Am visiting from NH and was looking for a place to get a pedicure. Many of the places had mixed reviews, but I stumbled upon Diamond Nails and decided to give them a shot. I texted with someone about availability, they got back to me in a timely manner, and I was able to get an appointment the next day. Was a welcoming environment, if not a tad cramped, but that didn't really bother me. Great selection of sparkly gel colors! The man who did my pedicure was very thorough and I am 100% pleased with my service! Cheaper than what I pay in my home state and discount when you pay with cash. Will definitely be coming here again if I need another pedicure while I'm in MI. read more

My friend referred me to Diamond Nails last week, as she has been going to this shop for years and absolutely loves it! I was interested in getting a pedicure, and I was happy to see that they were open on Sundays. So I decided to try the shop out! The shop was jam packed when I went last Sunday. The first issue I had, was that there was no seating for customers. There were customers lined up right at the entrance of the door, standing and hovering over other customers that were receiving services, and some customers sitting at the stool of the windows, which are not real seats. It just made for an uncomfortable experience, standing and almost squished besides other people waiting for a service. I also noticed several people that came in had an appointment, and I didn't care for the fact that they were still standing and waiting for awhile although their appointment time had passed. Which caused for further crowds of people to stand close in proximity to one another, and during COVID, that's definitely not a good idea. I was seated after about 10-15 minutes because I was just getting a pedicure. I don't recall a sign listed with the services and prices, so I went off of what I saw online as their prices. I should've verified before the service. So that was my fault. But I asked for the deluxe pedicure, which was $20.00 more than what was listed online. So another disappointment! I will say being open on Sundays is very convenient. And another positive is that the shop seemed clean. But other than that, epic fail in my opinion, for customer service, no seating area for customers, and it seems like price gauging. read more

I've lived in the area for a while now, and have always stuck with the same nail place on Little Mack. The last time I got shellac there it peeled off within 7 days, so disappointing. Since then I have been looking for a place a few miles closer to home, and bonus Diamond Nails is open until 8pm during the week and open on Sundays. I walked in last night around 6:50pm and was seated right away for my pedi. Very comfy massage chairs and the tons of colors to choose from. I, like almost everyone else, get in grown nails on my big toes. How painful, right?! I love when people take the time to make sure the nails are cut just right that it won't happen, double bonus! I checked work email, watched a little tv, and got to relax. Then off to get my shellac mani. There are over 50 colors to choose from. I decided on a coral pink that I have gotten before - I always want to try something different, but when I am traveling for work that week I can't go with a crazy color. I paid and off I went. By this time it was 8:10pm. I wish I could have been out of here in an hour, but the service was really great. I can't say if I will be back again until I see how long my shellac will last. 1000/10 I called yesterday a little after 3 just to see if they were doing walk-ins; she made me an appt at 4 for a full set & pedi. I was out of there by 5:45. They took our temperatures, wore gloves, masks, had plexiglass between ourselves, clean new tools, disinfectant, social distancing in effect, you name it. There were a ton of walk-ins while I was there & they got every single one in & out pretty quick. One person did my nails, one did my toes, & they both did AMAZING. I've never loved my nails so much. Great quality, gave me EXACTLY what I asked for, more than enough colors to choose from, and overall a clean, quiet, friendly atmosphere. Oh, & it was only $70 for a full set & pedi. I asked for a manicure that was durable because my hands are always in water or near hard surfaces and my nail CRACKED OFF within 20 hours. This place is absolute trash! I have been coming here since they take credit card, reservations, and have a nice selection of colors. The first two times I came here I had a good experience and then a horrible one the third. The first time I did not have a reservation, but there was no wait and my technician did a good job. The second time I had an early appointment and arrived early and was taken right away. The third time I had a reservation, wrote it down, and when two people asked what I was there for, I told them and said that I had a 530PM reservation. For the next thirty minutes, I waited while 4 walk-ins after me were led to pedicure chairs (I was getting a manicure). No one was available to help them at the time, so I have to imagine that when techs were available, they would be helping them instead of me. So after wasting 30 minutes waiting for my appointment, I left. Super disappointed. read more

