I went in to the Salisbury store in September for a new pair of walking shoes. I picked out three pair and had the salesman bring them out to me. I settled on a pair of Brooks that sold for $149 but felt they were a tad too small. I told the salesman about the discomfort and asked if I should go a size up. He felt around on my toes and said "No there's plenty of room here". Unfortunately I now have two very bruised big toes that say otherwise. Because of this I have to buy a new pair of tennis shoes but I will promise you that I WILL NOT be buying them from Dick's ever again. read more

I shopped at Dick's Sporting Goods store for the first time. I was looking for a kayak, I had 2 young men Jose and Chris extremely helpful. Answering my questions, pulled it down and let me try it out. Very comfortable. Not too heavy. Told him I'll use my ace card "I'm a girl, it's too heavy" They strapped it on my car, I was concerned as I never had anything on my roof, it was fine. i really like this store and their products but the last time i went there was a associate that was completely rude and avoided contact so i wouldn't get in her line and i didn't want to assume and she was only taking returns so i waited and when another friendlier associate directed me to her she didn't say a word and tapped on the pin pad for my donation and print options before i could even react like how do they just let her be rude to customers read more

We were looking for camping and rain gear. The employees were nice and directed us to the items were wanted. Some items were expense and not much of a bargain. I was able to find what I needed for potential rain while camping. read more

I've been here a few times. The store is always clean. The employees are friendly and ready to help. I've never had a bad experience at Dick's, so nothing really stands out about this visit. read more

4 stars... 5 stars would have been very possible, but I had to go looking for help. In all fairness being left alone gave me the chance to wrap my head around my purchase. I narrowed it down to 3 or 4 bikes and went for help. The first person I came across was a manager. He got on the radio to some one and relayed the cliffs notes of what I wanted. Zach showed up and confirmed my choices were on track with what I was looking for. We narrowed it down to one and I was ready to go. This is where I was really impressed. Assuming the bike was "as is" I went to leave with it. Zach insisted on giving it a quick tune/inspection first, where sadly he found a faulty derailure. To shorten the story I'll leave it at the fact that he went out of his way to make the bike work, and when he couldn't he bent over backwards to make a better sale. read more
