Le nail has variety nail polish, they even has they own private wax station. Dana did such a prefect job on my nails.

Worst mani pedi ever, and I've had some bad ones! The polish was all over my nail bed and coats weren't painted evenly (see pics). Plus it was bubbly. Not shaking polish is like a basic of 7th grade. The foot bath was tepid at best and the massage (hands and feet) felt like someone lightly applying lotion. I took my Little (big brothers big sisters). Notice the paper towel toe separators. She's a kid but she's definitely big enough to have proper tools (other salons have used legit toe separators). If I don't get foot fungus, may increase to 2 stars... read more

I have gone to LeNails from when I was in 6th grade and I'm now 22. I've always loved their work. There were a few ladies that weren't the best but I've only had about 2 disappointing times from all of my experiences. Every time I stray away from here I never have a satisfying experience. The ladies are always nice, they remember you too and make small talk, which is nice. You don't feel awkward at all while they work. The designs are always good, Ive yet to try a 3d design though. Massages have been good. I like Dana, she has black hair, I believe she's the owner. Always provides the best designs and service. I've recently got my eye Brows done from them, and they did great! Better than Fantastic Sams in pearl ridge. I went to them twice, and they both messed up my eye brows. LeNails gave me great shapes eye Browns for a nice price all 3 times. Overall I love LeNails read more

I don't know how to say this nicely but this place absolutely sucks. They weren't able to do a simple pink to white ombre. Had no idea what that was, even after showing pictures. How do you not understand a picture? Monkey see, monkey do doesn't apply here. So I give up and try asking for a nude gel. They don't have any nude gels. So I once again give up and decide on a nude polish (ew). So here's where things just get plain annoying. I said "do not cut them at all, I want them filed sharp" and the girl took that as "cut them all as short as possible." I stop her and tell her "NO, I said DON'T cut them!" So then I try to explain what the word SHARP means, which she keeps insisting I'm saying SHORT. I was literally sitting there making animal sounds with my hands up saying "sharp like claw, sharp like claw!" She has to ask her manager for some kind of English to Vietnamese translation. Ok. So now she gets it. Sharp. I'm all about fair treatment to foreigners, it's totally fine. Now we know the word "sharp" so this won't happen again. Moving on... The girl literally CUTS OFF part of my pinky finger. Yes, you are reading this correctly. She cut off a piece of my finger with the nail clippers that I had already asked NOT to use. Small but enough to draw blood. And yes, it hurt. A lot. At this point I should have walked out, but I was clearly not in my right mind. First coat goes on my pinky. I don't like the shade. We change it. Instead of wiping the polish off, this girl PAINTS OVER IT. Like, okay then. Let's throw presentation out the window. Bye, presentation. I ask for matte top coat. I don't know what I was thinking... She doesn't speak or comprehend English. "Ah we no have m-mat," she says. Yes you do, sister. I saw it while having to pick my own shade of polish. What I don't get is if you've never heard of a word before... How do you just assume your store doesn't carry whatever I'm asking for??? Manager overhears and explains (in Vietnamese) what matte means. *eye roll* Finally, we're done. Time to dry my nails using some form of ancient technology-type fan thing. After I'm done (oh btw no music or tv here, you get to stare at nothing while you get your nails done), I notice finger prints and smears in the paint. Was it my fault? I'll never know. I ask for her to fix it. By fix it I meant take it off and redo the nail, please. No. She adds a third layer of paint over my matte top coat and then another top coat. Do you know what that means? That means that one nail out of 10 fingernails is now a noticeably darker shade of nude. Next time I get it through my brain that I want to come here, I will instead light $12.54 plus tip on fire and proceed to cut off pieces of my finger myself. read more

They take their time and do a really good job. Very detailed and very kind, I love coming here when I come back home. I usually just get a French tip pedi so I can't really comment on their other services but for something simple they do an excellent job. Note: it doesn't seem they have many colors to choose from. Thanks Dana :-) read more

Fantastic experience! Staff was so friendly! My pedicure felt amazing! And the prices were great! Highly recommend!

