This time we called ahead to get orders in to make sure the rush didn't beat us to dinner and boy was it worth it. Sam working the front of house provided great service, friendly with checking and had some good tips on what to order after asking some questions. We order some cheese bread to enjoy as I considered what I wanted. Dipping sauces too, everything is made in-house and the ranch and vodka sauces were awesome. The pizzas are 10 inch, individual sized which meant we could make separate, different choices. I went with the Queen with vodka sauce adding pepperoni and sausage, it was yummy. A typical kind of pizza for sure, but that's a really good gauge on dough, sauce, etc cause I have has lots of pizzas with similar listed ingredients. And this had really good flavor! A few spots where air bubbles created very thin areas were cooked more than looks great but the bit of oaky flavor was fantastic. My friend Sean got something really unique, something he had thought about before when he was there but he regularly orders other things. We were both intrigued by the idea of a loaded potato pizza and I am so glad that he went for it and shared! I seriously will be craving it. So unique with the garlic herd cream sauce, and it was a good call to add sausage. They have a full bar, make frozen custard, and more. The interior is small, with some cool murals on the walls. I hadn't been to downtown Waterloo but it's nice. There were some fun murals but in an old downtown area with lots of shops nearby and murals to check out too.

The staff are friendly and welcoming. You order drinks at the bar and food at the food window near the back. They have a large selection of beers and cocktails. There is are easy to read, large signs with the beers and drinks on the menu. The bartenders are helpful if you want more info about the style of beer. There is plenty of bar seating and a large area with tables. When the weather is nice I love the patio! Several large tables, a nice fountain and large tree to provide some shade. I have also tried many things on the menu and the must try is for sure one of their pizzas! Perfect size for two people to split. They have a range of your typical toppings and some that are unique. They are all delicious and I especially love the crust! Pizza and beer on the patio! Perfection!

We enjoy sitting upstairs or on the back patio in nicer weather - so many options for a get-together with friends. Service at the bar and the food service counter are excellent. Staff are friendly and always have helpful suggestions. We recently came for Sunday lunch the week of Christmas, and there wasn't much of a crowd. This was great for a relaxed lunch with the kids and brother visiting from out of town. Plenty of seating! There are kid-friendly options here, with the pizza and pub snack menu. My picky daughter (not a fan of pizza) enjoys the pretzels. There is something for everyone. The salads have fresh ingredients, made-to-order. Pizzas on the menu are excellent and can also be modified or build-your-own. Pizzas and other hot appetizers come out on paper-lined pans. When ordering salads, they come in a takeout box rather than a plate or dish. You may need an additional box or plate, because the salads are packed full and you might have a mess! Utensils are plastic. There is a bit of a disconnect because the food and overall cozy vibe seem worthy of real plates and silverware ;) but the plus side is quick table turnover on the busy days or the days where everyone is out on the patio. It's nice to be able to order and pay at the food service counter. You will want to stay a while, but you'll be free to leave whenever you're ready to move on to your next stop!

From the minute we walked in, everyone was friendly and helpful. There was a salad bar, but none of us decided to get that. We got the onion rings for appetizer which they are apparently known for. They didn't disappoint. The onions were cooked perfectly and the outside was crispy but not hard. The pizza was pretty good. Loved the flavors. Nothing to brag about the kids Mac and cheese. It was a typical Kraft made. My 12 year old son got the BBQ wings and he wasn't thrilled with them. Kind of dry. If you are in the area, give them a try.

We had arrived about a half hour earlier than everyone was meeting so we could secure seating and in the end, it all worked out! Jesse is a phenomenal asset to the restaurant! Not only did she figure out our seating, she was personable , upbeat, and on top of the whole room it seemed like. While waiting for the rest of our group we sat at the high-top tables and chatted with a couple of regulars. They gave us lots of good scoop on what to order and their recommendations were spot on. So friendly! We ordered wings, the Olive Juice Forever pizza, the BBQ chicken without onion, and a giant cinnamon roll for dessert. I loved the wings, good flavor, a good amount of sauce. We got them with ranch; it was good but very dill forward if you need to know. The Olive Juice Forever pizza was Olive Oil, mozzarella, kalamata olives, green olives, garlic, red onion, and a touch of sausage and pepperoni. I really enjoyed it, afraid it would be too salty =but it was perfect. The crust was puffy, charred perfectly, and had a good chewy bite. The giant cinnamon roll was giant! We would order it again, it was very good. I also had a beer; a Kona Big Wave or Mango Cart mixed with the Main and Mill draft. I and I really liked it.
