So l brought my female schnauzer in and Nancy tells me to take her to the vet and get drugs to calm her down, took her to another groomer no issues,today I brought in the male schnauzer,she calls me and says she needs help, so I go over and hold my dog while she's Scolding me for over an hour for not brushing him more often,I think she no longer has the patience to keep doing this kinda of work. We recently moved here from Hawaii and I was very nervous about finding a new groomer. I am extremely picky when it comes to my Lhasa's haircuts, and they are more like family than pets so I want to be sure they are treated good as well. Nancy has always taken a personal investment in all our babies health and always has been there to update us on anything from an ear irritation to possible cancerous moles. No, I don't know of any other groomers in town...been doing this 35 years." Nice brag book, so post signage saying you're not accepting more customers instead of your welcome mat! Love this place! Gonna take my Boston terrier puppy here as soon as he gets his shots, but my frenchie mix gets treated great there, and the price is hard to beat! I have been going to Precious Paws for about 10 years and if they had 6 stars I would rate them that high. I have two schnauzers that go to Bea and they actually get excited when they see the place. She does an excellent job grooming them and I have had more compliments since I have gone there than with any other groomer. People are constantly asking where do you get your dogs groomed, they always look so nice. All the dogs look lovely coming out and they are gentle and caring. I drive 40 minutes to get there from where I live but it's worth it. Peanut and Bambi love this place! Pat M. read more

Nancy is the best groomer in Ventura County! She is caring and very loving to the fur babies she cares for in her shop. I brought my 2 shelties to her and they love the pampering they get when we go. I had my mother come stay with us and she brought Waysha,her Skipper Key with her. Now Waysha was very old and arthritic no one really could hold her, pick her up without her yelping in pain.. Nancy went right over and shocked mom and I both.. she never cried in pain and just snuggled down in Nancy's arms.. after wards when we went to pick her up from her spa treatment.. she was like a pup again.. and prancing all around.. After agreeing to bathe and groom my blind, senior schnauzer for the first time as her last booking of the day, while I watched, Nancy backpeddled and told me she wasn't happy about it and that she would have to work on other dogs too. She also said she didn't like to use the table leash while grooming, after I told her I had concerns my dog could fall off. They may be warm and caring for some, but they seem very set in their ways here and very opinionated, not very open to special needs. I got a very negative vibe from her today as we spoke, and decided to cancel and find another groomer. I'm not too worried, there seem to be many in the area. read more

I have been taking my Shih Tzu to Bea for about 11 years now. My dog gets groomed every two weeks like clockwork and she loves going there. They are all very nice in the shop and will go the extra mile if need be. They are very knowledgeable and love your pet as if it were their own, I love that! They get their picture taken during Christmas and always get a Christmas ornament and pretty bows for their collar or hair. Wouldn't go anywhere else! read more

Showed up for an appt. made over two weeks ago ( the same time a lady also showed with two of her dogs) and was rudely told by the owner that Dee was no longer working there and there was nothing she could do about it!
