They consistently had great materials, beautiful sheets of paper, and amazing staff. Friendly service, clean and well organized store, and a real community staple. I was super excited because it looks real and is beautiful. I'm so excited to decorate at the end of the year. I was impressed by the girl at checkout. She wasn't flustered by the crowds. The tree I was waiting to get packed for me ended up being packed and sold to someone else due to poor communication. She immediately made sure I knew what else was available and any additional discounts she could ask about on my behalf. Loved that! They were putting out Valentine's day and St. Patty's day stuff in December. I thought this is crazy but I will definitely be there next week for the Valentine sales. I love all the coupons weekly and the variety of crafts. You can't go wrong at HL.

I turn my head, and see a worker (Mila) with a merchandise cart, and I say, "I'm sorry. Can you say excuse me?" She then repeats, "you need to move". I ask for the store manager (Aaron), and he comes towards me asking what happened. Mila then lies, saying she never told me to move, and he proceeds to tell at ME when I correct her. He says, "you both need to go and seperate!" As he's yelling at me in front of the whole store, he turns to Mila with a kind tone, telling her it's okay, as if this encounter is my fault. Me, a CUSTOMER, needs to go away because HIS employee doesn't know manners. I have never felt so verbally attacked in a store. I didn't receive a single apology, only constant reminders that "it's my fault, and not his". Absolutely disrespectful. I shopped here SO often, but will never go back to this specific store. I cannot fathom how Aaron is the store manager. He was unkind, unprofessional, and unapologetic. I value other stores, and their priority to welcome customers. But I cannot and will not respect someone so dismissive, without any care of the situation.

We came in with a an old framed photo that we needed to change out the plaque that was on it. The previous framer, from many years ago, taped and glued everything together. We thought we could make the change ourselves, but the previous framer made it like Fort Knox and we couldn't really take it apart without destroying parts of it. We were also in a time crunch for this, so Corey was great about going over our various options with us and letting us know what he thought was salvageable from the original framing job. He was personable and easy to work with. We were able to come up with a plan, and he let us know it would be ready the next day, which was way better than we hoped for. All in all, a great framing experience. The price was also very reasonable, which was great because I work for a non-profit.
