We just recently finished a casita and patio courtyard build on our property with DWC. The overall experience was very good. Among the positives: * There was no "nickel & diming" - the contractual costs/terms were honored * Jovan and crew truly care - and want things to be done right and want the customer to be happy * We felt we were being dealt with honestly and openly * Whenever we ran into an inevitable hiccup or unexpected turn, Jovan was available to find resolution or make things right Among the challenges: * Time: We know projects always take longer than anticipated - and several city permitting holdups exacerbated that - but the project took months longer than we had hoped. My advise is to expect to be patient and roll with delays - which in the end are worth it to have the project come out the way we all wanted. Jovan and his team did an excellent job on our kitchen remodel, which included flooring throughout, painting, baseboard replacements, plumbing and electrical relocation and appliance installs. All I can say is that Jovan Wright and his crew did a marvelous job on our extensive bathroom remodel. He took our outdated bathroom complete with jacuzzi tub and dated block windows and transformed it into a world class spa bathroom. Completed the job on time, on budget and with meticulous quality and attention to detail. From the minute I began speaking to the owner, Jovan, I knew he was an expert and had great attention to detail. He asked me several questions to determine my needs, wants, budget, and timing. He then proceeded to walk through several options available based on what I'd shared, explaining the positives and negatives of each choice. This isn't the first time that we have had work done by Diamond Wright Construction and it will not be the last. We just had a full kitchen remodel done by Jovan and his team and we are so very happy. Again, from the very beginning of planning the project we had total confidence in Jovan. He coordinates every detail and personally makes sure that everything goes smoothly. As with any project, little things can go wrong. My husband and I are very picky, pay attention to detail and tend to have a lot of questions. Jovan was very patient with us. He NEVER ignored our concerns and ALWAYS addressed any issue immediately. Jovan's crew was always courteous and pleasant. A remodel can be a messy job but they took great measures to keep it as tidy as possible. Diamond Wright Construction was recommended by our cabinet company for our kitchen remodel. Jovan responded quickly to look at the job and supply the quote. He listened to what we wanted and was able to make our vision for the kitchen come to life. Our job included taking down a wall with fireplace, raising a ceiling, re-routing ductwork, removing windows and replacing with different sizes, and stuccoing the exterior and full exterior paint. He abandons jobs, doesn't follow through on work that was paid for and doesn't follow the plans. He refuses to fix what he did wrong not to mention is extremely rude, arrogant and has no clue what he is doing!! We hired him for a job to only continue to get quotes 200-300% higher then his original bid and when we finally said ok his sub didn't do the job to the plans threatened us with violence if we didn't pay for the wrong work and now Jovan is no where to be found. We had a contract which we as the clients did not terminate! We just want what was paid for done correctly! Jovan will not respond or fix his wrong doings! I will NEVER recommend this guy to anyone!! DO NOT USE HIM HE IS UNEXPERIENCED AND WILL COST YOU MONEY AND TIME AND NOT COMPLETE WHAT YOU PAID FOR! I don't know how these people sleep at night taking advantage of families like this!