I came in here based on some suggestions from friends. I had a broken acrylic nail - all the way down to my nail bed. It hurt super bad so I was worried about getting a fill in. He redid the nail and made sure to keep asking if I was ok. I got sparkle chrome nails & he was very thorough. It is a lil pricey, but I will definitely be coming here from now on. Spend a lot of time in Michigan and have been looking for a new nail place for ages. This is it!! Gel pedicure for 3 adult females and each one looks amazing and we all had equally relaxing services. I didn't see any difference between the attention to detail, massage time etc between any of our services or the tech who gave them. Made an appt for 2 and we were taken promptly at 2 so that was nice. Paid for an upgraded pedi that included wax, hot towels etc and it was worth it for some nice spoiling. We are already planning to go back for a mani. Shop was very clean and very busy for 2pm on a Thursday (which means they are a good place in my book). Massage chairs and they use disposable liners for each pedi. Only improvement I think would be to offer guests a water or something to drink. It's no biggie on that for me. read more

I've never really had a problem with the work they've done, so far it's been great, which is why I was generous and gave them three stars. Issue #1- The sign says they open at 10 on Saturdays, but nobody is ever there until at least 10:15, and there is a line outside the door just waiting for someone to show up to work. Issue #2- They take appointments, great, but don't make one if you are on a time restraint. Even with an appointment, there is a LENGTHY wait. Here's the thing, if your company is going to take appointments, please assure there is at least one or two nail techs available! I walked in yesterday for a 5:30 appt, thinking I'd be safe since I had my sons baseball game to get to. There were about 10 people working and nobody was going to be available within the next 15 minutes. Little did I know, there were TWO other people that had 5:30 appointments. That's just bad customer service right there. It was 6:00 when I finally left and not one of the other appts was taken. No. Bueno. I like their work and they are very friendly, but they don't know how to run a business worth anything. I came in after a really long day at work. It was close to closing and they were busy. I asked if they wanted to take me and said I completely understood if they didn't have the time. They said it was fine and so I sat down. After 5 minutes I was called back and sat in a pedicure chair. A tech filled the water and walked away without a word. And there I sat for 90 minutes as the water got cold and then eventually drained out leaving my feet wet and cold. I tried to get the attention of multiple people to give me more water. I watched several people come in after me and receive their service..ok fine they may have had an appointment. But if you didn't have time to see me..or even stop to fill the water basin or ask how I was doing, then why not say so? I had recently lost my mom and was really missing her. I am honestly only writing this so that others don't waste their money. I came in for mani/pedi shellac, and polish started to lift two days later on my mani. Just a week later my polish is almost all off. I know that keeping a natural nail is more upkeep, and I do have nail conditioner at home to make sure it lasts longer. It doesn't matter. The problem is he spent very little time on my cuticles, and just polished over them. They also use a gel brand that advertises three weeks, which is also very misleading. Went again this past Sunday for shellac manicure. They did a cute slanted french tip with little gold embellishment that was so adorable. I've been trying to grow out my nails for a while now, and all but one was perfect for this style. One nail needed acrylic to extend the tip, but afterwards you couldn't even tell it wasn't my natural nail. But, of course, I manage to break that one nail within a few days. Open on Sundays! I drive from Sterling Heights to come here because they are really that good and it's difficult trying to find a decent nail salon open on Sundays near my house. The pedicures are awesome as they take the time to remove calluses and the rough skin on the bottom of your feet. My favorite part is when they use the piña colada exfoliant scrub! After you get the massage and hot towel. Manicures are perfect too and you get a free water to go. Place is super clean and friendly staff! One of the nail technicians then came over, put a stool by my station, and made my friend move from her station to mine. She then proceeded to seat someone (who had gotten there 30 minutes after us) in my friend's previous station. Didn't even apologize or try and assist us when we got up. Two or three times I have made appointments only to be kept waiting for 45 minutes. I have seen other people come in as walk-ins and they were taken before me. I can't quite figure out their system. My most recent visit, I waited 1 hour and 45 minutes (I am NOT exaggerating) to get a shellac manicure and pedicure. But that wait was just to get into the pedi chair for another 20 minutes, the water was so hot that I could not soak my feet. Finally, the pedicure I received was rushed and sloppy. My friends dad was treated poorly by the Owner and was literally "kicked" out of diamond nail yes the old lady kicked her dad with her feet to get out of the store.
