Just went for the first time this week, it was really good! I had a turkey burger, I like the option to have something other than beef sometimes. Another person had a burger and anoTHER had the BLAT. Everything was fresh, the employees were really nice glad we went! read more

I had a pretty gross meal here last night. I got fries, a burger and a milkshake. The fries were so salted they were inedible, it was like they spilled salt on them. The milkshake was very watery and came out in a glass hot to the touch. I got crispy onions on my burger and they were overly battered, really hard lumps that didn't even taste like onion. I don't know if it was an off night or what, but I won't be coming back. Very pricey for what I got, I left wishing I had just gone to McDonald's. read more

I feel really ripped off. I paid 14$ for a burger alone, and to get fries was 6 dollars separate which is just insane. I thought a 14$ burger must be legit though so I gave it a shot. After I ordered I realized they never asked how I wanted it cooked. They served me a TINY burger the size of my palm and the patty was extra well done, not how I would have wanted it at all. The burger was ok but totally not worth 14$ and I was hungry again in a few hours. I cant imagine how they stay in business for that price they should serve an adult size burger and throw in some fries. read more

I'm not gonna lie. All the reviews are lies. The burger was mid the water was cold and they told us that they couldn't split our order the Mayonnaise was warm and kind of chunky and the fries tasted like dirt there was close to no salt on the fries and everything was just very bland I was very excited to eat here but I am severely disappointed I got the pulled pork sandwich and the only thing I could tase was the tomato that was on the burger definitely not worth the to 10$ if you are thinking about eating here you are better off going to McDonald's. read more

One of the best burgers I've ever had. The fries are scrumptious and the chipotle aioli is mind-boggling. The have a ton of framed pictures of people named dick on the wall which I think is kinda funny and cool. All the employees there are really nice. The ambiance is great. Btw they have vegan, vegetarian and paleo options so anyone can go. read more

Excellent Service and a filling meal for $18 The large fry was pleasantly seasoned, and largely portioned!! The BYOB was filling. It could use a bit more flavor, but for $10? Not bad at all. read more

Excellent service and food! We will definitely be back. Everything we tried was prepared perfectly.!

This place is literally a joke. Ordered take out. Way overpriced. Fries sold separately. The staff treated me like garbage. The bag, literally, not even kidding, had a name tag on it that said "_______'s bag of dicks". Haha very funny or it would be if I wasn't supposed to trust that the contents of the bag are safe to eat. As if that wasn't enough to indicate that I shouldn't trust the place to provide edible food, which they didn't, the food took extra time to come out and then it was somehow limp and soggy anyways. The burger was elk meat. Kinda just tasted like low quality frozen beef, somehow super rubbery yet not cooked medium, it was bloody. Burgers are traditionally cooked medium and nobody asked me if it was ok with eating rare/raw ground elk meat. More importantly, there was some kind of rock hard substance in literally every bite of the burger, either bones or plastic. I have a pretty high tolerance for chewing on things and I might actually need dental work after eating this. Again it was not just one bite it was throughout the whole burger, I had to spit out little bits of whatever it was 5 times. They obviously don't aim to please and thats something you will notice right off the bat. I honestly feel very dumb for eating here. I guess we don't do smart things when we're hungry. Seems like their patrons just come here to get drunk so if that's your thing maybe just avoid the "burgers" read more

Update: Sorry to owner for saying tofu and not tempeh. I was trying to go easy. The TEMPEH burger was still awful. We eat tempeh too. My husband is a strick vegetarian. Our overalll experience was poor. The staff member that waited on us was confused and not competent. The food was terrible. Overall staff may need more training to make good food. Previous review: We are pretty dissapointed in this place. The service was wierd. The tofu BBQ was not good. It just did not taste good and we eat tofu all of the time. The beef burger was good, but was cooked medium well/well done. The fries were flaccid and should have been cooked longer. Just over all not feeling like we need to run back. read more

Fun allergy friendly eatery. We loved the huge interesting outdoor patio area. Tried a delectable venison burger with the best GF bun. The sweet potato fries were excellent and my husband loved all the burger topping choices and the tasty homemade with care factor. read more

Food was great. A little expensive but damn good. The service was quick and polite. Worth stopping in.

