He also checked the prices for me and informed me about the sales prices. He was very helpful in helping me decide which cost would suit my needs. He explained that all Northface coats and jackets had a lifetime warranty and even items that are Northface, but purchased from another store, could be brought into the store for a warranty claim. At checkout, he offered my 10% off for signing up for emails and the like. Based on the service, selection, quality, and value (especially when sales promotions are on), I am a loyal customer. On my 4th Northface coat and my son is in his 6th since he was a child (now in college) and all of them look and function as good as new. Five stars.

It was kind of painful and took several days to finally get the purchase approved. In any event, the luggage was shipped in a timely fashion and arrived unscathed. Unfortunately, it wasn't exactly what we wanted and some of the features weren't visible via the website so we decided to return it. Since this would have been a fairly large shipment, we checked to see if we could return it to a North face store. The customer sales representative for North face said that we could return it to a North face store but not an outlet that just sells North face items. So, today we made the 2 and 1/2 hour round trip to Annapolis to return the luggage. After parking and schlepping the luggage about a quarter-mile through the mall we found the North face store. The customer service rep at the store then told us we couldn't return it to the store because of an online discount. That didn't make much logical sense since in effect we had paid less than the luggage was worth but we're only asking to be reimbursed for what we had paid. Fortunately, the more senior representative at the store told us that he would ship the luggage back to North face at no cost to us. We just wouldn't be reimbursed until the luggage was received at the warehouse. Not optimum, but certainly better than lugging the shipment back to our house and having to package it ourself. All in all the experience was somewhat frustrating And certainly a waste of a few hours of my life that I will never get back.

They have sales on top of their outlet prices as well but just keep an eye on what they serial is actually on sale such as fleeces instead of the entire store being on additional sale. I came by for a yoga class on a Sunday morning (bring your own mat!). This was hosted by Andrea and attendance was about 15 people and was a very pleasant peaceful start to the morning! The sandals look like they were swallowing my feet. The sandals at this retailer are likely meant more for practicality and comfort rather than their style. I found a second pair of Teva sandals that weren't as wide and fit my feet better. They are not the cutest, but they felt comfortable when I tried them on. The staff are amazing. But my wife has recently become a "backpacker" and I wanted to get her fitted for a legitimate backpack so we made an exception to our black friday rule and went to the only place I would go to locally backpacking and other outdoor gear, River Rock Outfitter Even though the shop was filled with customers, Keith and April, the owners, immediately greeted us. When April finished with her customer she began the process for fitting my with a backpack. This process which included measuring her torso, what type of backpacking it was for day hikes or multiple day/night trips, types of weather, trying on multiple packs (with weigjts in the pack) took approximately 40 minutes, maybe more, but it was such a pleasant experience, it only seemed like minutes. My wife and April found the perfect pack but since it was not in the color my wife wanted, April placed in on order. We'll return in a day or two, try it on again and walk out with an early Christmas present for my wife we will now be able to share and enjoy many more years of backpacking together with a comfortable backpack. Evidence of wear after ONE shift wearing them?! Yeah I highly doubt that wear was from ME. I argue it, asking why they can give me store credit & not my money back. So I call the owner, as instructed by the teeny boppers. NO ANSWER. Left a voicemail. Explained that I live more than 1.5 hours from the store. I got NO RESPONSE. Like EVER. That is the LAST time I go there for shoes. I was told by the teeny boppers that I could take the shoes back home with me, or get store credit. So I'm 1.5 hours away from home, and have accomplished nothing. NO help from the owner. What a waste of time & money! I will NEVER go back to that store. Highly DO NOT recommend buying anything from here!! Let me addend this...if you go to this store, the employees will tell you it's not a problem to return your shoes even if they're worn in a hospital for the 30 day trial period (looking at you Sean). However, they also NEVER mention or point out their return policy (maybe on purpose so they can get the sale?). "The return policy was printed on your receipt" is the response I got when I tried to return them. Well guess what owners? I NEVER would have even bought them had I known what I know now. I bought them because YOUR EMPLOYEE told me they are returnable within 30 days & that I could wear them at work (he knew I worked at a hospital because I specifically mentioned that while trying on multiple different shoes). So if your own employee is misrepresenting or doesn't fully understand your return policy, then I'm expected to?
