Created my own pizza!
Jo Nell R.

Arrived at 8:00 and they closed at 9:00, she the hostess/waitress assured us we were fine. There were several other customer's in the place at the time. We were on our way home from a service I Farmington and remembered this place from the Pizza Passport. The waitress, Allie, was awesome. So sweet and friendly. Explained everything and was just so nice. Ordered the fire sticks with ranch dill dressing. Very good. Mozzarella sticks with Frank's Hot Sauce. I chose a create our own pizza with red sauce, mozzarella, pepperoni, sausage, jalapeño, pepperoncini, tomatoes, green Pepper, onion, and basil. So good! The pizza guy was right there making the pizza and sliding them in the brick oven. Be the other waitress was also very friendly. If you are in Bonne Terre, this is a great spot with great staff, and great food.

Had a Sunday Funday planned and headed to Bonne Terre to visit Friends. 1st stop was Pizza 101 South for lunch. The Cheese Garlic bread is a must have!!! The Gouda Mac and cheese bites were very tasty... I think dipping both in the side of Marinara sauce was the topper!! I think it is one of the best sauces I have tasted.. The Salad was very fresh. Highly recommend the Ranch Dill Dressing. The pizza was good. It is only 11" which was fine for me as we had the appetizers but if you are starving you may want to get 2 pizzas!! Bonus: they had Stag Beer on Draft.. which is rare as it is usually just a Illinois thing!!

Howdy! My wife and I visited for the first time today wow! The Fire Starters & Toasted Ravioli appetizers were fantastic! They have 2 versions of the Toasted Ravioli, we got the beef which were tasty, but our waitress highly recommended the nacho cheese ones. The Hot Mama pizza was delicious and had a kick. The pizzas are about 12" and thin, crispy crust. The World Famous garlic bread lived up to its name. Thank you for the great customer service and experience!

We were heading home to Maryland Heights and passing through Bonne Terre. We realized there was a pizza place there on our pizza passport. We were really hungry after floating on the river all day and this place hit the spot. Fun decor and open kitchen. There was one waitress and she knocked it out of the park taking care of everyone who came in. She even showed kids where there were coloring books and activities very patiently. We shared the house salad which was excellent. Dressing was homemade and we loved the boiled egg. For an appetizer we got the garlic cheese bread and it was to die for with the chunky marinara. For the main event we got the carnivore pizza. Crust was crispy but not too thin. Toppings were plentiful and fresh. We'll stop back in the next time we coming through.

Possibly one of the best thin crust pizzas I have ever eaten. I am not a pizza guy, but this place will turn me into one if I'm not careful. If you love pizza and high quality toppings, this is a must try. If you have to drive to get here, do it. You will thank me later. Well worth the price. The atmosphere is pretty cool as well.

The 60 minute drive from SoCo to Bonne Terre for Pizza 101 South was worth it! We had a delicious lunch, our server Nathan was delightful, the service was top-notch!! We were greeted immediately, and everyone was friendly and checked on us. We had the Cheese Garlic Bread, Smoked Gouda Mac & Cheese Bites (one of our "surprises"!), and the Total Package pizza. Their dipping sauce is outstanding! Nice and thick, with lots of flavor. We went about 1:30 on a Thursday, and were the only ones in there. That was nice because we were able to chat with our server Nathan, and he brought us a couple "surprises"! The restaurant itself is very nice, and there is lots of variety on the menu. Honestly, this is the best pizza I've had in ages! Lots of toppings and cheese. 10/10! We'll be back! BTW, they also sell the #pizzapassport if you need one.

This place is fairly new and I've been twice so far! The atmosphere is very different depending on when you show up. Seems empty and quiet during lunch hour, but on nights and weekends the tables are full of local families. All of the pizzas are the same size and made in a brick oven in the back of the restaurant, where you can watch them assemble and prepare it, which is neat for kids. The menu lets you customize your pizza, but from what I've heard people love the Fly Me To The Moon which is a buffalo chicken pizza with bleu cheese. There is also a small arcade game in the corner, so bring quarters because the kids love it! The tiramisu was good and I look forward to trying the other desserts. I hope this place continues to get good business in Bonne Terre.