Definitely would not reccomend. I went there with my dad and we both got burgers and sweet potato fries to split. My burger was custom and it was completely inedible. The bun was old, the patty tasted like it had been sitting out for a long time and just left a bad taste in your mouth, so old. Worst burger I've ever had to date. My dad got a burger as well and had the same problem. We couldn't even eat them. I took two bites and had to stop. The fries were bad too. I dont know how they could taste overcooked and undercooked at the same time. They were soggy but really dark. Like they had been sitting out all day and then refried. Its totally overpriced and a waste of money and time. I work in the industry and I hate leaving yelp reviews, but I also hate wasting my money on terrible product. read more

Great customer service! My kiddo accidentally spilled his milkshake everywhere, and they were so gracious and helpful. Very family friendly. Food was great too. Thank you! read more

Fantastic place to grab lunch. We split the poutine and the crispy chicken sandwich. I am absolutely floored that the chicken is gluten free and still crispy, flavorful and juicy. The fries were delicious and the portion was a good size to share. Staff was friendly and the space was well kept with plants And very clean. read more

Another great local keto friendly option! Everything at Dicks is delicious. The fries are fresh and crispy. The ingredients are fresh and of great quality. I absolutely LOVE the keto bun. The burger alone is so filling! read more

I built my own bowl at Dick's a week ago and I keep thinking about how delicious it was! I am a weird person who doesn't like cheese so I appreciated that I could forego the cheese and save $1.50. Most places I have to pay for the cheese that I am taking off the burger/bowl. I ate a kale, Brussels sprouts, and quinoa bowl with chicken, carrots, hazelnuts, cilantro, and balsamic vinaigrette. All things that I enjoy separately but I was surprised how good it all tasted together. My only gripe is that I wasn't able to order online on my phone at least. That being said, I showed up in person and within 5 minutes I was out the door with my food. I also really like the location and overall feeling of the SE Woodstock restaurant. read more

I came in with a large group for my birthday recently and they were very kind, accommodating, patient, and friendly. The food was wonderful and the service even more so! It is a great place to return to for sure! read more

Dick's Primal Burger is my go-to burger place if I want to sit down inside to relax and take my time to enjoy a burger, fries, and milkshake. Plus, they have several beers on tap too. Their menu gives you a choice of what kind of meat, cheese, bun, and extra toppings you want for your burger...or you can order from their list of specialty "Signature" burgers. Plus, you can choose to have your burger cooked to "medium" doneness with a bit of pinkness in the middle (that's the way I like it). Their burgers always have a rich beefy flavor (not all burgers are that beefy tasting). I like their fries and hand-dipped milkshakes too...so that makes three out of three things on the plus side. They have their own private parking lot in back too, which is a major convenience since Woodstock Blvd can be busy sometimes. read more

Burger was 12.50 no fries included. Burger ( Reubenesqe ) itself was Just ok. Not worth 12.50 on its own. Kind of felt jipped when they plopped the plate down . Should include fries. Like most places in PDX , overpriced. Lost a potential weekly customer being it's local to me so ,no I won't be going back. Another dissatisfaction and restaurant crossed off the list. read more

Dick's Primal Burger has a full service kitchen serving local, healthy, fresh sustainable foods and beverages. They offer choices that include gluten free, paleo, vegan, vegetarian, keto and they even accommodate many food allergies. I ordered The Primal, made with grass-fed beef, American cheddar cheese and bacon. The menu offers a multitude of game meat options such as boar, bison and elk to name a few. Their sweet potato fries are amazing and the house made sauce compliments the sweeter profile of the potatoes. read more

Fantastic food! I had the beef and my daughter had the tempeh, we recommend both! They served the fries first which is a perfect idea! Ranch dipping has excellent flavor. Friendly staff. Absolutely love this place and I love that they focus on soy free! Highly recommend read more

Another COVID weekend, another delivery order. But Dick's did a great job! I got the crispy chicken sandwich with a keto bun. As someone with dietary restrictions due to health issues, I really appreciate that they are the only place in town offering a keto bun, it's nice to be able to have that! The sandwich was really tasty! My husband got the Umami burger and said it was also very good. We both had the collard greens for our sides, they were well seasoned and delicious. Our bill was cheaper than a lot places we've ordered delivery from, we really enjoyed this and will order from them in the future!! read more

