We had to clear our own table because I only saw one waitstaff running around. We were finally told we can look at the menus and order at the front. I knew I wanted the po-boy and that is what I ordered, my wife got the shrimp basket, and our daughter ordered the steak finger basket. Our meal took a while to come out and what came out was not a shrimp po-boy. It was a shrimp sandwich on Texas toast. I looked at it and told the server that is not a po-boy. She said they were out of the hoagie rolls and that was a sub for the bread it would have been courteous to let me know before I ordered this that this was what was being offered. Unfortunately I had to send it back and order the basket instead and I do not like doing that. No tartar or ketchup was sent out with the meal and had to ask for it. They sent out room temperature tartar sauce in an already handled bottle by other guests which to me was not very sanitary. Will not be back. The fixins were fresh, crisp and quality- not an afterthought. I was pretty thirsty so the refills were a welcome bonus. The hamburger patty was huge and seasoned perfectly for my taste. As I think back on the meal as a whole I've got to say it was the best burger I've had in Baytown in a long time. Finally waiter came and randomly asked "are you being attended to", basically telling us nobody has been assigned to your table. I forgot the name of dish I took, but their fried banana and chips tasted very good. They also serve beers with cheep price, $2 for a domestic bottle and $3 for imported. The owners (who also are the cook and wait staff) were very friendly and helpful in assisting me in making my meal choices. I never had Salvador food before, but everything I tried over the weekend was delicious.
