I called in to make an appointment. My appointment was scheduled at 2p same day. The minute I walked in they knew who I was due to calling in ahead of time. When I called I mentioned how I have two ingrown toenails. Anne (my tech) is an experience nail technician for 20 years was soooo amazing. Usually my toes bleed and I'm in pain at that point, she didn't let it get to that point. The whole process was bearable and she put me at ease. I appreciate your expertise Anne. Quick stop for some eyebrow waxing. Fist time here and I'm kind of disappointed that when I walked in, there were three people, 2 without a mask (lady and girl maybe 10-11 years old) and one one lady with a mask. The lady without a mask checked my temperature. Yikes! I don't even know, she had to have known she wasn't wearing her mask since she just wiped her nose and threw the tissue away. The whole time my eyebrows were getting waxed I can hear the lady without a mask on the other side of the divider sniffling and coughing, wiping her nose. Here I am thinking, did I make a mistake coming here? First and last time here, as the staff is not doing their part to protect there customers. There's a sign outside their door that says you must wear a mask to enter, and they do check your temperature when you come in. After making it back safely from that hike today, I wanted a pampered pedi. It was probably after 5pm and the salon was empty. Lots of free parking and all the pedi massage chairs were available. Thank goodness for the massage chair after our adventurous morning. There were two ladies working and it seemed very quiet. Other than the lifetime movie playing on their tv, no one was really talking. Unusually quiet for a nail salon, but maybe it was near closing and they had a busy day. I didn't catch her name but big mahalo to the lady that helped me today. She was gentle yet thorough with my cuticles. The polish quality is super, I love it! I've gone here maybe 5 times. Last time I wasn't happy with my paint job, but let it go. Well, today I went with my daughters. 2 out of the 3 of us were cut and bled. I had to ask the lady to fix my toe because it was painted lopsided like last time. My daughter who was cut was left with clumpy looking nails and they left an indent on her nail when putting on her slippers! I know the lady knew she did a crappy job, but didn't care. The pedicure was one of the best I ever had. Nice foot bowls with disposable liners and new massage chairs. Clean salon with tv. We got the deluxe pedicures with hot stones and scrub. I had called them before going in the store for acrylic and they said I could come in right away. So I did, I was already in the area and got there in 3 mins -more or less-. As I entered they were all working and so I thought to myself "aw shucks I have to wait" which I did for only few minutes. But service was great, the nail tech actually communicates with you. And she took her time shaping my nails! So my nails are done, simple coffin acrylic is $47. Which is not too bad! I don't usually come here for acrylics but I forgot to make an appointment to my trusty nail salon at Mimi Nails by pearl ridge mall and they were not going to take any people within 3 hours and I just couldn't wait. And when I do get just simple nails at Mimi, they usually cost $37. I wasn't really mad about it, as long as my nails look nice! read more

I was in the area and decided to get my nails soaked off. I specifically asked the lady there for a soak off because I know a lot of nail salons like to use a fake nail to get underneath and tear it off. It ruins the nail bed. She told me she would remove them for me but not with a soak off. I then asked her if she would be using a drill instead and she told me to just sit down. She then brought out her clippers and some fake nail tip extensions. My nails are pretty strong so I knew she wouldn't have an easy time getting them off lol she tried 3 times to clip off some nail and get the fake one underneath but it didn't work so she ended up using the drill and acetone. Which in my opinion she should've just done first. Its safer for both of us. It took about 20 minutes to fully soak and remove them. She was rushing but there were only two customers inside and 3 workers..I did tip her though! I probably should've done it myself but it was an okay experience there. read more

This was my 1st time to try their services. I made an appointment after lunch on a weekday and I was the only customer. I did not exactly get the name of the lady that did my pedicure but I was so happy with the massage she did to my leg & foot. Just for the massage alone, it was worth it! The lady also took time to clean and remove ingrown which in my other nail salon, would have hurt. But here she did it very gently. I also like that they carry OPI and ORLY nail polish. I was very happy with my very last minute decision to get my usually get mani and pedi at this place. They took me right away and the lady Nancy did a great job! I noticed overall they seem to have a mix of reviews. I know they are a little more pricey than my usual spot, but I have never let my nails go this long without being done and to say that I was little desperate is a fact. I've never been here before. I didn't care for the vibe at other places close by that I've been to so i yelped and saw the positive reviews for this place so thought I'd give them a go! I made an appointment for a pedi and showed up at 2 pm. It was not crowded, considering it was 2 in a Thursday (note to self: schedule appointments at 2 on a Thursday!) I usually get a deluxe pedi so I got that and man! That was a great experience! The guy took his time, and cut my cuticles and got in there to really clean it up, the n the good stuff - stone massage! Nice! they let me sit until my toes dry! I have a winter fantasy ball tomorrow, and i wanted to find a good nail salon that isn't too pricey. Le Nails was right next to my house and seemed pretty clean. The reviews on this place was a bit intimidating, but I took a chance anyway. I walked in and it wasn't too busy. All the workers were helping customers so they said I could go choose my colors. Cindy was a bit rough on me, She made one of my toes & one of my fingers bleed, but she took care of it. ANN DID A GREAT JOB ON MY BROWS. Went here for the first time since moving to the area. I called to see if they took walk ins, the lady on the phone said I could make an appointment if I wanted to. She offered me a time slot that was an hour later, but said "or come now". Music to my ears. I get there, only 1 client getting a mani. The lady who I spoke to on the phone greeted me at the door and I had told her that I was the one who called. She took me to sit in the spa chair immediately, asked what I wanted. She was really good. Didn't push for extra services like a lot of the other places. No pressure, relaxing atmosphere, nice people, and inexpensive! I absolutely love this salon. Dana has been working in the nail industry for 15 years now and her work shows it. Ann also has been working here for a really long time (dana's sister) and is almost on the skill level, her waxing is superb. There are always other workers that come and go from this spot but i always stick to Dana or Ann as they always provide promising results. I've been going here for about 6 years now and have tried many other places from time to time but it's just not to my liking as this one. This is my go to and will probably be forever unless another owner takes over haha. read more

