Would leave negative stars if I could. I went for a return due to sizing, it was half a size bigger which was recommended when purchasing a Nike basketball shoes compared to other brands. This is the very first and only item I'm trying return from many purchases I've made on Dick's online store. The store manager told me they can't accept the return because the shoes are creased, dirty and it looks like I've used them outdoor a bunch of times, after I told him I used it twice indoor. Basically he called me a liar. They asked me why is it creased. I told them you can have a brand new pair and take 10 steps in them, they will crease due to the design. I even offered to demonstrate with a new pair, then he immediately said "we don't sell those shoes here." He mentioned that he's been selling shoes for 18 years and my return is the 5th time someone trying to do the same thing that day. They keep asking me why didn't I try the shoes inside my home? Well, they're basketball shoes so I had to try it at an indoor run. What am I gonna do, play basketball inside my house? They also asked why I ordered it if I know it's half a size bigger, so I told them that it's recommended to order half a size bigger for Nike sports shoes. Honestly I don't know why I spent so much time arguing with them when they can just tell me that it's against policy and that's the end of it. I could have just left to do the return online (which I did, smoothly.) At least now I know why it's called DICK'S Sporting Goods, because they hire mostly dicks to work at this location. read more

My middle daughter requested a pink Stanley tumbler for Christmas. Yes, I could have visited numerous stores as I am sure they all had pink Stanley tumblrs; however, the only place I visited was Dick's Sporting Goods. Upon entering, I went straight to the middle of the store, where many Yeti and Stanley products are on display. It took me all of twenty seconds to find the perfect tumbler for my daughter. It was pink and glittery. I was a happy camper with the tumblar. The only negative for me was that I had a couple of questions regarding the tumblers and a few other items I was interested in purchasing; however, I was unable to locate an available employee to assist me, as the only two employees I observed were the two cashiers at the front of the store. read more

Dicks sporting Goods is ALWAYS my go-to, when I am in the market for new Yeti products and tennis shoes. This location is always fully stocked, clean, and the employees are very helpful. I also like that they greet you, when you walk into the store. I have ordered items on-line in the past and they arrived to my home within a day or two. Another plus in my book. Service is great, and the return policy is not bad. Way to go Dicks Sporting Goods! You have my vote. read more

It's sad. The days of being able to try on shoes, buy from local brick and mortar stores, and have good customer service seem to be over. Now when you call, it's like a hassle for them to check if they have a product. I get transferred to shoes and wait on hold, no one answers so routed back to same guy who says nothing kind or informative, just without a word transfers me back to shoes to wait again, woman answers and again it's like you're putting them out. A whole store of shoes (presumably) but "only one men's pickleball shoe." I guess only men play pickleball? No "I'm sorry. We'll let the owner know there's a request for women's pickleball shoes." Just, "I'm just telling you what we have." Yes, that is all you are doing. This is why everyone is buying on Amazon. Personally I'd still like to try shoes on before I buy them. read more

I come here to get new golf club grips and fitting. They have done a good job in the past. So, I've returned with a new set of clubs.

We came VERY late and they still let us in and gave us great service. Ayden worked so hard to accommodate everyone, even though he was the only one running to get shoes. Customers were rude, but he maintained a great attitude and didn't engage. We appreciate the great service and hope the store realizes what a great worker they have. To the lady who was complaining about the cake in your car being ruined....that was a you problem NOT the workers. Why are you soooo rude? read more

Worst store ever ,came in at 9am with my wife. I was looking at the gloves and she went her way to look at water bottles. My wife went into the restroom and the girl at the shoe department followed her and was hiding behind the door!!! Thinking my wife was stealing. The worker NEVER used the restroom at all . At the same time as in looking at the gloves I see a worker talking on his headset and looking around. As he sees me. He stops and ask if I needed help. It was obvious they called him out to come see what I was doing. This is the worst experience. The DATE WAS SATURDAYS APRIL 25th 2026 read more

