Remember, this place has been on national TV before...extremely consistent, hot and fresh steak fingers that can't be beat! I'm glad I was in the Midland-Odessa area because we made a trip just to Andrews for Buddy's. The $20 basket can be shared. The gravy is great and so are the fries and slaw. And frankly this is the best steak kabob, rice pilaf, and fries that I've had in a long time. It beyond hits the spot! Where we went wrong, however, is by ordering it for pickup via DoorDash, as that is what comes up as an option via Google. I am disabled and currently very sick so I sent my husband to pick it up for me and when he got there, they said they had the order and that it would be right out. The manager brought the food out and asked him if he would be paying with cash or card. When my husband explained it was prepaid via DoorDash, her friendly demeanor changed and she LAID INTO HIM about how "you DoorDash drivers know better than to come in here like customers! You are supposed to go in the other entrance and pick up your orders there!" He explained he wasn't a driver for DoorDash and didn't know anything about that because it was a pickup order for his wife but she couldn't care less. It's too bad the food is so good because if you treat my husband poorly, we aren't coming back to keep giving you our money in the future. Please fix how you treat people! Even if he was a DoorDash driver, that behavior was uncalled for! Everyone has feelings and it's still money coming into your business!

The reason it missed the 5-star mark with me was our waitress was slow to do everything. Even with taking our drink order. Then our food order. The worst was waiting for my final bill. And then she forgot our takeout box for my youngest. I don't know why she didn't have a greater sense of responsiveness with our party of 3, but it was like this the entire duration of our meal on July 25, 2026. It was super frustrating! The other reason I knocked off a star off was because the towel dispenser was depleted in the lone restroom. I had to flag down an employee with drenched hands. THE PROS I called about 20 minutes ahead of time to reserve a table because I knew this brassiere was on the small side. The lady on the phone was courteous and professional. If you have a hot date, I highly recommend reservations particularly in the evening. This seems like that sort of place. When we arrived, I found free street parking a short walk away. We were promptly greeted and seated. To enter the restaurant, you must go inside the Frost Bank tower's lobby, but to exit there is a door just beyond the bar. This place has beautiful, eclectic decor. The bar area was somewhat rounded and has an easygoing, but classy feel to it. THE FOOD The ambiance is what made this a great mother/daughters brunch date. The food sets it apart from the majority of restaurants in this oil industry town. The have East Coast-sourced oysters on the menu! These are far superior to their West Coast counterparts. I would have opted for these for our app if it weren't for my minions, I mean children. Pigs in a Blanket ($15.00) - yet another appetizer my daughters pigged out on that I didn't get to try. And they said they weren't that hungry! Lies all lies. They looked divine with nicely cooked juicy sausage and everything seasoning on the pastries. Avo Toast ($11.50) - my newly-turned teen daughter and I both had our own. I opted for eggs over easy which were cooked nicely. She oddly chose scrambled eggs for her, but she ate pretty much all of it. Smashed Burger ($17) - my youngest had this and said it was excellent. Nice touch with an American flag planted into the top bun. For the umpteenth time she did not share a fry with me. It is what it is. Mocha latte ($5.00) - my youngest's birthday which I will be missing since she'll be visiting her father is coming up so this was a treat for her. I tried it. Quite good after being thoroughly stirred. 1988 Martini ($18) - pricey but oh so good. The olives stuffed with bleu cheese were not bad. Imagine going to Brooklyn and the only pizza joint available is Little Ceasar's and you have some idea of my general level of barbecue frustration. I spent 14 hours in mouth watering anticipation and was anxious to get eating. At noon, I loaded myself and my mother into the car and bee-lined for the location indicated on their post. When I pulled up, there were no other cars there, which is a shame. After all, if we don't support local restaurants, we deserve all the mass produced chain crap that we get. I ordered a 1 neat plate (brisket) and my mother got a 1 meat plate (ribs) for a total of $20. Each plate had about 3/4 to 1 lb of meat, a cup of potato salad and a cup of pinto beans. First, the sides. The potato salad was a mustard type (the ONLY kind, in my opinion) and was just about the most delicious potato salad I've ever had. It was at least the best I've had lately. The beans were generously seasoned and loaded with large chunks of pork. As a guy who spent 49 years hating beans, the fact that I ate every last drop if this magical legume concoction is pretty amazing. On to the meat. My brisket had a smoke ring about 1/2" thick with a crunchy, smoky bark and a no-nonsense, beefy flavor. No reason to gild the lily with ridiculously complex rubs. These guys keep it classic with the brisket and let the meat do the heavy lifting. If I had any complaint, it would be that I would really have enjoyed some meat from the fattier point to moisten up the leaner, drier flat. Otherwise, I recommend this joint to all die hard carnivores as well as recovering vegetarians. The truck can be located on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the Tractor Supply parking lot and on Wednesdays on South Main Street across from Love's Convenience Store. Check 'em out!

Some of the others had brisket that was dry and crumbly. It did not have a good Smokey flavor, and had a slight taste like it was cooked on propane. The meat I did get was more like a fat pot roast. The turkey was your basic deli processed turkey and was mushy. The sausage I am still trying to identify. It was tan in color with little flavor and the texture was way off. The beans were your standard Ranch Style Beans that were jazzed up a little. The potato salad was basically mashed potatoes. Im confident I will not attempt to eat this food again.
