This is by far my favorite Diaz location. It's clean, the cafeteria is big and the food is visible. This truly local joint is what Miami is all about. I also love the catered style breakfast here. You can get scrambled eggs, Mexican style potatoes, and bread for a decent price to feed over 20 people.

Their coffee is on point! Cuban, cafe con leche, regular coffee. It's all tasty and brewed perfection. Their food is delish, too. I feel like a hispanic family has invited me over to breakfast whenever I go there. My kids love their pastelitos. I always get the huevos rancheros. Wasn't even sure what it is when I ordered it the first time, just that it had eggs. I love it. So hearty. The prices can't be beat either! So cheap and the quality is first class!! I was a little worried my lack of Spanish (it looks very much like a Spanish-only marketplace) would hinder me ordering, but the baristas speak both English and Spanish. Of course, they had to teach me that the Cuban coffee is meant to be shared. I didn't know why they were giving me these empty little cups. lol

First off, we ordered off Uber eats, to cut to the chase we ordered "Freshly squeezed" orange juice and got a bottled orange and carrot juice with 15 percent juice and 63grams of sugar.. Ordered scrambled eggs and got soggy soup. We also requested ketchup, syrup and hot sauce for empanadas and rock hard mini pancakes that were dryer than the desert and got nothing, zero, zip. We attempted to call to fix our order utilizing the two numbers provided and all failed attempts after 22 times of dialing. Absolutely THE WORST restaurant of all times, be warned do not order from this location. Absolutely disgusting.. I rather starve next time.

    Look it thus beauty!!

Don't get the breakfast sandwiches, or eggs for that matter. My egg, bacon and cheese sandwich was dried out and completely flavor less.

They completely screwed up an uber eats order and then there's no way to contact them. In addition the food they did send was terrible.

Wow. This place was phenomenal. Our Airbnb host recommended this Cuban/Latin American restaurant in…read moreHomestead, FL and it was downright amazing! We got a sampler platter that included some croquetas, plantain chips, tamal, fried pork chunks, and fried shrimp. Zero complaints about anything! So so good. My main was the Sopa de Res, which was a hearty soup. The serving size was gigantic. I actually took most of it back with me and it made two more meals. There were lots of root vegetables, slow cooked beef still on the bone, a side of rice and corn. My dad got a huge Cuban sandwich that he also ate on for days and my mom had empanadas, which I finished off for a third meal. We also went back for pie. That was ok - it was extremely rich and kind of pricy at $13 a slice. I also tried their Cortadito and took it to go. Great coffee as well. Highly, highly recommend eating here. The decor is fun and the wait staff super nice and patient with all our questions. They also have a separate ice cream shop across the parking lot.

Absolutely delicious food! This restaurant is very charming, both inside and out. The menu is…read moreextensive with so many delicious options to choose from. The service was perfect as well. My husband ordered a Cuban sandwich with French fries cooked to perfection in clean oil, and I had grilled chicken (pechuga à la Blanche) with beans, rice, and sweet plantain, along with cilantro sauce. The portion sizes are very generous and we each had leftovers for another whole meal. We will definitely be back! I also appreciated that the suggested tip amount started at 15%. We left more, but too many restaurants have the suggested tip amounts much too high. Do look at the menu item pricing, as some dishes were $75+. It may have been due to portion size as well as ingredients.
