After paying $21.52 at the window, I was instructed to pull forward and wait for my food to be brought out. Normally, being asked to pull forward would make me think the food was being made fresh, so I had no issue waiting. However, once we drove off and opened the food, the experience was very disappointing. The chicken sandwich was cold, the pickles were missing, and the fries had an overwhelming amount of seasoning to the point they were almost unbearable to eat. What makes this even more disappointing is that my only previous experience with Bojangles was at the Charlotte, North Carolina airport location, and the food and customer service there were excellent. Based on this experience in Baytown, it appears this store's staff may need additional training on food quality, accuracy, and hospitality. Honestly, if service and food quality continue at this level, I do not see this location lasting long in the area. Due to this experience, I will not be returning to this store again for any reason.