I don't do my nails often, because I cut them myself, but I decided to just clean myself with a pedicure since I can't get in my nails to clean it without hurting myself. Went in and soaked my feet, I forgot what they used but they asked if I wanted to upgrade and I said sure so they put in some product in the water and it smelt really good lol, then massaged my legs, it felt amazing, but I am a bit ticklish so I pulled back a few times haha. Once my feet was out, I had my toes cleaned (underneath the nails) it felt soooo good to have all that gunk taken out. When I went home, I just kept looking and fidgeting with my toes as they looked so clean and clear. I never felt so satisfied with my toes LOL. Dana was really nice and I could tell she is a professional. Overall, immaculate experience. read more

Live a block a away from this salon, always come to see Cyn for a mani/ pedi gel: it's expensive =$80-$90. Love Cyn, she's great and I always tip +$20. I got a full set done in California for my brother funeral and came here for a fill. Mimi did my fill =$38, and a few sad days later,3 exactly my nails were coming off. I went back in and cyn and Dayna are there to help me. I told dayna that Mimi did my fill only to come off in a few days. Basically Dayna charged me for a full set not acknowledging the fill that Mimi did charging me $80 in a week. I'm satisfied with Daynas results, but she made me pay for a fill set+ a fill, and she turned it around on me. Mimi shouldn't have done a fill on my nails PERIOD! read more

My pedi came out perfect... I have ingrown toenails and they did it without having problems and I didn't have any problems after, I usually do because where I went I ended up bleeding or others but no problems here... and Anne did a great job on my eyebrows read more

No frills nail salon in an older shopping complex. Found parking in the lot that also accommodates all of the surrounding businesses. Small venue has 4 massage/pedicure leather chairs & 3 nail stations. 2 foldable chairs in the make-do "waiting area". One flat screen tv w/ DVD player to keep customers entertained, although I did notice like previous reviewers that it was on LIfetime. Don't let the key lime green painted walls scare you away, because a Mani+Pedi is only $32! OMG so cheap! And they do such a damn good job. I decided to just get a pedicure ($20) which was awesomeeee. I was so glad that I did not get talked into awkward conversation. The workers also avoided talking with each other, which was very professional to me. They both were very focused on making our feet pretty! The overall pedicure was very thorough and careful. I was really relaxed and I loved the result. Can't wait to go back and try the rest of their services. read more

A males perspective. I went into to get my eyebrows waxed...instead, this is what I got. No greeting at the door, asked to wait for 10 mins and sat there for a half hour, then someone else got waxed b4 me...as I sat there waiting, thai women speaking thai to each other and laughing while looking at me throughout da duration of my wax, did not trim my eyebrows, continued to laugh as I left da salon and the outcome of my eyebrows...MINIMUM Satisfaction...at best. After all dat...they had the nerve to give me their business card. Ive never felt so uncomfortable in a salon before. I am a true supporter of small businesses, but this is one that I DONT RECOMEND. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE...AND OUT RIGHT RUDE!! NEVER going there again. Aside fr that, the appearenc of da salon. CLUTTERED!! LOW RATE!! read more

There aren't any frills here; no hot stone massage, no 7-Eleven rack o' gossip magazines, no six flat screens. So the positive? It's cheap. It's $32 for a mani/pedi combination. You don't feel like the girl doing your nails is talking about you in Vietnamese either. There is one television, permanently on Lifetime. (P.S., why didn't I think of that? Nine million movies, one plot, all with the underlying theme that men cannot be trusted. Bet that's a cash cow.) All in all, they do a great job for the amount they charge. read more

Disappointed; sad I strayed from my usual place. The nails themselves look okay, and I'm sure they're not going to lift because of all the drilling she did, but that was the most painful full set I've ever gotten. First, I've never had a manicurist grind down so much of my nail to prep for a set. (My nails will certainly break when these come off.) Then, my manicurist kept jamming her nail into my fingers (like most manicurists do,) but she was doing it REALLY hard! I jumped a couple of times because it was so painful and she even cracked my finger open. (Which felt fantastic when we got to the alcohol part, by the way. :( ) When it came time to smooth the surface with the drill, she KEPT grinding near the cuticle. I'm going to have a RAVINE in my nail until they grow out! Worst part is she kept dragging the drill past my cuticles, so my fingers are torn up. :( .... and I only got one coat of top coat. I'm just going to go home and add the second coat myself. Never again. read more

