I've been looking fora replacement Peacoat. My last $100 off brand was getting worn after 22 years. Found one that fit, under $200. On line, and most auction sales run between $250-450. This man sells the real deal stuff. I dealt w/ the owner w/ no problems making adeal trading in a decent but not fitting other coat. I had one size too small, and he had a selection up to 58 (XXXL?) Great place to find many items for industry workers such as Emergency workers, Police Officers & Military Service workers. This past winter I brought my cousin a great warm thick jacket. The price was perfect and the quality (which was definitely needed as he is tough on coats) was perfect. My recent visit I was in the market for male Cargo shorts for hubby. I found exactly what I was looking for. I like the cargo shorts when I can find hubby's size as the quality is excellent & they last a lifetime. They have great prices and when they have a sale, they have a sale. The owner is very nice and very attentive. I seldom shop downtown because most of the merchants do not interest me. I had occasion to visit this store for a very particular purpose. I needed a spout for a "jerry" can". This particular type of a can uses a clamp to hold t the spout to the can - it does not screw on. What I got was a ration of flippant and b.s. from Frank - the owner - and I left "empty handed". I prefer to deal locally when I can butg in tghis case I was mistaken. If he thinks he can be successful by pissing off customers I wish him luck. I found the spout on line. It was $8.99 including shipping. Next time I'll know where to look --- and it won't be the Dover Army & Navy store. I gave him 1 star because he was open when.I got there. read more
