This place was awesome until my experience today which is why I am reviewing. I have been to this location at least 20 times since it has opened and every experience was great until now. I always get a chicken bowl with all the helpings. However I wanted olives on the side because I was taking the order to go and the lady said that would be an extra charge for a side of olives and I asked why since I have asked for this on the side before and NEVER was an issue. Her response "our containers we use are expensive which is why if you want something on the side we charge you for the container". ARE YOU KIDDING ME! Their containers don't even have their logo on it. I'm being charged extra for a small container to hold my olives. That is ridiculous! This place just went down for a UNNECESSARY charge. I go to school across the street and grab something to eat every day after class so I got really excited when I saw that there was a diced across the street because I've been to the coral way location and really liked it except that I had paid for avocado and only got one slice that's it. So this time I let the cashier know what upset me last time and to please not let it be a repeat. I ordered a steak wrap with avocado, corn, lettuce, white rice, peppers, guava vinaigrette and cucumber. They forgot the cucumber and the lettuce, there were only peppers on half, the wrap was in half and there was one slice per half (at least time it was two slices) and very little steak. In other words I paid $11 for a wrap of pretty much white rice and corn. I love the guava sauce which is the only reason I give them 2 stars but I won't be coming back to this location. read more

My boyfriend was the one who suggested this place since it's a block away from his house and right in front of miami dade college. I was getting out of class and we decided to eat here. The menu is extremely simple to order from which I love because crazy menus make me overwhelmed. You pick your protein, I prefer chicken (I hate chicken and they make it so good I can't resist). Pick your style, I always get bowl, my boyfriend likes the salad. And pick assorted veggies and cheese. I love the fact that it's no guac and instead it's diced up avocados (so healthy). Getting all three sauces is a MUST gives it that nice touch. (I call it the triple sauce). They have great smoothies. They're eco friendly which is amazing and VERY clean and healthy. This place is amazing. Ever since that first visit I've ordered for delivery several times Speaking of, delivery is extremely fast. Like 20-30 mins tops. They tell you an hour and they always come in half the time. So I love that. The worst service i have ever received in my life. The girls in the front were so unfriendly, rude, snotty and mean. I never complain about customer service because i get it being at work all day sucks but they were just terrible.. I asked for no tomatoes and they accidently but them on.. Ok no problem, so i inform the young lady about them and she looks at me and says "So what you want me to remake this whole bowl..?" and i respond with yes im sorry, and she just rolls her eyes and walks away with such a sour attitude. Gotta love this place. The only restaurant in the area serving healthy food. I work mostly late nights and have it close to 3x per week. Even then I end up eating at their other locations for lunch. I've been here a few times. It's trendy healthy eating with good flavors. Decor is nice and modern. The staff has always been friendly. The food is reasonably priced. Everything they give you is recyclable which is a nice twist. Only reasons they did not get 5 stars is the non option for skin on the chicken and no fountain drinks. Had to pay extra for additional sauce which is acceptable. Food has been fresh the times I've gone. Definitely a great lunch spot. This place is very very underwhelming. First off, their menu is slightly hard to understand and I wanted a salad with one scoop of rice which seemed impossible to order. I have not been before and asked what came in the veggie as I was not looking to eat unhealthy but it seems that the veggie choice just kind of like the protein option versus had an enhanced vegetarian option. I then decided that chicken and steak would've been a little heavy so I went with the tuna option and took it to go. On their menu they show a picture of a tuna. Like many of these healthy restaurants that are popping up everywhere including poke places I assumed that I was going to either be getting seared I he tuna or raw tuna and yet was served tunafish. This is neither healthy or fits with the theme of the restaurant. The menu should clearly state that it's tuna salad and I have a picture of a tuna as many people will be assuming they are getting a better product. Nothing seems freshly prepared except the sauces. I have eaten here about 5 times now. The food is pretty good and the flavor is consistent. The portions though are not very consistent. I typically order a salad with spinach and it is hit or miss on how much spinach you will actually get. Despite that I really like the place. Everything you would want as a meal conveniently chopped into a bowl. It is a thousand times better than any of those poultry kitchens that also serve chopped chicken with rice. After dining on this restaurant about three times, I believe I can provide some idea of the experience in Dice. Location & Ambiance: The edifice is located near south ofMDC Kendall campus at walking distance. The plaza is fairly tight in terms of infrastructure and parking. Entering the front door you'll notice the area is well light. There are cushioned seats by the walls, and stools by the center of the dining area. For The most part, everything is kept clean and organized. Service: When ordering, you have the choice of dining in or takeout. If you dine in, you'll be seated and an employee will bring your meal once it is ready. If you order takeout, they'll provide you a lid for the container and a bag. Every time you make an order above around $8, you'll receive a star. Once you gain ten stars, your next order will be $10 off. One of the unfortunate aspects is the fact that they only provide forks. I'm very accostumed to eating with more than two different utensils, since it is very uncomfortable for me to pick up food with only a fork and take small bites. Worst case scenario, you might need to bring your own utensils. As for the employees, they seem somewhat morose and slightly grumpy sadly. Though as long as you make your delivery presentable, they won't bite back. Otherwise, add a small nickel to their jars to lighten their mod a bit. Nevertheless, they still do their job fairly well. Food Quality: As of now, I have only orderd the chicken bowl with brown rice, black beans, spinach, tomatoes, onions, corn, and tomato basil sauce. The quality is somewhat variable, but overall above average. If your unlucky you might have burnt sections of a piece of chicken. Most of the times though the chicken is authentic, tender, and fairly lean. Better yet is the freshness of the salad condiments. Other than that, there is no special cuisine involved. The best aspect of the bowls though are the proportions. Too many times in restaurants I was convinced of the vivid presentation of the meals in the menus, only to have a pound of cooked wheat and no protein. The ratios between rice, beans, salad, sauce and protein is spot on! Value: At first glance, having a 7"x 7" bowl for around $10 doesn't seem that pleasing. Let alone, their bottled water seems to also be overpriced. However, what the menu doesn't mention is that you can order a bowl with the larger salad bowl for an extra $1, drastically increasing the value proposition! However, I'm not sure if this applies for the wraps. Overall, Diced isn't really anything special; yet they seem to do that really nicely. Despite the mentioned issues, it's a small glimmer of hope in contrast to the larger fast-food chains. read more
