I only see one nail tech and one nail tech only, so this review is only for Lani. I loooove her! She is so sweet amd so good at what she does! Unlike other nail techs, she actually takes her time to ensure that she does a good job...even when they're busy and there's lots of people waiting. I usually get the diamond spa (pedi) and it lasts about an hour. Last time I was there I went an hour before closing..by the time 6pm rolled around and they were closing, Lani still wasn't done. I started to panic because I thought she was going to rush through the rest of my pedicure, but she didn't. She took her time like usual and was very thorough. In the past month I've moved so this place is now out of my way, but i still plan on driving back to salt lake to see Lani. The ambiance is typical of that of a nail salon. The workers are speaking to one another from across the room in their language, they're eating in the back room, and taking personal phone calls on their cell phones, but I think I'm so used to it that it doesn't bother me anymore. read more

AVOID THIS PLACE. If I could give 0 stars, I would. The place is dirty. I went with my friend from out of town and took my daughter along for a pedicure. I didn't see them clean the bowls or grab sterile utensils, and they were clearly talking about me and my friend. SO UNPROFESSIONAL. I will never go back. read more

Got the mani/pedi combo which included the basic for both and was $36. The tools didn't look clean and the files, buffs and pumice were all used on the same people. They clean them in the tubs after but I'm not sure they get disinfected. The "massage" was basically just like getting lotion rubbed on my leg. I can do that myself. They were pretty rough when my cuticles were cut and they were scrubbing my calluses. I haven't had the mani portion yet, we'll see if this rating improves with the 2nd half. Overall, seems dirty and customer service is slightly lacking. Update: got the mani, more of the same. Massage was lacking and came away with polish on my skin for the man and pedi. I'm sure when that washes off it will look good. So overall I got what I wanted which was to have someone paint my nails, but I might get toe fungus out of it for all I know. read more

my first time coming to this nail salon, I am never coming back. I asked for a zig zag, I got a design that looked like a 6 year old who did my nails. I did not have time to make him redo my nails. $6 each for a design this design should be 15 cent each. I am never coming back!! read more

Diamond Nails - I got a design that looked like a 6 year old who did my nails. I did not have time to make him redo my nails. - Nail Salons Near Me - Honolulu, Hawaii

I got a foot massage and it wasn't even a foot massage more like a leg scrub, no massage at all. I wouldn't recommend this place.

Love this place! Friendly and fast service. Call ahead to make an appointment. My daughter and I make this a date every 3 weeks! Prices are fair. People are awesome. read more

I came here a few times, and I loved it every time I came cause the pedicures are awesome. The foot/leg message anyway but that's with the men, I've had two different men do my pedi, they take their time and like I said their massages are bomb. Today I had an older woman do my pedicure. The cleaning part in the beginning hurt a lot. As if she was digging for gold. I usually deal with the pain but today, I just couldn't and finally opened my mouth after awhile then she stopped and said sorry that she was cleaning my toe nails. I mean, I got pedis before and maybe one toe would hurt cause of an ingrown nail or something but not from cleaning them. Then when she went to rinse my leg after massaging the water was burning hot. She tried to make it warm and burned my leg again. Best part I could say is the massage, it was just as awesome! Oh my goodness, love love looooooved it! And my other half wonders why I won't go to anywhere else for a pedi. Everything else wasn't all that great but because of the massage, I'd give them four stars. read more

Diamond Nails - I came here a few times but have never got this special lol - Nail Salons Near Me - Honolulu, Hawaii

Made an appt for 12:30. Showed up at 12:25. By 1:00 we had still not been taken back...this is after seeing a couple people WITHOUT appts (one of whom was obviously a close personal friend of the technician who took her back) taken back. As we were walking out they offered to take us back. No. I called ahead to make an appt so I didn't have to wait 30 minutes. Appointments are supposed to take priority, that's why people make them. read more