Truthfully, I'm not much of a pedicure person. When I get a pedicure it's because I'm having a girl's day, my feet are in desperate need of attention, or I'm just plain bored. But when I do go to get one, it just has to be better than I can do myself. Let's just say, Le Nails was the first pedicure I've had that was less quality than I can do. (And considering how far my feet are from my own eyes, that's saying something. I'm not a pretzel.) First of all, I really really like communicating with someone who can speak English, my pedicurist could not. Second, I know how to cut my own nails so as to avoid ingrown toenails, my pedicurist did not. Third, I'm not the greatest at painting my toes so that they're perfect but I do know how to paint them so they're not bubbly. Yup, my toe paint was bubbly, which means they wouldn't have lasted long. Fourth, it's a very simple salon with massage chairs and I did kind of miss that "salon/spa/relax-in-bliss" feeling. This is really a "get your pedicure and get on with your life" kind of salon. The price for the pedicure is good though, so if it weren't for all the negatives, I would have been a happy barefoot camper. As far as the future goes, I'll be going elsewhere that gives me the full treatment. Oh, and as a side note, bathrooms are in an adjacent building. The ladies have to give you a key. read more

I had gone to this place for over a year and was quite satisfied with the work until I received gelish nails. I went on vacation and needed a manicure that lasted a while. They suggested gelish so, I splurged. I went back 4 weeks later to have just a regular manicure and pedicure. They removed my gelish with tinfoil, cotton and polish remover. When it was time to pay, my mani/pedi was more expensive then usual. I told her I didn't get any design and I think there was a mistake in pricing. She said, they charge $5 to remove the gelish. COMPLETE SURPRISE CHARGE - and much less, this was the gelish THEY had put on my nails several weeks prior!! I am not a fan of sneakiness and have not returned since. read more

