Jesus' service was phenomenal. Brisket hit the spot after being out of Texas for two months!

Worst barbecue in Texas. Ribs were so dry and the brisket also. Turkey was good. Not recommending this location.

OK, be forewarned! The food is delicious and the servings are generous! Every month our club meets…read morefor lunch at a local restaurant, we started after Covid as a way to support the community and so many places that were struggling. Four years on and we still enjoy doing it. This month was back to an old favorite, Fire Craft BBQ. Owner and head pit master, David Welch puts his heart and soul into the products his restaurant turns out. Not only that, there is a lot of variety and specialty dishes on the menu that most other BBQ places don't serve. We had 14 in our group and were able to pull together some tables and chairs in the large additional dining room they added not long after opening. The room is clean and well lit, big ceiling fans keep the air moving. Our group ordered a variety of things; I had the brisket hamburger with a side of the very southern yellow squash casserole. My wife had the chopped beef sandwich with fries and another friend had the chicken plate with beans and coleslaw. Others had their tocos and other sandwiches, one had the ribs. We were all full and happy when we finished. What 's nice is David came by to check on us and make sure everyone was happy, not many owners take that kind of personal attention.

The restaurant was spacious, clean, not too crowded and the wait to order was not long at all. We approached the register to place our order and the young lady at the register wasn't the friendliest. No hello, no smile, just a stare. We wanted ribs but were told they sold out, however we heard another employee saying they had a batch coming off the pit. I also tried to order the pinto beans and she said those were sold out as well. We found a table and waited about 10 mins or so for our food to be delivered do our table. We ordered a chopped chicken sandwich, baked potato, Mac n cheese, baked beans, corn spoon-bread, and brisket. Most of the items were really good and freshly made. Baked beans were just okay, reminded me of pork n beans. The spoonbread had great texture but lacked flavor. Although the cashier wasn't the most pleasant, the manager made up for the lacking customer service. He could be seen walking around the restaurant interacting with customers and asking about their experience. Overall it was a pretty good experience!
