The food wasn't great as it had been in the past. On this occasion, I went with my wife and two kids. Service was slow and impolite. Bathrooms could've used tidying up. My main concern of the visit was with the preparation of the meats. I treated my family last month to the Garland Cheddar's. My daughter had a hot sandwich, and enjoyed how the cheese was gooey. However, my Country Fried Chicken was substandard, due to the fact that there was so much breading that I could barely taste any meat. The ratio was really off. Came here on a Sunday afternoon with a party of 8 and were sat in about 20 minutes. Our server was kind, informative, and patient with us. The steaks were not really cooked to our liking-one person sent the steak back bc it was too pink. But it all tasted good. The rolls were a pleasant surprise and we enjoyed them! We hadn't been to a Cheddar's in a while, as there were so many service and food issues, so we gave up and just stayed away. But this past weekend, we thought they deserved another try. We asked for a good server, and did they deliver! We were seated right away. Alliyah was our server, and was terrific from start to finish! She had good energy, was kind, and had answers for our food questions! Such a bonus these days! We ordered our beverages and an appetizer. She brought us two incredible, flaky, golden croissants with their signature honey butter... oh, man, these are so delicious, warm, and leave you wanting more (they know how to keep you coming back! lol). The Wisconsin Cheese bites are OMG good! They were lightly breaded and cooked to perfection; these are a "must have" if you've never tried them! For dinner, we ordered the DIJON CHICKEN & MUSHROOMS: two grilled chicken breasts with honey Dijon sauce and sautéed sliced mushrooms over seasoned rice; doesn't that sound amazing? It WAS delicious, and a generous portion too! Also, the CHICKEN TENDER PLATTER: hand-breaded chicken tenders (made to order). They were perfectly cooked and oh-so-tender. I chose the honey hot; it had a little kick, but the flavor was spot on! The tenders have always been a favorite of mine (at CHEDDAR'S)! Misses: It would have been nice to have small plates for the croissants and the cheese bites, both of which were brought out by other staff. We noticed that when the support staff cleaned tables, they didn't take time to clean the small wireless menu/game device on each table. They all looked filthy and greasy. We didn't want to touch ours (see pics) Overall, we were very pleased! The food was fresh, flavorful, and served hot! We hope this is a sign of our repeat visits, as there are quite a few things on the menu that I would love to have again, such as the ribs, shrimp, pot pie... and their fabulous desserts! The to-go staff here is always great. I'm a courier driver, and this spot is conveniently on my route. Sometimes I stop in just for sides and a mango tea :-) to hold me over. About a week or two ago, a gentleman helped me in the evening, and today I came in again after working both my day job and side gig, too tired to cook. Even though it was close to closing, the young lady who took my order was extremely helpful and patient. We had a group of 16. They don't take reservations for large groups but If you show up on the early side of dinner time it will probably work out for having everyone sitting at one long setup. Having everyone showing up on time helps as they don't seat parties until half of them are there. A fair compromise I think and better than having to wait for the total seating to arrive. Food is good for home style comfort food and our service was stellar. Leave them a good tip because they will be working diligently throughout your dinner making sure you have everything you need. read more

A couple of people had 2 large dogs sitting in the booth in the bar area with them, the dogs were not on the floor, but on the seats of the booth. The dogs were eating off the people's plates on the table. The staff saw it happening and nobody said anything, they just let it happen. They did not have service animal harnesses on and even then, a responsible service animal owner would never allow that at a restaurant. Service animal dogs would not behave like that. Disgusted they were allowed to eat off the plates of the people that were with them. Also shocked that none of the staff cared to say anything to them. I don't care how much you clean the plates, we are not going to eat off plates any animal also eats off them. read more

We always loved Cheddars with it's wonderful atmosphere and décor, not to mention the food. The problem I have is more customer related than Cheddars fault. The customer behavior is trash. They are dressed in pajamas and house-shoes and worse. Cheddars enforces no dress codes. There is also very loud, continual, obnoxious talking-screaming, more like a bar. Driven away from our favorite restaurant, we don't go anymore, there are other places to eat. read more

