If Dick's doesn't have it, does it exist!? This megastore was long overdue to establish a hub in Annapolis; and they found a great location to house everything your inner athlete/ Olympian/ pro/ novice could need. It's just by off defense highway (410) near the mall, safe way & best buy. This sporting goods store far surpasses local neighboring pro-shops, by scale, offerings and quality, brands & sheer inventory. Two spansive floors of Sensory overload, m and eager staff willing to help! I'm a fan!!! See pics attached.

We live right around the corner so we took it here, but they said they weren't taking any bikes because their tech was out for an extended time. We'd check back every now and then but got the same answer, so we packed it up for the winter and just a few weeks ago I had my son and daughter bring it back. The staff, instead of just taking the bike back (which is still under warranty) chose to make a big fuss and turn us away for not having a repair #, but also stating that the bike couldn't have been damaged the way my son had stated. We call asurion and get a repair number, and then resubmit the bike. They never called us, or have me paperwork, so 2 weeks later when I pop in the guy says they can't repair the bike. At the time I thought nothing of it, and was prepared to take it to Annapolis, which is out of the way, but it was the only option. However when we came back to pick it up, I read the sign that said clear as day "if we can't repair the bike we will replace it" and we questioned the staff member about it. Scott, who we initially talked to when my kids brought the bike in, and the same day when I brought it back stated that he was the tech that was out when we initially were attempting to get it fixed. He is solely focused on the fact that the bike couldn't have broken the way my son stated, and was personally refusing to fix the bike, even though we already got the go ahead from the warranty people. Scott, is telling us that him and another manager CJ, have deemed what happened to the bike to be neglect, and have decided that they won't help us any further. They just let the bike sit in the rafter for 2 weeks, and never contacted asurion to submit any update on the bike. We argued for about 30 minutes, but got nowhere. They tried twisting our words, and down right lying about what had taken place in our prior dealing with them, and now Scott all of a sudden says he wasn't even the bike tech, but he's the person most hell bent on not honoring our warranty. Which the store doesn't even have to pay to fix, because it's under warranty. The neglect that they speak of is that they don't believe how my son claimed it broke, but let's be for real he's 15 and could possibly be withholding some details, but regardless the bike is under warranty and we didn't even need to offer an explanation. They fully refuse to help us, and we take the bike outside and call the warranty company in the parking lot. The lady from Asurion is shocked, and saying she's never heard of such a thing happening. She stated that they have already given us repair number, and given an okay for the bike to be fixed. She stated that the matter in which the bike was broken had nothing to do with anything, and that the tech just needed to assess the bike and then send them a report. We went back into the store with the lady from Asurion on the phone, and let Scott talk to her. Then after being told they didn't have a tech that could fix the bike (even though initially Scott stated he was the tech that was out the summer before) and after they said they wouldn't fix the bike, they now had a tech named Andy that would be in on Tuesday to take a look at it, and contact Asurion. However Scott, was like parts take a long time, and made it seem as if they were salty and would just stall everything to spite us, and we just really wanted to have the issue resolved. So we took the bike to Annapolis, and they didn't even care how the bike was broken, they just said we'll fix it. It could be about 2 weeks for the part and another week for the repair. Scott and CJ were rude and unprofessional. They fought us every step of the way, and even made up their own rules to impede us, when they couldn't justify anything with an actual policy. The guy from Annapolis said that they see broken derailers all of the time, and they even have a name for it, that's kind like an inside joke with the people in their department. Scott and CJ acted as if there has never ever been a broken derailer from the GT brand ever in life, and were insulted at the idea of it. Like these guys were fully invested in fighting us tooth and nail instead of giving us the service they we deserved. They went above and beyond to their duty to see that we would not have our bike serviced at their store (which is where we purchased the bike) and I can only assume that this strategy has worked for them in the past, because of how adamant and aggressive they were with my family and myself. In the end Scott had to eat humble pie as the lady from Asurion told him that they couldn't do what they were doing. They had made such a big deal about us getting the repair #, and then when we did they didn't even touch our bike.

The best I have had in a while. The salesperson lint rolled the coat because fur from the hood of other coats was all over it. He also checked the prices for me and informed me about the sales prices. He was very helpful in helping me decide which cost would suit my needs. He explained that all Northface coats and jackets had a lifetime warranty and even items that are Northface, but purchased from another store, could be brought into the store for a warranty claim. At checkout, he offered my 10% off for signing up for emails and the like. Based on the service, selection, quality, and value (especially when sales promotions are on), I am a loyal customer. On my 4th Northface coat and my son is in his 6th since he was a child (now in college) and all of them look and function as good as new. Five stars.