Margarita Pizza

What a nice little find in a small town. It had a nice ambience and the staff seemed friendly and service was quick. We ordered two pizzas and pasta. The Pesto and Chicken was good but could use a nice drizzle of pesto on top rather than on the bottom only as it was a little dry. The Margarita Pizza was decent. It was a little to oily for me and the basil was very heavy. Overall not bad. The pasta was good as well. I would come back and would enjoy trying other options.

The pizza was absolutely delicious!! Friendly staff and service too. We ordered the mozzarella sticks and the supreme pizza and both were perfect.

The interior has an interesting, welcoming vibe. There were regular tables, but a couple couches for comfortable seating. We saw they also had some games in a corner that you could play while eating or drinking. There's also an outdoor patio and it looks like they were setting up to have live music later that evening. We ordered a flight of beers, and thoroughly enjoyed each of the different ones. We also got some pizza, which was really good. Before leaving, we checked out the downstairs speakeasy room, which can be reserved for parties. I am sad that this restaurant is too far from me, because I would love to host a birthday party there. I definitely recommend checking this place out, and if we drive through again, I plan on stopping!

The beers are great--especially the IPAs, wheats and stouts. The food is very good as well--my favorite is the jalapeño Mac and cheese bite appetizer but the burgers, salads and pizza are also good. I like to sit at the bar and the bartender that is there most of the time is awesome--so helpful, friendly and efficient. However, the service yesterday was very lacking. We counted 11 staff members just standing around and talking to each other while totally ignoring us. Three were at the end of the bar and we sat there for about 5-10 minutes before the bartender came out from the kitchen and gave us a menu. We were the only ones sitting at the bar and it would have been nice if one of those three employees had told us that the bartender would be coming out soon or at least give us a menu. The bartender was very good though--quite friendly and helpful--she gave us several samples of beer and food recommendations. We ordered the bites and a mushroom Swiss burger which came out exceedingly fast and both were very good. We had several Giddy Goats which were super tasty and cold...my boyfriend isn't a huge fan of stouts but he loved this one! We checked out the store on our way out and my boyfriend decided to buy a six-pack to go. He went back to the bar, holding his wallet out to pay but all the employees just ignored him for several minutes so he got tired of waiting and left without buying it. We don't understand why there were so many employees milling around doing nothing and ignoring patrons? Are the employees not taught to cover various tasks? Even so, they should be aware of the customers' needs and find the employee responsible for that task. I could understand if it was super busy but it was a Sunday afternoon and the place was nearly empty . I love this place and will continue to be a regular customer but hope for much better service next time!

We loved the building and dining/ bar area. It had lovely character and begged to tell a story. The hubby got an IPA, not my type so no rating from me. I opted for the blood orange and found it to be a solid choice. It was refreshing, effervescent and had no artificial/chemical taste or aftertaste. The service was really good - no complaints there. While we usually pick an app and a meal to share, I was itching for the dark meat fried chicken. Since it's all you can eat, (or should be), there's no sharing. The hubby got a burger with maple syrup for himself. The chicken was delish & piping hot! The broccoli was tasty but not to temp. The mashed potatoes and gravy would fall under almost inedible - old, cold. But I was there for the chicken & the chicken was on point. Sadly, directly after my plate was dropped off, the table behind us was told they were out of chicken. Now, all you can eat Sunday fried chicken being sold out at 540p is a bit odd. I assumed they did a stop sell because they were running low. I found out a short time later that they were truly out of dark meat... as they offered me a wing. Thankfully, I can't eat more than what it came with (3pc). The hubby was disappointed that the maple syrup wasn't maple, rather maple flavored. Otherwise, he was happy with his food. He also ate my final piece of chicken though & agreed it was the winner... Winner Winner (all you can eat) Chicken Dinner! *only on Sundays, if timed correctly ; ) I'd say 3.5 stars overall, but bumping up to 4 because the beer easily hit the mark & it's what we were there for... plus, that chicken. We had kids, tired parents, and a decent-sized group -- and they handled it effortlessly. Friendly, attentive, and quick without ever making us feel rushed. That balance isn't easy. The food was killer. The brisket mac and cheese was loaded and flavorful, with perfectly cooked pasta and tender meat. The smash burger was another standout -- great crust on the patty, juicy inside, and stacked just right. Even the pretzel bites were a hit with the kids (and let's be honest, the adults too). And the blood orange beer? Fantastic. Crisp, refreshing, and just enough citrus to make it interesting without being overpowering. It was the perfect post-game drink.