One of our favorite places in town to get a grass fed burger! Have been going here for years! If you're looking for a place to get awesome burgers and fries, as well as delicious salads, GF chicken nuggets and sandwiches, plus plenty of other awesome menu options, Dick's Primal Burger is for you. Typically great service. Some may feel the prices are a little high. But you get what you pay for and this is great quality food! Nice indoor and outdoor seating too. Great place! read more

Wow. What an amazing place. Choose your patty: Beef? Salmon? Turkey? Impossible? And others Type of bun: GF or Regular? Cheese: Many Toppings: So many to select from Drinks galore! Outdoor seating! I had the Turkey burger, regular bun with Swiss cheese, picketed peppers and onions and Fries. I was so stuffed after lunch that I only had a salad for dinner. These are a few of my favorite things & dicks gets it done. The food was nutritious and the presentation 'awesome.' Occasional customer when passing thru neighborhood. Felt welcomed as always & they were very patient in re-explaining menu. So service was great in addition to being disability welcomed. Family & solo friendly rain or shine! Thanks read more

This play is ok. I like that they rotate their specialty burgers. I think that's fun and unique. The fries are very non exciting. I've had them a couple of times before this last visit and after each visit I say I'm gonna go ahead and give them another try. The burgers are good. But the price for them seems a little steep. The fries aren't anything special at all. I would actually say they are disappointing. Come here once and try a decent burger but be prepared to spend $10 to $12 just on the burger alone. Too many other good burger joints to rate this one high. read more

I was super excited when Dick's opened in Cully especially after enjoying food at Dick's in NW & on Belmont previously. However, I'll likely not go back. Pros: Dedicated gluten free fryer. New Caucasia gluten free bread High quality meats Cons: Soggy, not crisp sweet potato fries Customer service/ knowledge of staff: I called to ask what is in the batter for the chicken nuggets. I was told almond flour. Great! I arrived to pick up my nuggets and asked what else is in the batter. The same person who had answered the phone was working the counter; they didn't know. I asked them to look. They said they didn't know where the ingredient book was. I asked them to find it. They said they'd have to ask their manager; so I asked them to do so. They found the booked; skimmed it and said they couldn't find it. I told them that I needed to know what was in the batter...they looked again, didn't find it; asked the manager, found it, told me the ingredients...no almond flour. I know this isn't a fine dining, white table cloth eatery, but it's good to know the menu especially in a city with people with tons of food allergies and sensitivities, like myself. Not impressed. Also, my housemates ordered food there the same evening. They weren't very impressed either. And, ~$7 for a ~10 oz milk shake?! That's ridiculous. read more

We ordered the Umami burger, Brokeback burger, Notorious PIG burger, fries, Caesar salad, sodas and a milkshake. The guy that took our order was friendly and helpful. He came and checked on us and asked if we wanted soda refills. Everyone enjoyed their burgers. I had the Notorious PIG which was a boar patty with pimento cheese and crispy onions. It was very tasty and not a combo normally seen at burger joints. The fries were good and came with dipping sauces. The Caesar salad was okay. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. We will definitely return to Primal Burger. read more

I am sad to write this review. I like supporting local. I was so excited to try this place, and I get burgers so rarely. I ordered the burger. The build it yourself burger to include all standard toppings. All I can say was the bun was good and the tomato seemed fresh. The burger was so bad. The burger tasted very bland and and dry. Note: I asked for it to be pink inside (so it would not be dry!...it was pink.) I ordered all toppings that it comes with.... the garlic sauce too. It tasted like it was freezer burnt. And they used no flovering or salt. I added salt... then it tasted like a salty, dry bland burger. It certainly not fresh. I will never go back. I had better burgers from Burgerville. This burger tasted so very bad. The bun was good. Never again. Owners, take more pride in your business!! A burger should never taste bland or dry!! Throw away the meat if it was stored too long, add flavoring. I wanted to call Chef Ramsay from Kitchen Nightmares to go in that freezer and throw the stuff away!!! How the heck can you mess up a burger?! read more

Ate there after the Arts festival in Lake Oswego. Great food, good beer selections, wine list, and several cocktails. It doesn't ; look like much but I would call it hidden gem. We had Cobb salads and a BLAT, with an order of fries. All were rated by us as wonderful. I wish we had one in Boise. Would love to try their burgers. They look great. read more