It was kind of painful and took several days to finally get the purchase approved. In any event, the luggage was shipped in a timely fashion and arrived unscathed. Unfortunately, it wasn't exactly what we wanted and some of the features weren't visible via the website so we decided to return it. Since this would have been a fairly large shipment, we checked to see if we could return it to a North face store. The customer sales representative for North face said that we could return it to a North face store but not an outlet that just sells North face items. So, today we made the 2 and 1/2 hour round trip to Annapolis to return the luggage. After parking and schlepping the luggage about a quarter-mile through the mall we found the North face store. The customer service rep at the store then told us we couldn't return it to the store because of an online discount. That didn't make much logical sense since in effect we had paid less than the luggage was worth but we're only asking to be reimbursed for what we had paid. Fortunately, the more senior representative at the store told us that he would ship the luggage back to North face at no cost to us. We just wouldn't be reimbursed until the luggage was received at the warehouse. Not optimum, but certainly better than lugging the shipment back to our house and having to package it ourself. All in all the experience was somewhat frustrating And certainly a waste of a few hours of my life that I will never get back.

What a great outfit! I am a small boats enthusiast, and I have a particular yen for wooden boats,…read morebecause I think they're classier than plastic. CLC is the nuts. I own one CLC17 kayak which I bought from a guy in Rhode Island. It's big and a little unwieldy, but light enough that I can get it up onto my Subaru alone. In the water, it does everything well except turn. I've taken it in Boston Harbor out past the light, and I've paddled it through 8" deep streams in late summer. It handles both well, and is really very fast. It's also enormous, and can hold lots of gear. The cockpit is roomy. As a wedding gift to my wife, I also built an Oxford Shell sculling single from a kit I bought from CLC. This was my first ever boatbuilding project, and close to my first woodworking experience at all. I was intimidated, but the kits make a ton of sense. All the wood is precut to the right shape, so you don't tend to screw up and waste expensive wood, but it still feels like you're the one who built the boat. If you read the directions carefully and take your time, just about anyone can do it. They're also very good with customer support, both business-wise and with boatbuilding advice. Now that it's done, the boat it absolutely beautiful, and it rows like a dream. The whole thing was accomplished for less than half what a new fiberglass shell would have cost, and for about 1/10th what a comparably beautiful wooden boat would have cost to buy. Can't say enough for these guys!

I have never written a review before but, my experience today was so bewildering and unprofessional…read morethat I feel compelled to let people know. I have shopped at this store before for mouth guards and shin guards and it's always been a fine experience. Today I brought my daughter to buy her first field hockey stick. A young man approached us and it was clear from the get go that he didn't have any real knowledge of field hockey. He kind of stared at the wall of sticks for awhile as said "I think it needs to reach her hip". Then he handed her a stick that was 32" (clearly too small) and said "it should be alright". Sensing that we were "not in good hands" I said, "would it be better if we came back when someone is here who knows field hockey?" He responded "Oh, Erin knows field hockey, she's in the back." I felt relief because my logical assumption was that this knowledgeable person would now come out and help us purchase a Field Hockey stick. Instead, the boy came out again mumbling "she said the sizes are marked on the back of the stick" and handed my daughter a 36.5" stick and said it Iooked fine. At this point I was getting irritated. Ten minutes of my life have just been wasted staring at a huge wall of field hockey sticks that I know range in price and size and the person who knows Field Hockey can't be bothered to come out and help us?? We were the only people in the store! So, at this point I said "Look I'm a little confused. No offense, but you clearly don't seem to know about Field Hockey. Why is the person in back not coming out to help us? I'm kind of irritated. All I want to do is buy my 10 year old daughter a stick. I think we're going to leave". Now this experience would have been chalked up as bewildering if I had just walked out the door. End of story. But, as I was walking out the door, the woman in back emerged! She strode up to me saying "I don't appreciate how you just spoke to him." What??!!! I truly thought she was coming to apologize to me for ignoring us as customers. I've just wasted 15 minutes of my life (with 3 kids in tow) with a teenager who clearly has NO idea how to help me. She then tells me he's new. Well, if he's new to the job, why on earth didn't she come out and show him how to sell a field hockey stick???! Train him! When I protested that I didn't think I was being rude but, didn't understand why she didn't come out to help me- she replied "well, you don't need to buy your stick in this store". Am I crazy? This is a business, right? I truly felt like I had entered an alternate universe. I was the customer. I was ready to purchase something. Shouldn't the knowledgeable salesperson come out and do her job? And then I get told off for mildly expressing my dissatisfaction with the service I received.. This is truly a shame because this is a local business which I would love to support but, now I'll never go back. If this woman is the owner of the store- good luck! But, if she isn't- I truly hope the owner realizes she is an awful manager.