The atmosphere was welcoming, and our waitress, Helen D., was a literal ray of sunshine--super friendly, helpful, and honestly, way too pretty to be working around queso all day. The Food: First up, let's talk about those honey butter croissants they bring you. O-M-G. These things are little fluffy clouds of perfection. You can tell the butter and bread are top-tier, and the sweet-and-buttery combo will have you plotting ways to sneak extras into your purse. But don't unless you want your purse ruined! For Starters: We got the Trio Sampler: * Chicken tenders: Juicy and flavorful. Solid. * Spinach dip: Absolute fire. I could eat this by the spoonful and still want more. * Queso (added beef): Meh. I wouldn't order it again--especially when those croissants are sitting there calling my name. If I'm spending calories, I'm spending them wisely. Had a wonderful dinner at Cheddar's recently after not having been back in a few years . Cheddar's was my first "real" job back in my teenage days so it's very close to my heart! This location is spacious, clean, and friendly. I wish I remembered the name of our server who was very kind and accommodating. We ordered the spinach dip, honey butter croissants (absolutely love), the chicken fried chicken and two sides (mashed potatoes and green bean casserole). Every single item came out hot and timely. Cheddar's has been a tradition for my friends and me since high school. Our experiences have always been great with food, service, and ambiance; this location was no different. We came 45 mins before closing, but the server was super friendly and treated us like regular customers. We quickly ordered our food so the kitchen can make it in the time since it closes at 9:30. Our server brought out a couple of croissants for our table since the first round is on them, and I really appreciate it. It was my friend's first time at Cheddar's and he was VERY IMPRESSED. The food took a bit longer than usual (20 mins?), but everything looks good and delicious. My 6oz sirloin was smaller than I expected, but it was cooked perfectly at medium rare. The portions are so big that I remember to the point that my friend had to take home leftovers for the first time! I also got a strawberry lemonade with free refills, and the server brought it out quickly while cleaning up the restaurant. Overall, I love Cheddar's and I'm glad this location is also the same as our usual one back in Kansas. Prices have increased over the years, but they are not expensive as other restaurants or some fast food places. Came here with about 10 people and the service was great. There wasn't a long wait for food and the waitress was attentive. We were able to pay using their machine and they easily split up the checks. I had the chicken strip meal and it was a large portion so I was able to take half of it with me to go. My bill was $14.27, so I had already decided a $3 tip was good. After she kept my change, I elected to only leave her $2. If I could give zero stars I would. We ordered curbside pickup and the food was very mediocre. But for dessert we ordered the cookie monster dessert. I clearly stated in my order NO PEANUTS. It was clearly on the sticker of the container and it was on the receipt. Why were there still peanuts on the ice cream!!!! My child has a peanut allergy that will send him into anaphylaxis shock which can kill him if not taken to the ER fast enough. If my son would have started eating it without me checking it first because i just "trusted" cheddars to actually read the order request and actually do their job, my son would have been in the ER that night. I have requested a call back from Cheddars but let's see if that will even happen. We will not be going there anymore, at all or ever!!! Their lack of care and oversight will get them a lawsuit if they continue down this path. So very irresponsible! read more

Ordered 2 baby back rib meals about 2 months ago, ordered 2 French fries, that equals 4 orders of fries, we received 2, did the survey to complain, no response. Went back yesterday and ordered the same, went inside to tell the "manager " wanting my extra fries, he wouldn't comply with out a receipt. Now, if I had kept the receipt and showed him there is no proof on that receipt that I was not given the full order. Cheddars did steal from its customer. read more

I would avoid this Cheddar's. We came in and was seated in the bar area. We waited 20 min before getting up and asking to be seated elsewhere. The hostesses argued the waitress would be right over. We asked to speak to the manager so we could be seated at a table with a waitress that wasn't already in the weeds. The manager Allene was rude and unapologetic that we had waited for 20 minutes without anyone coming over. There was staff sitting on the bench by the hostess stand on their phone. None of these people care about the customers. I would choose another place to eat. We finally got seated in another section with Margarita, she did a excellent job. read more
