Uh uh ... I'll give it a two out of five because the food is below ordinary but it's edible - brisket was dry and I had to hit it with salt (2/5) - turkey is ok. It has a smoky flavor and is moist enough. (3/5) - wings lacked flavor they could use some salt and pepper maybe some garlic powder ... something. I ordered sweet bbq sauce and go no bbq sauce. The wings were dry, hard, and not a pleasant experience (1/5) - chili seemed more like beans that were cooked chili style if that's possible (1/5) - the cole slaw tastes like cole slaw (2/5) - mac n cheese ... please stop it. It tastes like noodles that were cooked and tossed with cheese sauce. It was giving mac n cheese from a box (-5000 / 5) - I didn't try the baked beans or green beans ... after the mac n cheese I was just exhausted and had enough of Dickey's shenanigans Not great and the food just tasted like it lacked seasoning. Website issues on ordering. Mobile app not functioning as well. Called in order, she couldn't get my order 4 times.and understand kids eat free on Sunday. At "restaurant" order was not ready and they had to search for it. Had to reorder everything. Get home brisket cold, pulled pork cold, green beans damn SALTY, onions strings very good, beans good. I do not recommend this Dickeys location. Just sad with COVID causing places to close...this location should be closed because of the food quality, food temperature, food taste. FIRST OF ALL, you have to go all the way to the end to the super high ridiculous counter and talk to the old man with the ridiculous hat (aren't "men" supposed to take off their hats inside buildings? whatever!) It would be BETTER if they ALL WORE HAIR NETS to be SANITARY! Me trying to order: "Can I have the meal of the day that's online?" Old man: "The only meal I know is that one on the board! (and yes, he is being an @ssh01e and raising his voice to me!) "I don't know what you're talking about!" Me looking for the "nice" lady who had helped me last time I was there, and she really was nice, but not today! Blonde older lady with the sparkly mask, not the nicest tone: "You will have to show me online what the deal is!" Me getting out my phone and SHOWING HER the $3 pulled pork sandwich saying, "I would like seven sandwiches." Blonde older lady with the sparkly mask -rolling her eyes at me and making a nasty sigh! This place is ridiculous on there pricing. My daughter went up there for 4 large baked potato casseroles and 4 large green beans so we wouldn't have to cook sides being it's Mother's Day. The total was $98, when I looked it up on the website it said a large is $6.99. I then called to speak to manager and verify it wasn't a mistake cause it seemed very high. I was told there is no manager and owner isn't there. She charged my daughter $6.99 8 times cause according to the lady there larges are actually $13. She said they do not go off of the pricing that is website. They make there own pricing. I'm calling bullshit and they are screwing people over and don't feel bad about it. I will never go to This place again. Then when I told her I was going to leave a review, she asked me not to guilty conscious is my guess. They deserve negative stars read more

I really like to come in on occasion and get the turkey - it really tastes good and is low in fat but high in protein. Protein fills you up. Now, of course the sugar in the BBQ sauce can be a problem but honestly the turkey is so good I use a minimal amount of sauce. John, my friend and colleague (FJ) tells me the prices are also good here. read more

Disappointing. Ordered 2 plates to go with dessert. The meat was good and plentiful. The onion strings were over cooked. The Texas toast was a slice of dried out bread, no toasting. The cole slaw had good flavor. They gave us the wrong sauce (spicy instead of sweet- ugh) on both plates. I paid $3.95 for a tiny little bowl of peach cobbler. The chocolate chunk cookie was good. Was hoping to be pleasantly surprised and have another place to grab take out on the way home from work, but I won't be back. Again, disappointing. The "Social Team" responded and said they were "sorry to hear about your negative experience" and asked for my contact info. But after reading the other reviews, going back more than a year, I'm not the only person disappointed in my experience, yet it seems nothing has changed in that year. Had a baker w/ meat and cheese-the good=the meat was good and plentiful..the cheese came in a little half cup(not worth the upcharge) onion strings(although not plentiful) were good..and the 'southern sweet tea' was not sickenly sweet like so many other restaurants,so kudos to the person that mixes the tea! read more

I love Dickey's BBQ. Visited multiple locations while vacationing in Dallas. The food was great quality barbecue, lean, delicious smoked flavor meat. Brisket and pulled pork are top notch. My daughter loved the turkey. Great sides - okra was awesome. This location lost one star because right in the middle of eating our lunch a HUGE cockroach ran across the floor. This was the middle of the afternoon, and other tables had patrons eating as well. Was surprised to see it bold enough to scurry amongst that many people and made me wonder if there weren't a lot more. The manager or owner (a female), came in the store with her children & immediately started handling food behind the counter without wearing gloves or ever touching soap or water. The food at the Garland-Firewheel location is very good. I love BBQ so it's nice to find a store that makes good quality food. The brisket was tender and very flavorful not as much of a smoke ring as I like but that's just me. The Sausage was on point and not overcooked. Now for the cons.... The staff greeted me as soon as I walked in which is what's expected and they were all smiles and kind greetings. The problem and I don't blame the staff as much as I do the corporate website. The online account creation is broken. So online ordering is a HUGE hassle. This is the first time I have been asked for a Lic plate of the vehicle picking up the order. I place MANY online curbside orders with other restaurants and this is a first. When I arrived at the location I looked at the handy dandy little tracking app and it showed my order had been delivered to the customer. I wonder who my order had been delivered to that has the same car with the exact same Lic Plate. Also, I mind you I arrived 2 mins earlier than the recommended arrival time of 12:30. At 12:33 I walked into the store to request my curbside order. They happily handed me my order while standing inside the store and not at the curbside as requested and even printed on my receipt. Been to this location several times, and the staff is always friendly! I've been using a coupon book that my husband gets from work, no problem. The dining area is clean, and I like the free Ice cream cone! Best meats: ribs, sliced brisket, jalapeno sausage, and sliced turkey Best sides: fried okra, baked potato casserole I think the rolls are flat and small, and could be improved. The Dickies barbecue on Buckingham road is price gouging on their meat regular price on a pound of brisket is 15.99 .They 1st tried to charge me 27 dollars then they said no we went up 4 dollars on a pound of brisket.So they tried to charge me 22.99 when in reality the price is 15.99 on a pound so it was 6 dollars more. So I took my business to the Plano Rd location. Yes I did pay regular price at that location. read more

Ive been here many times, and the food quality has been bad to average. My last visit was absolutely the worst roast barbecue beef I've had in 60 years. It was 95 percent fat and sliced to 1 inch by 1 inch sticks, like they had never seen sliced beef before. Sandwich bun was hard. Im just amazed how bad this brand has gotten. read more

I don't see the point of claiming you guys have "delivery". I ordered a family meal and ordered it as a delivery, the email said it would be at my house by 7:15. I call to see what is going on with my order because it is now 7:45. I'm told that they don't deliver passed 2 o clock? What is the point of saying you guys deliver on your website if you will not deliver? My food has been waiting cold for an hour. The least your staff could do is give us a call that it is ready if they don't deliver. If you guys don't deliver past 2, don't have the option online past 2. The lady on the phone hung up on me and was in such a sarcastic tone, like it's my fault that your website doesn't specify that. Although they were good, $6 for a medium side is ridiculous. I had three medium sides and paid $18. I could have had a rib plate and a drink for about the same price. read more
