We recently moved here from Hawaii and I was very nervous about finding a new groomer. I am extremely picky when it comes to my Lhasa's haircuts, and they are more like family than pets so I want to be sure they are treated good as well. I took them in yesterday and not only were their haircuts fabulous they were extremely happy and not at all stressed out. We will be using this grooming salon for the remainder of our tour of duty here in California. Thank you Precious Paws! -Pebbles & Rocky read more

I've had dogs all my life. 7 decades worth. I have never come across more kind and loving groomers than Nancy and Denisse. The salon is spotless and each fur baby is handled with loving care. Absolutely amazing. Enrique loves going and I love taking him. It's a sanctuary environment with women who love these dogs. read more

Precious Paws - Enrique, the longhair dachshund, is Nancy's client. She does a wonderful job. - Pet Groomers Near Me - Port Hueneme, California

So l brought my female schnauzer in and Nancy tells me to take her to the vet and get drugs to calm her down, took her to another groomer no issues, today I brought in the male schnauzer, she calls me and says she needs help, so I go over and hold my dog while she's Scolding me for over an hour for not brushing him more often,I think she no longer has the patience to keep doing this kinda of work. Maybe time to retire. read more

This is the way every place should be! I'm new to the area and took my dog in this morning not really expecting to get a walk-in appointment But thought I'd have my dog with me just in case. They are pretty busy with a small staff. But they booked me for next week. Then they called me this morning with a cancelation and I ended up getting in today. They did a great job, were fast and the price is excellent. I'm very happy with the service. read more

I must say Nancy and her crew have but one word: BEST. They do not just bathe the pets, or just trim hair and nails. Nancy has always taken a personal investment in all our babies health and always has been there to update us on anything from an ear irritation to possible cancerous moles. Some 15 years Precious Paws have seen to our little ones. Nancy was there when our boy Harley passed (Dox Beagle mix), Gizmo as well (Tibetan hairy space alien/hippy). I could tell she was as heartbroken as we were. read more

My baby looks like a million dollars after his spa day. The ladies of Precious paws take wonderful care of my little guy. Thank you.

I'm new to the area so researched where I could take my sweet Gracie Beagle mix to be groomed. I was not disappointed!!! The young lady who groomed Gracie made her look beautiful and at such an affordable price too! A nail trim was included in the price so I thought it was an excellent value. Gracie will be going back! read more

Very disappointing reception from the owner who refused service of our rescue pup. "Am very busy and have all the business I need as my customers rebook immediately. No, I don't know of any other groomers in town...been doing this 35 years." Nice brag book, so post signage saying you're not accepting more customers instead of your welcome mat! Don't waste people's time. read more

Nancy is great and obviously loves the dogs. She goes above and beyond, and always with a smile. My dogs are always happy to be dropped off, which says a lot about a groomer! Price is right and the dogs always look great. Thanks Nancy! read more

I love the caring, warm staff here. They love their jobs, always treat me and my two dogs with respect. Prices are great.

I LOVE this place. Everyone is so friendly and they treat my dog with the best care ever. I wouldn't go anywhere else to get him groomed. My dog always comes out with a nice shiny coat! I would definitely recommend! read more

I have brought my little 4lb yorkie to Bee 2 times and I am in love with the cut she gave her. She gave the perfect cut for her personality. They have been very flexible with my schedule upon appointments and my little Lily actually was excited as soon as we pulled into the parking lot?? Weird I know...since it was only her 2nd time going there. But she new. Lily has found her new groomer and we are happy! Thank you!!! read more

I LOVE PRECIOUS PAWS!!! This the most trusted place for your furry little friends. I took my miniature Schnauzer (Zoe) here for 14 years and still taking my 11 year miniature Schnauzer (Zak). I have been going to Nancy who is a treasure and Bee when she has filled in for Nancy. The shop is located in a great spot with lots of parking, it's always clean and everyone is so wonderful! The care and thoughtfulness you will receive is priceless!! :-) read more

Been taking my 100# Catahoula here for a long time. Marios the only one willing to lift her into that shower. My dog leaves there happy as can be. So funny. Awesome place. read more

Love this place! Gonna take my Boston terrier puppy here as soon as he gets his shots, but my frenchie mix gets treated great there, and the price is hard to beat! An added bonus is that the staff seems to actually LIKE dogs, which seems like a no brainier, until you try to go to somewhere like petco. read more

The best groomers I have ever used. Nancy and Bea are so good with dogs and I know they can be a pain when getting groomed.

I have been going to Precious Paws for about 10 years and if they had 6 stars I would rate them that high. I have two schnauzers that go to Bea and they actually get excited when they see the place. She does an excellent job grooming them and I have had more compliments since I have gone there than with any other groomer. People are constantly asking where do you get your dogs groomed, they always look so nice. All the dogs look lovely coming out and they are gentle and caring. I drive 40 minutes to get there from where I live but it's worth it. Peanut and Bambi love this place! Pat M. read more

Nancy is the best groomer in Ventura County! She is caring and very loving to the fur babies she cares for in her shop. I brought my 2 shelties to her and they love the pampering they get when we go. I had my mother come stay with us and she brought Waysha, her Skipper Key with her. Now Waysha was very old and arthritic no one really could hold her, pick her up without her yelping in pain.. Nancy went right over and shocked mom and I both.. she never cried in pain and just snuggled down in Nancy's arms.. after wards when we went to pick her up from her spa treatment.. she was like a pup again.. and prancing all around.. She felt Great!.. This is the ONLY place I will take my Fur Babies from now on.. the price is unbeatable and affordable! read more

After agreeing to bathe and groom my blind, senior schnauzer for the first time as her last booking of the day, while I watched, Nancy backpeddled and told me she wasn't happy about it and that she would have to work on other dogs too. She also said she didn't like to use the table leash while grooming, after I told her I had concerns my dog could fall off. They may be warm and caring for some, but they seem very set in their ways here and very opinionated, not very open to special needs. I got a very negative vibe from her today as we spoke, and decided to cancel and find another groomer. I'm not too worried, there seem to be many in the area. read more

I have been taking my Shih Tzu to Bea for about 11 years now. My dog gets groomed every two weeks like clockwork and she loves going there. They are all very nice in the shop and will go the extra mile if need be. They are very knowledgeable and love your pet as if it were their own, I love that! They get their picture taken during Christmas and always get a Christmas ornament and pretty bows for their collar or hair. Wouldn't go anywhere else! read more

Bad customer service. Showed up for an appt. made over two weeks ago ( the same time a lady also showed with two of her dogs) and was rudely told by the owner that Dee was no longer working there and there was nothing she could do about it! I am now wondering how many pets they are scheduling in an hour? Dee had mine and the other lady's two all scheduled for the same time. read more