I came to this nail salon and i had a gentleman first of all he really didn't do a very good job the massage he gave i really don't think it was a massage at all the ladies there does a better massage than him..also i felt like he was rushing so that he can get to his next customer or either he was hungry and i tip him good . I usually go to trina's but this salon was closer to so i wanted to give it a try and you know what NEVER again BAD service RUSH RUSH.... read more

I really, desperately wanted to like my experience at Diamond Nails however, I can't seem to understand I spent TWO hours there and walked out with the worst mani/pedi of my life. My toenail paint job turned out okay but I barely had any scrubbing done on my feet and it was not relaxing at all. The manicure was the worst part of the experience. It took him longer to take the old polish off of my nails than it did for him to do the rest of the process. My nails are jagged with awful cuticles that look worse than they did when I went in. He didn't trim them evenly or even smooth my nail bed before applying polish so now I have lumpy polish that I could have done better myself. It was cheaper than my other regular salon but it was definitely not worth the long time that I sat in there and the awful nails that I walked out with. Im not even sure why I am giving them two stars. Maybe for the two hours of my life that I completely wasted this morning. read more

Someone recommended Diamond Nail to me and I was not disappointed to say the least! I got both a pedicure and a manicure and loved loved loved how it turned out. Everyone there were so friendly and helpful and just a pleasure to be around. Huge shout-out to Katie for her amazing work!! She is very skilled and on top of that so fun to chat to! Thank you Katie!! I definitely recommend Diamond Nail! They have amazing service and their prices are also very reasonable. read more

Everyone around me seemed to be enjoying there day at the salon. My manicure is in evenly cut and was not asked about how I'd like them cut, some nails are square and some are rounded off. This was a very unpleasant experience and not worth the money I spent read more

Hello, this is probably the worst nail salon I have ever been to in my entire life. But so convenient to go to because it's very close. I always give nail salons more than just one visit. The first time i went in November and had a Gel Pedicure , when i notice that the job was being rushed I asked for my smaller nails to be filed in more of a square shape and expected a "yes". The nail tek told me "no because your nails are naturally round" it made me laugh at first because of the female comedian Anjelah Johnson- Nail Salon stand up "no baby that you nail, you nail do like Dis'". I then asked to borrow her nail file and i began showing her the straighter pattern i preferred. She the smiled and said "its because i have to leave and catch my bus" . Oh ohkay! So it's not because of my "nails natural pattern". It's really a treat when receiving great Service. Looking elsewhere after my second vist being quite similar read more

My nail had a chip in the middle of it by the end of day three. It has been a week now and every single nail is chipped and coming off! I paid way to much for such a crappy job. I will never get them done here again! My pedicure looks nice still, but a full-set isn't worth $1 here. On top of all of this my husband called and made me an appointment. I have to wait 30 minutes after my pedicure before getting my nails even started.. read more

I love this place, they have great quality work and good prices! My nails remained strong under the gel which didn't chip, a sign of using great products. Thanks Diamond Nails! (Dat did my nails he is awesome) read more

I love this place! I come every 2-3 weeks to see Louann and she is great! Super fun to talk to and she always does great on my nails. Recommends colors and never disappoints! My nails always last a while too. read more

Nails look nice enough. Came here due to a layover in Hawaii and this was a close spot. The conversation with the older gentleman states off nice. I wanted a gel manicure. I told him and out gel manicure on the sign in sheet. He cut and filed and shaped my nails. I asked him if he was going to take off the old polish since he was doing all this with the old gel polish on my nails. He started to sigh and he said I asked you what you wanted. I didn't want him to polish over my old polish, without letting me know. He had an attitude and I didn't want any problems so I told him that in Georgia they Remove the old polish and then put on the new polish. He still sighing like I was a problem. The lady behind him started telling me why they do that, to keep the nails healthy. He said I will do what you want, but by this time I just wanted to pay and leave so I said do it your way. I'm not from Hawaii so I didn't know that this was normal. My whole beef is he caught an attitude with a customer. I gave him a $2 tip, I normally do $5 and left. I believe that good customer service is a must for any company and his attitude is why I will not recommend this place. read more

