Despite feeling quite rushed with our initial visits (as first time parents of a newborn), I really like Dr. Prasad. She is extremely responsive when we send messages, and was always super friendly and very proactive in giving us tips on things to try (tummy time, introducing solids, etc). We are so fortunate to have had Dr Prasad as our pediatrician for both our kids. She is kind, caring, extremely competent and a thorough care provider. There have been numerous occasions over the years when Dr Prasad has gone beyond the call of duty to make sure my kids were comfortable and we as parents well informed to make decisions. She is very detail oriented and has a lot of patience with my jittery kids and anxious parents (aka me). We've never felt rushed or discouraged to ask questions. If anything, she has always made sure all our questions were thoroughly answered, fears were addressed and extra resources provided whenever there was a need. She is just the best. She is always positive, happy, patient. And a lot times in last 6 years, she even called me to discuss care plan for my kids. Dr. Presad is beyond great. My son is 4 and has been going to her since birth, as well as my 10 month old son. She is very knowledgeable and is very patient. She works terrific with my boys and knows how to get my kids to feel comfortable at every appointment. She always welcomes us with a hug and never fails to ask how their "grandma" is doing (grandma used to join in on their appointments). She is very kind hearted which is what I love most about her. I switched health insurance as bc I knew I wanted my children to grow up with such a caring doctor. She even sings to my babies to calm them down. As for the rest of the team, the frontline staff are amazing. Dr. juvadi also sees my children when dr presad is unavailable but no worries bc she is just as great. Dr Prasad was the pediatrician I chose for my first born and I don't regret it at all. She is thorough, attentive, listens carefully and explains everything in detail as a new parent would like. She is as a pediatrician should ideally be: soft spoken, cheerful and patient with little ones and new nervous parents. She would jot down everything for us and those notes came in handy because as new sleep deprived parents we would forget everything by the time we reached home. We were with her until last year when my son turned 3 years old. We have now moved away and I miss seeing her as my son's Ped! Her staff and all other Dr's that we saw in her absence are also very good. They remind you of due check ups and vaccinations and follow up on things. A good practice indeed. read more

Dr. Prasad has been my daughter's pediatrician since her birth, for over 2 years now. My daughter loves meeting her, and always puts her ease from the minute she steps inside the room. I have been very pleased with her care and her clinic in general. Staff are courteous and helpful. Dr. Prasad is very knowledgable and detail oriented and takes lot of time to answer your questions and gives good guidance and is super responsive. She is just too good for me not to mention her! a wonderful person and an exceptional doctor and a perfect pediatrician as of her ability to make kids feel special! She is calm, composed, kind, soft-hearted, always smiling and above all competent and don't seem bothered or rushed to answer all the questions you have. Whenever she is not at her office (i think she is not in office on Tuesdays and some other days), and we have an emergency, her awesome colleague whose office it belongs to, takes over and takes us in the very same day. To the extent, we stay with them despite them being out of network and us paying a lot per appointment. They have well-being appointments (regular checkups you can plan ahead and have as many as you need) vs office visits (last minute scheduled appointments for emergencies or so which are expensive). read more

Dr.Prasad is a really great pediatrician! She greets us with a hug each time as well as a big smile. It's always pleasant seeing Dr.Prasad. She's knowledgeable and she's also super detail oriented. We love Dr.Prasad because she's very thorough with each checkup and she always explains to us patiently of each milestone. When we moved to MV with our then six month old, I chose this practice based on the stellar reviews for Dr. Juvvadi. Dr. Juvvadi wasn't accepting new patients, but Dr. Prasad was. I wasn't able to find any reviews on her, but decided to try her out knowing we could switch if it wasn't a good fit. Our son is now 15 months old and we haven't had any needs aside from the wellness visits, but Dr. Prasad always takes her time with us asking and answering questions. The whole staff is friendly and the way they light up when they see my son makes my heart happy. Dr. Prasad puts us at ease as soon as she steps in the room and I can't imagine a more warm and friendly doctor for our little guy. read more

Following my uneasy journey in search for the perfect pediatrician, I could not have asked for or even imagined a better one than Dr. Prasad! She has it all - super professional and skilled, extremely thorough and accurate, gets to the bottom of every single issue and is very responsive to any message we leave. She has endless patience to address all of our concerns and many questions, listens with great care and makes sure we are comfortable with any decision and understand what to do, and always follows up with us. Also, very importantly, Dr.Prasad is very dedicated, has a pure heart and truly cares about her patients. From the very first encounter, we could tell right away how passionate she is about her patients and practice. We have had quite a few scares with our now 8 month old baby boy and even felt helpless at times, but in absolutely every single case received immediate treatment and resolution from Dr.Prasad that far surpassed our already high expectations. Even when our baby isn't feeling well, he can't stop smiling at Dr.Prasad every time we take him in for an appointment (which really says it all!). Dr. Prasad is amazing! My son has had to go to her at least once a month for the past year so we have gotten to really know. Nothing she could have prevented but she was helpful during the process as we went from specialist to specialist to figure out why he was having breathing issues (after about 10 months we found out water gets into his lungs, no other liquids or solids, only water which is why it was hard to figure out). Anyways during all that time she was very helpful with giving us some herbal medication suggestions as well as prescription meds. He was on so many different things it was nice to have the balance. He is all boy and very much a toddler who doesn't like to sit still for a second and she was very accommodating. Helping in any way she could by playing with him while discussing with me everything I needed to do for my son or she would sing to him to help calm him down. Towards the end of his long ordeal of his unknown breathing issues, she noticed how much this process was wearing me down as a single mom not knowing what was happening with my son and she gave me a hug to comfort me. She cares for each kid individual but also the family as a whole. I think that is a sign of a good doctor. read more

I know why there are very few reviews, because no patients of her can ever have any issue with her. She is a bumper price for me and my son while our stay in San Jose. I don't think there can be a better pediatrician than her. I can't praise her enough she is that good a pediatrician and person. She seeing my son since he is born, We look forward for our wellness visits as she is such a loving person to meet with. She always provides all the info related to my son, thoroughly check him and used to clear all my queries and concerns regarding my son. She always gives a warm welcome and a big smile to us and our lil boy. All her advices always worked great for my son. She is very patient while answering all doubts of a first time mom like me.
