I've been bringing my dog, Millie, to her for a couple of years now, and I can honestly say I've never had a better groomer. Millie can be quite a handful, but Maria is incredibly sweet and patient with her. In fact, Maria is the only groomer Millie actually likes, which is saying a lot! It gives me so much peace of mind knowing Millie is in such great, caring hands. On top of her amazing temperament, Maria's work is flawless. Millie's haircut is always perfect! I really appreciate that Maria always checks in to see if I want any changes--she truly cares about getting it right. Plus, she is always on time and professional. Fernando was great, accommodated us on short notice within less than a week and quick with response. He did both dogs who came out great, our maltipoo was matted and had been turned away from our current groomer (that was upsetting) but Fernando accommodated him and did great! He also worked well on our older dog who has skin tags/ cyst and worked around it. He was punctual, very good in communication and pricing considering he's a mobile groomer was reasonable !! Ok the person who does the grooming does a great job but kept cutting hair to a point around my Westies nose. I complained he gave me a refund I told him I don't want a refund and then he waited until I wanted to schedule again and said not a good fit. I posted a review in google and he flat out lied. He's not professional and extremely immature and vindictive. Like how dare I tell the truth. A professional business owner is not vindictive and doesn't lie. I assure you when he sees my review he will lie again. He said can't keep offering refunds. I told him I don't want a refund. So if you use him be careful to not tell the truth and if you speak the truth in a review he will counter attack and lie. He needs therapy. read more

I've been a loyal customer of Fernando's Furry Friends for over a year, regularly paying a steep price of $100 per dog for the convenience of their mobile grooming services. Despite the high cost, I felt it was worth it because they were timely and did a good job on my two Shih Tzus. Unfortunately, my recent experience has completely soured my opinion of this business, and I feel compelled to warn others. I made an appointment well in advance (on November 20) for December 19 at 11:00 AM to have four small dogs groomed--my two and my parents' two--so they'd be clean and ready for the holidays. This was supposed to be a Christmas treat for my family. On November 20, I even confirmed the date and time with Fernando's Furry Friends. Since my dogs were overdue for a grooming, I reached out via text (as the business exclusively communicates this way) to inquire if they had any earlier availability the week before my scheduled appointment. They provided a list of times, none of which worked for me, so I decided to stick with my original December 19 appointment. Today, I texted them again to check if they could fit the dogs in between December 16-18. If they couldn't, I intended to proceed with my confirmed December 19 slot. To my shock, I was informed that my December 19 appointment had been given away! (See screenshots for reference.) There was no prior communication from their side seeking confirmation that I was canceling my original appointment, and they completely disregarded the fact that I never agreed to reschedule. When I expressed my frustration over their unprofessional conduct, instead of apologizing or attempting to make things right, their response was rude and dismissive. They outright suggested I take my business elsewhere and write a review if I felt like it. The lack of professionalism and care was astounding, especially since I was set to spend $400 for their services. It's incredibly disappointing that this happened during the holiday season when I was trying to do something special for my family. Fernando's Furry Friends made no effort to accommodate me, such as offering to groom at least two or three of the four dogs if they couldn't fit all of them in. Their dismissive attitude made it clear that they do not value their loyal customers. I never expected to write such a negative review, but this experience left me feeling unappreciated and disrespected as a consumer. I cannot recommend Fernando's Furry Friends to anyone--save yourself the frustration and take your business to a company that values professionalism and customer loyalty. read more

Unfortunately, we had a really terrible first experience with Fernando's. My dogs were completely shaved, the shortest they have ever been. One dog came in with a bloody paw that continued to bleed all over the floor. The other has skin irritation and was handed back to me without being fully groomed, with wet medicated spray all over her, and I was still charged the full price. I paid over $200 and he was at our house for about 45 minutes total and spent about 15 minutes with our second dog. Our veterinarian was shocked to hear about the cost and the service received. They know our dogs well and saw them right after their appointment and couldn't believe how they looked. The dogs also seemed pretty disturbed about their experience. One was shaking and the other hid under the bed. I really wouldn't want anyone I know to learn the hard way on this. read more

I messaged Fernando's furry friends yesterday through text and received the quickest response. They were able to provide me with pricing and their availability. The best part was that they were available this morning at 7am (the following day) and I was quick to book my appointment. The groomer arrived and time and had an upbeat personality. She was very nice and professional and was willing to work with my little old grandma boxer who tries to act tough. She's not that old but she has the grays coming in After the groom I was able to pay with card which was very convenient. My dog came back so happy and smelling amazing. Her nails were so nicely cut and grinded as close to the quick as possible without hurting her (which I like). Its always been difficult for other groomers to achieve this and to be honest it doesn't seem like they actually do cut her nails. Service was so swift and speedy too. Our Portuguese Water Dog was getting too old and stressed to leave at our regular groomer's so we decided to shop around for a mobile groomer. We tried several at various price points. It may be our PWD's specific type of fur and cut but none of the mobile groomers we tried, before Fernando's, could get it right. Fernando's got it right. The quality of the cut by Mariana was excellent. She was very detailed and communicative, this included when she found a growth on our girl. Mariana took a photo and let us know it's location. That in itself showed a level of caring we really appreciated. We just had Fernando's (Mariana) groom our PWD again today and she did a great job, again. We had had Fernandos's come today we booked them in March but had to cancel because one of our dogs passed and our terrier Lucy needed a few weeks. They were very understanding and gave us time. We had them come today and the lady who was working was amazing. Lucy does not like strangers but something about the groomer made Lucy feel safe. She rolled on her tummy and walked to the van like there was no care in the world. I felt very safe to come inside the house and get work done. Lucy was safe I felt good vibes. When Lucy came out it was like a new dog. She had features we never knew she had. One of them was a FLUFFY TAIL! I will be using Fernandos's again Lucy came from a high kill shelter which was then rescued by Pawworks where we rescued her. We rescued a senior dog for my grandmother during the pandemic. He is partially blind and can easily fall off the grooming table if not watched carefully, but Fernando's Furry Friends have been very careful and caring with both him and my grandmother. I was going through a family emergency and was texted about my dog being seen early. I didn't respond until 30 minutes PRIOR to my appointment because of this emergency. I lost track of time by FIVE minutes and then was told they have a schedule to keep, I was going to let it go but then I realize that's just placed another animal in my appointment slot even though I never did cancel with them and confirmed my appointment with them the night before. No need to have my poor pet waiting in a kennel for hours before getting groomed. I normally don't ever take the time to review anything but service was so excellent I had to support, from the beginning my puppy is scared of other people and barks a lot(since he is just learning to be about around other people) Fernando just knew right away how to manage the puppy to calm him down and not have so much anxiety from the compressor noise, he left him nicely trimmed and showered exactly how we wanted him to be, they also did his nails and brushed his teeth as part of the grooming experience let's not forget to mention the shampoo they use is AMAZINGLY GOOD!!