I have been coming here off and on for the last year and every time I am happy with the results. The nail techs consistently do a very good job. Anytime I have ventured out an tried a new salon I have not been as pleased as I am when I come here. Phong and Zack are great as well as the rest of the staff. Thanks for your great and friendly service. read more

I used to go here every 3 weeks to do my brows but the last two times I went here the lady started on my eye brows then she went on her cell phone to take personal calls... yes calls more then one... i was like hello you are asisting me. Plus she didnt do it the way I wanted after numerous times of me telling her. This was my favorite since 2008 but the new staff this pasr year is such a dissappointment read more

I first tried this place out randomly with my SIL, it's now our fave place to get pedicures. The foot/leg massages are wonderful!

Went here for the first time it very nice and clean staff is friendly but a man did my nails with acrylic and shave my real nail down to much now it's all cracked and ugly don't think I will go here again... read more

My acrylics needed a fill in so I decided to come to diamond nails since I live close by. I went on a Friday morning and was able to get in right away. Helen did my nails and she was great. She really took her time. The place I got my nails done at before didn't really do a good job, so Helen filed them down and reshaped them so they'd look better. She was super nice too. Prices aren't bad here either. I got a French manicure and acrylic fill in and I think it was around $24. I plan on returning in the future whenever I need my nails done. read more

Loved them all! Got a Mani/pedi and eyebrows done. They're so awesome and nice! I recommend them to anyone!

I wanted to give this place a try it's near where I live. I wouldn't recommend this salon. I got a basic manicure and pedicure no gel for 50 dollars not worth it. The customer service I received wasn't good and my services were done very sloppy. My nail lady kept insisting on trying to up sale me when I told her no she just didn't care and did a rush job. They don't use plastic covers in the foot wash leaves you at risk but that's just me. While doing my pedicure she cut down my right foot except I told her "please just file my big toe don't cut it" after I told her that she didn't cut down the left foot AT ALL. So my left toes look stupid and over grown. The manicure is just sloppy lumps and bumps and there's lint stuck in my polish. The polish not even 24 hours later was cracking. read more

I walked in at 4:30 a younger girl did my pedicure she was pleasant and did a good job. But when it got to my manicure Annie was the one who did it. She messed up my nails so bad I asked for natural short nails yet she gave me acrylic and I pointed and told her no and she proceeded she was super rough with my hands burned me twice scratch my skin, she was extremely rough with how she would place my hands. The service was horrible, my nails look horrible to top it off I got charged $69 for HORRIBLE SERVICE HORRIBLE NAILS AND THINGS I DIDNT ASK FOR. read more

Would not recommend, was in line for a pedi, customer behind me cut in front of me, girl sitting at the table looking at me. No acrylic nails from this place, if I could give no stars I would, other customers behind me asked if she just cut in told them yup read more

I will return to this nail salon! I had the BEST foot massage from Andy! I love pedicures and I am a LMT....I FINALLY found a good nail salon that offers good service and an excellent end product! I am a local girl who expects respect because I give respect. I was not disappointed! read more

I have been coming here for a long time and never had any complaints. This time today I got my eyebrows waxed and a gel manicure, both look amazing :) The technician I had was Kay and she was cheerful and friendly! She talked to me the entire time and we had some good laughs. She even told me a great restaurant to try for my anniversary. Thank You Diamond nails, I will see you guys again soon! read more

I don't ever take time to write reviews, but this experience was so bad I had to write a review. I got both a pedi and a mani the other day. A man with a backwards hat did my nails and it was an awful experience. The man who did my nails was very strange and I felt very uncomfortable with the massages he gave. He dropped the nail polish bottle and practically got nail polish everywhere. The manicure he gave me peeled off within hours after. It was completely overpriced and overall a bad experience. DO NOT GO HERE! read more

Went there twice and so far so good! Kelly is my new nail girl and she is so awesome. I get the gel manicure and so far it's lasted longer than most manis I've gotten. Service is always really good. I've gone to salons where the nail techs are rude. Not at this place. I'd def. recommend this place to anyone looking to get their nails done in the salt lake area. read more

Great place. Love this shop! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Reasonably priced.

