So, the lessons are free but you have to pay a small fee to rent the surf board. For the four of us the total with taxes was $63. What a bargain!! The instructors led a 20 minute training session on the beach then we got into the water. They helped us get comfortable and pushed us into some waves. Their instructions were great and they sincerely cared about us standing on the boards, cheering anytime someone made it. This is a must for family bonding!!
