We went in for a BD dinner for my daughter, we've been there before and had great food, so wasn't worried at all! I ordered the half rack of ribs, hadn't had ribs in a while, so wanted some. They smoke their ribs, so again, wasn't worried. Meals came out pretty fast, apps were great, drinks were yumm, waiter was awesome, ribs not so much. They were tough, and not done, and alot of fat on them. I cut the fat away, and tried cutting a section off to eat, no luck, too tough. Then after cutting off 4-5 pieces (slabs) of fat, I finally cut into some meat, and it was still pink and not cooked thru. These were pork ribs, so cannot be rare, or even med rare, very dangerous! I called the server over and told him I couldn't do it....I asked to see a manager, and she came over and agreed, apologized, and made it all right. Took the rins off the bill. I got the pulled pork instead, pieces of the pork ribs they put on the grill to heat up, so definitely cooked thru, and it was DELICIOUS!! That's why the 3 stars and not 1. I'll definitely go back, but won't order the rack of ribs again. Everyone else said their food was great! Hope they work on those ribs & get it right! FYI, if you have a larger party, they ADD a 20% gratuity to your bill, so I didn't leave a tip, it was already added in. read more

Came here on a Friday night for a comforting meal with the family and left extremely disappointed. It took quite some time to wave down a server to take our order. After a good while waiting for food, we were told our ticket was lost in the kitchen. The server brought us a plate of fries to make up for the mistake. Finally the food showed up and it just went downhill from there. I had ordered the tri tip, which was extremely dry, tasteless, and overcooked. I had to dunk it in sauce to get it down. I realized the server hadn't even asked how I preferred my steak cooked but over-well-done isn't it, boss. The coleslaw and beans were unremarkable. My grandma ordered the $36 ribeye and it came out bloody and chewy. I could hardly saw through it for her with the cheap little steak knives offered. Anyhoo, I let the server know that my steak was very dry and she said she would let the cook know but didn't offer any further compensation. Pretty poor experience and I would be hard pressed to come back here anytime soon. I took my tri-tip home for my dog. Wish I had better things to say about this place because it's great to have local eats. read more

Came in on Friday, and I have to say. Service was outstanding! Trinedy did an amazing Job. Her service was INCREDIBLE. She was always there at the perfect timing. Was super quick with refills and food. Was so Polite and you could always feel the energy flowing from her. 10/10. She was awesome! Last time I came another girl didn't do as good, took her forever to come check on us. Needed a refill and waited about 30 min before she even came back. We don't eat out very often, but I wanted a night off from cooking. We had the fish and chips and the meat loaf. Can't rave enough about the fish and chips. My friends and I decided to have brunch today, one of my friends said to try this place so we did; the service was a bit on the slow side but the ladies were nice. The food was delicious, we wanted breakfast but they stop serving at 11am so we ended up having lunch, we wish they would let breakfast be served till 12, but what we ordered was food, the portion sizes were good for the price and we loved the bottomless mimosas for $15. Overall we will try this place again but come earlier for breakfast, which is what we wanted originally. read more

We've been here before. The service leaves a lot to desired. Staff standing around talking while you wait to order. The hostess was grumpy and rude. The Bar like most in our area was busy and loud! Yes, this is a loud place. We weren't the only ones to notice. The food portions are good but the quality and flavor is lacking. $52.65 for two ice teas, fish and chips, 12 oz steak with a salad, veggie, mashed potatoes. Not impressed. We visited for lunch on a Saturday, ordered chicken strips, patti-melt, deep fried mushrooms and fries. Food was delicious, hot and quick. The service was excellent and friendly. The entire establishment was clean inside and out. We arrived about 10:50 and it filled quickly while we were there. It take's maybe two minutes to drive there from Main St or Baker Rd it's an easy drive and you can't miss it. We will be coming back to try their breakfast offerings soon. read more

This is an amazing and quaint little steakhouse off the beaten path in Red Bluff off of Highway 36. They serve delicious and well-proportioned sized meals that have high quality food; and I can attest to this because I have spent most of my life in higher end restaurants in Napa and Sonoma County. My boyfriend and I stopped by the other night and we had an excellent server, Summer. She was very attentive to our needs and we never had to ask for our waters or drinks to be replenished or when our appetizers or main course would arrive. Summer was super sweet and has excellent customer service. She is a high caliber server and I highly recommend this place! read more

It seems like it should be a great place. I think I might have just caught them on a day where everything went wrong- maybe someone called off or something. It wasn't busy at all- like 3 or 4 tables occupied, but we couldn't get seated, we couldn't get water, just everything took forever. They were nice, the cocktails were good, the food was good- not exceptional but nothing wrong with it. I really do hope they find a solution to the fly problem. I totally sympathize with how hard it is to control flies in the summer but no other place I've been to up here has had that many flies inside- it makes me wonder if there's an open door or window somewhere in the back or some other kind of opening. I would try them again, but I'd do it at a day and time where they're likely to have more staff in the house. read more

First try, today for lunch. Greeted warmly, seated quickly. Then, things changed. We ordered deep fried food (chicken strips, zucchini), and one and a half hours later, we received it. Waitress was awesome, apologized that they dropped our order, but no offer to comp anything. Ordered drinks and those were quite slow as we watched the bartender eat their lunch and talk to the two at the bar. All the other tables seemed to have soda/water, so not sure about the wait. Big disappointment. I went first on their 'grand opening day' but it was anything but. I gave them time to get their sh-- together before going back. Highly disappointing. No one there to greet/seat you so we sat down on our own. Eventually flagged down a waitress to inquire about menus. Waitress herself was great. That was the only positive other than the overall atmosphere. Food was not worth eating. Got the turkey 'sub/club'. Turkey was very low quality and overly salty. Ate about 1/3 of it and told her I didn't want to take it home. Rarely in my life have I returned food. But I think the only times I have, the restaurant backed up their food. Not these guys. Only took $2.25 off. What a joke. My dinner guest had previously ordered the club sandwich and said it wasn't worth eating, either. Definitely won't be back. this place is awful basically it's a marine barracks made into a bar (with no ceiling) and the woman just sit around at the bar and don't even say hi . and the food looks awful and the outside bar lol don't even get me started on it it's like a animal food container made into a bar lol . i guess the owner said I build a crappy place that makes me lots of money .
