, and noise in the back brake. I took it in for Matt to fix and gave him an attitude. We both argued back and forth like the gay couples we were and I stormed out yelling insults at him, telling him his dick wasn't even good and that it was a worm. Poor selection in sizes. The L and XL are sold out and there's racks of small and medium. Prices are high compared to most online. Gun prices are high and now you need to be 21 to buy even though state law says 18. read more

Ordered, paid for, in store at Belmont, Fruitville Pike Lancaster. Outdoor portable basketball hoop. Nearly $700. Was scheduled, without my knowledge, for delivery/assembly 3 days post purchase. Got a phone call "confirming delivery/assembly" 3 hours prior. Scrambled to find neighbors to help (I work FT). Finally left work to be there. No call/no show. Was again scheduled (w/o my consent) to a different day. Recruited neighbors to help out while I was at work. Again, no show/no call. Was informed later by both Dicks and delivery company that no appointment was scheduled, despite the fact that I called to confirm it at 8:36am. Finally, THIRD delivery/stand by your word. assembly time from 12-3 today. By 3:10 no show/no call. Called Dicks. Again, given the run around. The workers should be there w/in 30 minutes. They finally arrived and set up hoop 1 hour past promised time. Everyone at Dicks very nice/everyone at Select Express very nice. But the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. DICK'S!! You are responsible for your sub-contractors. You are the face of the organization. Find a new sub-contractor!! Post Script: the workers arrived; did the job well and received a generous tip. My issue is not with Dick's staff or Select Express staff; but with the Commuincations between the two entities. read more