It was my birthday so I thought I'd spoil myself to a mani pedi and came to Le Nails because its close to home. First off, lots of free open parking. I didn't make an appointment, I just called ahead and they said they were available so that was a plus. Its pretty easy to find the salon, the salon itself is on the smaller side which can be a good thing. I was one of two customers. ***REVIEW ABOUT THE MANI/PEDI:*** DIDNT REALIZE THIS TIL NOW* I wanted a French tip done, so instead of putting on the French tips she put on clear tips and painted the white tips with GEL so she could charge me more than acrylic! Kind of upset I missed that! The first Lady who did my full set acrylic was polite. May be the owner. I originally wanted a dip powder ombre which she said they didn't do. I said okay no big deal I got french tips instead. She was nice and tried to make a little conversation here and there.My complaint about the service was that I left with cuts and a couple of my cuticles bleeding and sore. When she filed and used the drill to even and clean my nails she kept going to deep to my cuticles. The overall look on nails were decent, I paid $50 for the full set which in my opinion is too much. I probably won't be a returning customer its too much for the work I got done. The pedi was another story. I paid $29 for the basic pedi. I loved that the seats were back massagers it felt amazing! The second Lady who did my pedi wasn't the nicest and rushed through the whole thing. I tried to conversate, no conversation, nothing. Wasn't expecting much though. Overall paid $87, she added her own tip in my total so I did not tip. Overall, not going to completely knock it but it wouldn't be my first choice to get my nails done. read more

Secret gem! I decided to try this place out since I was eating nearby & I was in need of a pedicure. Perfect timing because I walked in and I was the only guest (at that time) and was pleasantly surprised at how clean the inside (spotless) was and the modern chairs. Everyone there was extremely nice and Mimi did a great job on my nails. She took the time with the pedicure; she's a perfectionist. When I thought she was done she decided to redo one toe because it wasn't to her standard. Honestly I couldn't tell but I'm glad she stuck to what she thinks quality work should be. I would without a doubt return. Too bad I didn't try this place sooner. Side note: there's only 4 pedicure chairs and 2 manicure stations (if I'm remembering correctly) so it's not super huge. Also be sure to mention to add the tip before they ring you up. The print out doesn't have a slot for you to add tip but if you're one of those smart people that always has cash on hand then never mind. read more

Been traveling for the past week and just didn't have the time to get the eyebrows done, so my mom recommended this place as her a lot of her coworkers go here. Mind you, she's never been herself. Looks slightly run down from the nail salons I'm used to back in NY (note I said nail salons, not spas), and immediately they asked if were there for a mani/pedi. I looked around and noticed that there didn't seem to be a separate area for waxing...to which case I was right as we took turns sitting on one of the massage chairs for pedicures. The place wasn't that all busy, so I was curious to know if the lady who did our eyebrows was just taking her time...or if she was that meticulous. I'm hoping it was the later because I would definitely go back. I mean, when I say taking her time, I mean that I'm used to the wax pull, wax pull, I'm done, pay me method...all occuring within 10 minutes or so. But she really did take her time. I've been on island for just over a year and have had my nails done at various places. Le Nails was by far the best manicure and pedicure I've received on Oahu. It's a small little location, but the owner is super nice and made for great conversation. What I loved the most is she didn't just go through the motions, she paid close attention to the details on my nails specifically needed. Also, I always just do a basic mani and pedi but the price fluctuates. It was $40 which I think is the cheapest I've paid. Very pleased! read more

Came here for a wax, didn't get the lady's name, but she's the only one that does the waxing. She has amazing skills. I thought I was coming in and it was gonna be a short session. To my surprise, she took her time and made sure everything looked aligned. From doing the main wax around the brows, tweezing stray hairs, and trimming the long strands. This was my first time at Le Nails and I was impressed by the service and the care taken by the nail technician who serviced me. My mother had called Le Nails and talked with them and booked an appointment for me with a lady named Dayna. I'm not really a nail person, I've only gotten my nails done a few times. I'm glad my mom had found this place. I came in half an hour before my scheduled appointment and Dayna was ready to take me in right away. I showed a picture to Dayna and she was truthful about the colors that she had and discussed alternative colors and showed me what she had available. She was great and had nice recommendations. Even with some minor changes, the end result was beautiful. Dayna took her time and did not rush me at all. She paid attention to detail and was focused. Small place, nice staff and fairly decent prices. I had nail art done and my pedicurist (if there is such a word) had a difficult time on my left toenail. She had a go at it 3 times and she was obviously frustrated and embarassed. I felt sorry for the poor thing. She began crying and felt so bad that she gave me the nail art for free. She apologized and said that she had a child in Vietnam that was very ill. I gave her a generous tip because I'm sure part of her income gets sent home. I am very impressed with the price as well. My boyfriend and I got full mani's ( I got gel mani) and pedicure's for.... $100.00 Thats for both!! I used to pay 100 for just myself!!!! Writing this during my pedicure. So far so good and WAY BETTER THAN TRINA's across the street. I just finished my workout at Egan's and decided to try this place. They took me in 15 min before opening....that was nice. And yes they speak a foreign language....but at least they can speak English clearly....unlike Trina's. And the chatter was kept to a minimum....thankfully. A little run down but the massage chairs work! And they don't rush and know how to push a cuticle back....unlike Trina's! Way better selection of colors than Trina's. I don't do gel or color on my nails so my basic manicure was simple. Pedicure prices are good and they have a menu of options to select from.