I've been here three times and highly recommend Kristen and Loann. Each was professional, knowledgeable, kind, and did great work! I usually get a mani/pedi, which is very reasonably priced. My nails always came out looking perfect, and the paint job tends to last almost a month! With the holiday season coming up, I wanted to do nail art, and Loann delivered! The half snowflake added the perfect touch to the light pink base. I'm a very happy customer and highly recommend Kristen and Loann. read more

I absolutely hate this place! I have been there 3 times like an idiot. Only because it is so close to my home and having just moved here and not yet knowing my way around. 1st time horrible manicure got shellac and design. The polish was not cleaned up right around the cuticles and the design was smeared. The lady was so nice and apologetic I figured that maybe she was having an off day. 2nd time got a lip wax and they put some cooling cream after and it burned my lip so bad. I ended up with a rash (bad place for a rash). 3rd and last time got a pedi\mani short on time and again so close to home. It was a guy this time. The whole process felt completely rushed as if he couldn't be bothered. I picked out a color of polish for fingernails (shellac) which he painted. Now time for the toes he asked what color? I told him to match my nails. Then come to find out no color to match. He said "you should have told me first that you wanted them to match". Oh, so it's my fault! You know what your right, I should of learned my lesson the first time. read more

First Timer here and my experience was amazing. I normally go and see my regular nail salon place but they was very busy & being regulars there I just felt blown off since they was overwhelmed. Of course since both my daughter and I get our nails done monthly, I was determined to go else where. My daughter stated there was a nail salon near our home and sure enough it was Diamond Nails. I myself always thought it was pricey buT after today I was proven wrong. I actually saved me a few bucks.. As for the environment itwas AMAZING, they make you feel comfortable. I went and saw Zack and my daughter saw another male. The wait was about 30 minutes, but as I sat in the waiting area I listened to how they interacted with their clients. I LOVED IT!!! I went in there with a broken and cracked nail (basically messed up nails) Zack reassured me he was gonna make it nice. HE SURE DID he actually took his time to make sure my nails was in the same length, it wasn't too short, and he actually polished my nail to aa close to the skin as possible (My normal place wouldn't go that close). I did gel mani as my daughter did gel mani and basic pedi spa. I would recommend this place to others. I'll be back here for sure. read more

Went to Steven twice, he does an awesome job. Clean friendly and gel nails lasted long.

One of the best nail salons that I've been too. The workers are all friendly and always greet me as soon as I walk in. The prices are very affordable and they do great work. I highly recommend Loann. I will never go to anyone else ever again! read more

I need to say I have been to Diamond Nails SEVERAL times. Fool of me to keep trying. No one greeted me each visit. KAY (sits in front) is as arrogant as they come. She does great nails, but more concerned about taking your money than the health of your nail. Not particularly clean. They do not honor appointment times over walk-ins. Again, about the money. Vietnamese have never excelled in customer service, so I never have high expectations, but clearly over priced and such poor quality. I read previous reviews and it seems to be hit or miss. I am done giving chances and my MONEY! read more

I've never had a problem getting an appointment here and the prices are great. I come here every now and then. This place is better than nail tek. I love how they don't push you into getting anything you don't want and they make small conversations, which doesn't bother me at all. read more

Although I was helped without an appointment, I can honestly say I was disappointed with the end result. I don't understand how $90 for a mani and pedi looked it was done by a 5 year old. Never again, time like this is why I miss the mainland read more

I usually go somewhere else but couldn't get a last minute appointment so I decided to walk in at diamond nails. I was seated immediately which was great. I asked for acrylics and a pedi. Long story short: My cuticles hurt and my nails are sore. I also noticed that they raised their prices which don't match their service at all. The pedicure was fine, nothing special. I paid about $90 which is a lot for just "okay" service. read more