First time going to that place today, POOR SERVICE! They Don't even offer condiments. Clearly told the cashier it was our first time there. So any who I proceed to pay my total amount do of 53.50 including the tip in this amount due and I enter my pin on my card and complete my transaction with no receipt handed to me at all!! to come home and find out that there was an adjustment made to just over 64.00 dollars charged to my card when I did not authorize any additional fees!! So the conclusion is that be careful and check you bank account for them scamming people for money. I know it's not a big difference in money but STEALING is STEALING & just like everyone else I'm struggling to make money myself during this pandemic!! I do not recommend this place at all!! read more

Great food and service! We ordered so close to closing and they were gentle and kind about it. Truly great service and food!

Used the online app and they missed sauces, the bun for the hotdog was rock hard, my GF definitely asked for vegan cheese and she was really impressed with how good it tasted until it made her sick like she gets when she has dairy. I pay $70 for a burger and fry meal as my GF likes the quality products they claim to use and the paleo options for her restricted diet. The lettuce on the burger wrap was so wilted we had to throw it ouWe had to laugh at ourselves for going back again and getting the same sub par food... laughing stopped when her sickness started, she was up all night with stomach issues. Not giving them a chance for the third strike, I'm done. UPDATE; The owner reached out after I posted this and offered to make it right, he seemed to genuinely care that a mistake caused my GF distress and said he was going do more training with employees, lifting them to 3 stars now. read more

This is my first time at the restaurant, I wanna start off with the fact that when I was placing a order with a party of about 4 people the cashier told me she would prefer not to split are order. after we sat down in the back of the restaurant to wait for are food. we waited 45 minutes for are food and when it came out the pulled pork sandwich that I ordered was room temperature/: I didn't finish my meal it wasn't good at all. It was cold and some of the vegetables taste bitter, I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Definitely will not be coming back. Save your money. This place is beyond upsetting I have never had a worse experience, dick's primal burger you guys need to step up the service in the way that you treat your customers. The food was absolutely disgusting. Whoever the manager is needs to speak with their chef and see what's going on. I'm not trying to be rude I'm trying to be honest. Anyways didn't like this restaurant! read more

I got an Uber Eats delivery from Dick's today around noon. The quality of the nuggets improved compared to my last order in early March. So it looks like they took customer feedback and used it to improve the nuggets, which is why I'm upping my review by one star. The nuggets actually are more like tenders now. There are bigger pieces of chicken and it seemed to be more lean meat and not thigh meat. The batter was cooked through more. I'm glad I gave Dick's a second chance. I would order the nuggets again. read more

I have been here four times now, so I've given it a chance because it's one of the few places I can eat. Every time I have been disappointed. The food is not well prepared and doesn't taste good. They do really well is the margarita. The service has never been good. One day I went with my son, and he got his food and I waited 20 minutes for my drink, and then my food came. The last time I went (3 days ago), I ordered a bowl with chicken. There was about a quarter inch of watery liquid at the bottom. Have they not heard about slotted spoons? The chicken tasted like cardboard. Like it had been flattened, grilled, and frozen for 12 months, thawed, warmed, and served. I don't know what they're doing. Instead of masquerading as a restaurant who cares about offering salads and bowls, they should just focus on their burgers. Every time we ordered fries, they were not hot and were limp, tough, and chewy. I think they need to go back to the drawing board with their ingredients, their flavorings, and their preparation. As for ambience, it's cold, cold, cold. I had to wear my hoodie and my winter jacket and give my knitted cap to my husband and put my hood up. So unpleasant. Oh, and the vegan shake was room temperature and we just left it. read more

The French fries were meh. The chocolate shake and burger were ok. What wasn't ok was the price for the bland and basic.

Ordered impossible burger, sweet potato fries, and a milkshake. $30. Oof. The milkshake was probably the best but burger and fries were skip worthy, especially for that price. (Empathetic to inflation but should also be a tasty quality item) read more

My boss took his entire staff here on a "Team Building" lunch. I had never been here before since it is out of my normal travel path. What a fantastic experience. I would recommend this place if you are in the area. Great people, great atmosphere. read more
