We used to get his cleats from Omega but they closed. We went to the big box stores but his feet are 11.5 and most of their models ended at size 10 or 11! Frustrated, we located Soccer Post online. How had we never heard of it before!? You could tell the employees, though young, are probably soccer players themselves and were very helpful. They had a much wider selection of shoes than the big box stores ranging in price from very reasonable to top tier expensive. There was even a space in the middle of the store where you could kick around a ball to try the shoes out. My son is very happy with the shoes we purchased and says he wants to buy all his future cleats at Soccer Post.

I made an order to have my shoes drop shipped and it was estimated that they should arrive by Tuesday. Jacob was great! I tried to link up the account I made at the store so I could track my order and get my loyalty points. But the website said I had to make a new account. Once the account was made it did not pull over any of the info from the account I made in the store. On Thursday my order had not arrived and I returned to the store to check the status of my order and try to resolve the problem with my account. I stood by the register for a while and eventually a young man came by and asked if I had a pickup, I showed my receipt and questioned if it was a store pickup. He said it was a drop ship and walked away. I was in the middle of trying to ask if he could help with my account or at least confirm the status of my order when he suddenly left. He was speaking to other customers who came in after me, and I waited a a few minutes but it was clear he wasn't coming back and I left the store without my account being fixed or my order status.

This place has lots of great things that runners need, desire, and dream of having. It's located on the corner of a busy shopping complex so parking can be a challenge at times. There is a lot to see when you first walk in to the store. They have a shoe wall that is full of goodies. The staff is always friendly and ready to assist with any questions, needs, and concerns. The only thing I hate to report is that I feel they are fairly expensive. I understand they're running shoes cost more than average walking shoes but the prices are kind of steep, in my opinion. I find that the price you would pay for something as small as a water bottle jack it could cost you a little over $100. Again I'm sure their prices are probably right in line with the industry but it was a little too much for my budget. When you stop by be sure to visit their community wall. I wanted some expertise in picking out a running shoe. I got that help and genuinely nice customer service. He gave me his full attention and spent a lot of time with me. I was expecting to pay a little bit more than the big box sporting goods store that I previously bought my running shoes from, but the prices were about the same. They had a good variety of running shoes from full support to bare foot running styles. They also carry accessories (like hydration systems), runner's gels, 26.2/13.1 stickers, and running clothing. The excellent service, competitive prices, and the fact that the store is locally owned all make me a huge fan. I loved this store and will return every time I need a new pair of shoes or running gear!