This was my second Dick's that I shopped at this week. I ordered one item on line and came for this one purpose only. It was getting the 2024 LA Dodgers World Champions baseball cap. They already ran out of the one I wanted in the Upland store. It just so happened that I was coming right near here anyways in Covina before picking up a rider. I ordered the hat while I was outside the store. I went in and picked up the item quickly myself, took it up front, showed the cool guy by the front door that I already got the item, he scanned my item, and I was out the door! The store looked really clean. Easy to get to. My hat with tax was about $31.20. It had a discount of 25% tied to it! It was a much better value than paying the original approx $45! Thanks for a good experience here!!! read more

This is already the second time I've called for a stock check and I show up and they do not have it. I don't know why I keep coming to this location. This always happens and I always specify over the phone to make sure they have it before driving out there. Horrible service. read more

Wanted to leave a review for the Golf pro shop. I bought new shaft and grips to have them switch out on my current gamer. Koa, Jake and Jeremy were very tentative, provided great service, and very kind. My order came out perfect with the desired length I asked for, with a 24 hour return time. I previously went to Golfio and Roger Dunn, and both ruined my equipment along with club head before. I'll be coming back here for sure for any tinkering. Thanks guys for your work! read more

Save yourself from any aggravation! Store manager Jessica has no idea what the policies are and customer service will give you different information. Always the run around at this West Covina location. Bare minimum customer service, if they're willing to help at all, and inexperienced management making up whatever excuses suit their agenda. Did an online order and picked up from here. Picked up my order on 7/30 @ 12:26 pm. There was a boy and a girl working at the counter. I went up and said "I'm here to pick up an order under the name Kyle D*****", which is my name. He then asks for my ID and goes "oh, it's you!" and walks to get my order, as he walks by the girl he goes "Yeah, this guy is talking about himself in the 3rd person" and I go "What did you say?" and then doesn't say anything. Kinda weird to try and make fun of someone so blatantly, especially a customer. Also, if you're going to make fun of someone, at least be right about it. I do pick up orders all the time and they always ask for your name, so of course i'm going to tell you my name. Telling someone your name isn't talking in the third person. First and last time I'll be picking up my order here. What a joke. read more

Not only is this store trashed with clothes all over the floor and literal trash scattered throughout...the employees have the nerve to be rude and unhelpful. They have two bozos standing in the front like a couple of sticks in the mud, for what? They're definitely not greeting you when you walk in. They just look at you silently and awkwardly as you walk by. They should be walking the floor picking up the mess they have on their hands. The other employees won't even look at you. The only person who was decent was Mya who rang me up. I won't be returning. read more

Stopped in to look for Carhartt T-Shirts, the selection was not good. So I continued to looks at other products and found the store was very clean and staff very friendly. Had to make a quick visit to men's bathroom found it disturbing and disgusting. Without going into to much detail it looked like it hadn't been cleaned In quite some time ! I'll leave it at that ! The last couple of times I was here I remembered the horrible customer service and there was no employees to be found when I needed help. All that has changed now thanks to new management. As soon as I walked in I was greeted and asked if I needed any assistance in finding any particular items, great start. As I strolled through the various sections of the store I noticed that the manager was everywhere, making sure all his staff members were on point.I also notified that everyone he came across he gave the best service possible. And since the last time I came through, this store seems more organized and clean.I didn't buy anything but as I was existing the store I noticed a sign saying "if you weren't satisfied give me an opportunity to assist" with a business card holder. This guy is really serious about customer service. So kudos and mad props to you Mr.David Ortega. That is the way to turn around a store that had such negative reviews.Hopefully your passion and strive for customer service stays imbedded in your young workers heads.I will most definitely come back to buy or browse just knowing I will have a great experience. And that's my take,Peace read more

Dicks in general sucks. They never have anything I need in stock. Always have to order to pick up or ship. Today was the global outage with Microsoft. Granted, this happened, but when we went to purchase a $300 glove because our dog ate our sons, it was semi closed at 2 pm in the afternoon. All the other stores around were open for business. Dicks was doing pick up only. We walked up and told the worker we just wanted to see a glove, and if we liked it, we would buy online and pick it up. He straight out says No, we are closed. Very unfortunate for them as they lost a $300 sale. Ended up customizing a glove on Rawlings and gave them the money. I hate Dicks so much, it is to bad it's the only athletic store around read more
