I never got issued a MOLLE 2 large ruck and when I called he asked if I had lost mine and I explained the army failed to get one to me so he put his last one on hold for me and discounted it and it has been working great since. Called ahead to see if they had what I was missing for my last CIF turn in. Randy said they had plenty so I made the 45 min drive to his shop. Slow down when your GPS says you are close or you'll miss the turn into Randy's private property where his shop is (in a residential area). I love the setup - dirt gravel road leading to Army tents full of plenty of Army issued clothing and equipment, besides the hard stand building with even more items. Randy is cool and professional. Once I clear CIF, I'll return to sell all what I have left to Randy. I highly recommend this shop. read more

This is one of my favorite stores in the entire region. It's a genuine *surplus* store in a unique setting. Most surplus stores actually carry more new 'military-like' gear than they do actual surplus and are more like low-end outdoor/tactical shops. Those are cool and I enjoy them too for other purposes but sometimes you want actual stuff with an NSN, and Randy's shop is like 99% real surplus gear and he has a huge variety of stuff, from uniforms to chest rigs to medical, packs, pouches, holsters, pretty much everything you can think of. Given his location a lot of it is Army but I've seen plenty of uniform issue from other branches as well. He runs the shop out of his property so it's a bit tricky finding the first time, but something about taking a gravel driveway to buy surplus in an outdoors settings makes it even better. What you'll find here: - containers, rucks, packs, pouches (saw, grenade etc), camelbaks, holsters, pistol belts, poly pro, acu's, class a's msss, chest rigs and plates, ifaks and supplies, mre's, alices, molles, camo netting, eye/ear pro, helmets, way more, all real surplus. A very small handful of aftermarket non-surplus packs, and a small handful of aftermarket non-surplus accessory stuff. What you won't find here: - tons of cheap civilian sleeping bags, civilian tents, new in box work boots, rows and rows of cheap knives, fake "take a number" customer service gags, or any of the stuff that tends to dominate other 'surplus' stores. He runs this shop by himself so if you aren't in the area absolutely call ahead and make sure he's expecting you. I've been there several times and have only dropped in once when he wasn't around. Randy's also one of the nicest humblest guys you'll ever do business with. Take your time and talk with him while you shop. read more

Randy has what you need hands down. The cigarette smoke is heavy, but nothing the cleaners or laundry can't take care of. Randy is very sweet. I'm going back, I'm love the items and he has the old as well as the new. I donated my old Army uniforms and bought the news ones. As a veteran I can appreciate the atmosphere. read more

The store is located in a residential neighborhood, which makes the turn off for it difficult to spot and the private store which is a converted garage might seem small from the outside. However it actually has a great variety of uniforms, gear and equipment from all the military branches. This is a great place to check out if you are missing equipment for supply/CIF turn in. It is certainly better to get any missing/lost equipment replaced, rather than deal with the long and annoying paperwork process for missing equipment. Also it cost way more to be charged by the military. It is run by a retired Army LTC, so he is very knowledgeable and helpful with finding exactly what you are looking for. They carry authentic military gear at very reasonable prices. When we were searching for gear, we had checked the other stores in the area that were listed as Military Surplus but they didn't really have a great selection of actual military items. They had what I would describe as more commercial tactical gear for civilian use. I would suggest calling first before dropping by or call them if you get there and the store doesn't seem open. It is a private business and even though their hours are listed as 7 days a week from 9am-6pm, They still might have the doors closed if it is a slow day but they are just next door to open shop. read more

Met randy for the first time today. He is a retired military veteran like myself. This surplus shop is awesome brought back tons of memories. This guy knew his stuff and was very helpful the place has a big variety of items. I purchased and few items. I highly recommend this place. This guy was professional and treated you with respect and dignity. He prices are fair and even works with you. I only wish he had a bigger place and more items. I could of shooed in there for hours and talked for ever. I def will be back. He doesn't make you feel like a customer or rushed but makes you feel appreciated and welcome there. Thanks randy! My college student needed gear for a wilderness trip so when we searched for army surplus we found Randy's. Trust me when you pull up it seems a little scary but this turned out to be a wonderful experience. Armed with my list of camping items Randy and his friend found me everything he needed for his trip including size 14 boots( these worked out great and he loved them) . I could have found most of these things at rei but Randy's was much cheaper and of course better quality and most importantly different (and as Randy reminded us all made in the USA). This is a great place for non military folks as well who need camping gear, we even purchased a school backpack here as well. Make sure you check the hours before you go or call.
