Missy and Joe are awesome! They are wonderful with my cat, and she looks fabulous when they groom her. The reason for my one star rating is no reflection on their work. I am concerned about two big older dogs that seem to be always penned (in a cage that just fits them) at this business. I have been there at opening time and they have obviously been there overnight. I find this disturbing and question whether the owner really cares about animals to have these guys confined in this situation for such a long period. It would have to be well over a year just from my observation. read more

Just wanted to update an older review.. We still love coming to Dianes.. Joe was wonderful to Koda and really kept her looking wonderful in her last years.. her brothers come every 6-8 weeks to visit Missy and Joe for baths and nail trims. We just love them and can't say enough about their kindness and patience. Their friend Ziggy has now started coming for trims. Everything! My dog loved them. They love and treat their dogs like their own. Very friendly and compassionate my Baxter was completely safe.

My new favorite groomer in Cam! I've tried 4 other groomers and none of them compare to Diane's! Really friendly staff, my dog was so clean and smelled amazing after her bath. She usually comes home from the groomers dying for water and looking miserable but not after this visit! Also, the price was significantly more reasonable than the other groomers in town. Highly recommend them! Bonus points, the staff noticed I had brought my baby with me to drop off. When they called to let me know I could pick up my dog, they told me to call when I was outside and they'd bring my dog to the car so I didn't have to get my daughter out and lug her and the dog back and forth to the car. Amazing service they went beyond expectations and I have now found our Bella girl an amazing groomer! Couldn't be happier with their service! read more

Please read this and please share this with everyone you know!! I don't want anyone else to go through this! This morning I took my puppy, Miller, for his 1st ever grooming. I took him to Diane's Dog Grooming in Camarillo. I dropped him off at 8:30am. At 1:07pm I called to check on him, they told me he'd be done in approx 30 minutes. SEVEN MINUTES later they called me back to say they had cut Millers stomach and he needed to see a vet ASAP. We took Miller to the vet. The groomer had cut open his stomach some how. Miller required sedation and 11 STAPLES in his stomach!!! Please do not ever take your dog to this groomer!!!! Poor Miller is traumatized!! My poor heart breaks for him. read more

Tried this place out and it was horrible. Dropped off my 16 year old Shitzu there and everything was fine. I was getting a little worried because 5 hours have gone by without a call so i decide to call them, they said that she hates the dryer so shes waiting a little longer, and i said thats okay. I get a call to pick her up, so i do, and when i get there the front lady at the desk is only paying attention to her phone call and not grabbing my dog or speaking to me, shes talking to a "friend" it seemed like. When she grabbed my dog, my dog was literally sitting in her own pee so who knows how often they check the kennels because all she said was "wow you peed a lot!" And took her out and gave her to me. I get into the car and my dog is covered in almost white dust, which ruined my car. They didn't cut her nails at all, and even if they did they barely got anything off. I see one of her nails is completely short, dried blood around it, and the others are long. Never going here again and don't recommend to anyone. read more

My little terrier got her first groom here and I was worried but when I picked her up she was so happy! She smelled great and her haircut is amazing. I am very pleased with the work done here. My dog came home looking fabulous. He feels like a new plush blanket. I can tell that the groomer knows exactly what to do for his bath and haircut. The nail trimming is nice and even and he smells like an angel. My suggestion for the salon is to remember to introduce yourself, especially with new clients as myself because I'm not sure who to thank for all the hard work. Also, providing a receipt option since you only accept cash or checks and those forms of payment can be harder to track than debit cards. Note - Not open on Sunday or Monday. Very inconvenient, IMO. This is a tiny, old shop but they have done a great job grooming my 2 small dogs. It is always busy in there with at least 3 workers and many dogs kenneled and waiting but they 1) always squeeze you in 2) do a nice haircutting job. They also cleaned teeth for an extra fee but the price was reasonable. read more

I have been taking my first and second pug to Melissa there for more years than I care to recall. ALWAYS excellent results. NEVER any disappointment. The pug that I have now is very difficult to calm down and work with anytime that I take him anywhere. They always handle him very well and with excellent care. They make him clean & fluffy, trim his nails, and clean up his face wrinkles with some Q tips and peroxide which eliminates a lot of his scratching at home. They do everything for a very low price. I live in a different city and the drive there is a bit long for me. I can go to many other more local groomers but this one is the best and always just worth it. Thanks! read more

I love Diane's dog grooming! Best quality for the price in the area! It's not a fancy place but they do a great job!

First time I took my dog there just for a nail cut it was super quick and the woman was friendly. The second time that I went was a completely different story. The shop was dark so I figured I would try the door and see if they were closed. The door was open so I went in and rang the bell. After many minutes a woman peaked her head around the corner and said in a very rude manner "we are closed that's why the sign is on the door". There was no sign on the door that I saw or my boyfriend saw. I was very disappointed because I thought this would be the new place I would go. This service was terrible and very unprofessional. read more

Was looking for groomer in Camarillo so gave Diane's a try, first visit was pretty good, things weren't so good on second visit. When I came in my poodle/terrier mix was in a cage where she couldn't stand up fully, when I said something the response I got was we put her in there so she could go pee. Really....... Then the price was $ 10.00 more than the previous cut. When we got her home we looked her over and realized her underside was pretty sloppy and so was her face & ears. I'm looking for a new groomer. read more
