Later that week, when I mentioned this to my PCP - who's also a conventional medicine doctor, he straight up said: "pediatricians make tons of money with vaccines, so if they kept parents like you it would send a message and they don't want to lose money". At Luke's 1-year check up, Dr Li expressed concerns on his development, and referred us to a specialist, who is also great and was able to get the help Luke needed. At the 2-week checkup of Neo, she noticed his hands and feet were cold, and was very concerned. She offered us heating pads in the office to heat him up, asked us to monitor his temperature back home, and asked us to report his status regularly. When we found that Neo's temperature was not coming up, Dr Li instructed us to take him to the ER, called the doctor on-duty at the ER upfront. That was 9 in the night!