Avoid this location if you can help it. I only started going to this location since it is in the same plaza where I take my kids to Ukulele. Since I had nothing better to do during this time I would hit this place up for pedicures. Although at first glance this place is not very clean looking and the employees speak very little English, I hadn't ever had any issues until now. A couple of weeks ago I popped in for a consultation. I had recently had a gel polish manicure while on the mainland and took the polish off myself. My nails broke in several places before I could get in for another anicure. I let the tech know that I have a lot of breakage and need to even them out but. She asks if I want regular or gel nail polish. I tell her that although I like gel polish, the acetone destroys my nails every time I change colors and that why my nails are a mess. She tells me she has a "special powder" she can put "under the polish" that will protect my nails. I have never heard of such a thing but figure maybe I am not up on the latest in nail technology. So, I consider it for a minute and figure I will go with it. She sits me down and starts digging through somethings behind her station and pulls out a clear pouch with a bottle and 2 powders. I got the impression by the set up of what was in the pouch that she didn't do this type of nails often. She pulls out two containers of powder, one white and one pink. She puts the white aside and opens the pink and shows me and says "see pink...I can only do pink...your nails will be pink - no color polish." I am confused but it is a glittery pink and isn't bad so I agree. Before I even know what she is doing she grabs my hand and grinds the surface of my pinky nail almost completely off with some hand held grinder. WTF! By now it's too late. I literally have no idea what she is doing. When I ask she says its so powder can stick to nail. This process HURT and I am still sitting there completely confused. It's not until she uses a brush with an applicator liquid and dips it into the powder to brush onto my nail that I understand what is happening. She is giving me gel nails....No, No, No! This is not at all what I wanted. Now not only has she destroyed my nails, I am committed to these nails that I had no idea what they cost and am committed to regular fills to maintain them. My nails would never be the same again. Not only that she didn't even give me a manicure! She put this stuff on without even cleaning up my cuticles or trimming my nails or anything. When she was done applying the nails she did file down them some. When all was said and done they look okay. The nails ended up a being really pretty sparkly pink color. I go to pay and am charged $45! What!?! I technically didn't even get a manicure...no lotion, no message, nothing! I was so pissed. She tells me that the nails will last 3 weeks before I need a fill. I am still mad but figure 3 weeks is not too bad. When I get out to car and inspect them further, they are not as nice as I thought. They are all different lengths, she didn't even file them evenly! They are a mess in some spots at the cuticles because she didn't bother to give me a manicure and trim them first. After only a week they look like total crap. It was painful to make it another week to stretch it to 2 weeks, they look terrible. There were areas where she went over the cutile which started breaking as soon as they started growing out. I go back exactly 2 weeks later on the same day and time that I went in the first time and the nail salon is closed! The sign on the door says 10 AM on Sunday but they have been consistently open at 9am every week. I wait for 30 minutes and they are still not open. By 10 AM they are still not open and after waiting several more minutes I completely give up. I will never return to this salon again. I wasn't sure if she deliberately lied to me about what she was going to do or if her English is that bad that she didn't know how to properly communicate what she was going to do. I went to a different nail salon to have them look at them to see what they could do. Since she never told me what type of nails she did I wasn't sure what I was going to be able to do. The nail tech took one look at them and was like WTF. She said she is surprised that they would put that type of nail these days because most women want color gel polish. She said she would guess that this salon did this to get me to only go back to their location. She ended up having to completely grind the entire gel nail off and start over again because there was no way to match the powder exactly. Not only that I had to pay for another full set of gel nails since they had to start from scratch. I wish I would have taken a picture of my nails before they were fixed so everyone could see how bad they were. Again do not ever come to this Le Nails if you can help it...save your money and go to a good, clean salon. read more

After having my tragic experiences with eyebrow waxing, I've been hunting down a place to go. I checked out some other places, cost more than here. So I said, why not? I gave it a shot based on a yelper here. So I went, saw Dana. I asked her if she could try and make it even- brows are uneven and not thin. She said she could try lol. Well the whole time I kept praying that this won't be another odd couple brows. It actually came out pretty good- I actually had brows, not thin and a little uniform. I can't expect a miracle but she made it look better than before. Now, there was a woman who came in while I was getting waxed and she specifically looked for Dana. So, I kinda felt relieved that it wasn't going to be bad. Dana took her time with me and I really appreciate that. I used to go see this person in waipahu- followed through the many salons he/she moved to. He/she did a really good job, but as time went on, when he/she rushed, it came out messed up- my left is now higher than my right and it comes out thin. Last time I went, I got a hair cut as well. He kept talking to his coworkers and I asked to make my brows thicker. This resulted in not having trimmed. My hair was cut too short! I told him it was too short than what I told to do. He told me don't worry it'll grow back. I never went back and it took so long for my hair to reach my shoulders. I paid $15 for waxing+ tip. Not worth it. I then tried threading, boy I wish I didn't go there. This lady made my eyebrows thin and the shape was ugly. I had my eyebrows grown before I went! I paid $18 plus more for lip. They said it looked good! That was the first and last time. Lesson learned: just because price is cheap doesn't mean they're not good. Also, they don't have strong fumes you can smell for a nail shop. This is a plus! It was still $8 for waxing which I'm supprised since it was an old review price as well. read more

The five star review on this place are probably fake. This is the WORST nail salon on the island. Beware and do not go here. The girl who did my nails first started shaving off my gel nails for a really long time and it seemed unnecessary to me. I also ended up having 3 fingers bleeding after she was done cutting and filling everything. I asked her repeatedly if we can skip the cuticle cutting part after she nicked me the second time and she gave me a blank look, refused and kept going. Her exact words after the third time were: "Oh sorry, your cuticles are just so thin that's why". Instead of the fact she kept digging deep under the sides of my nail to cut it for some reason and kept cutting my skin instead. I have never had such a horrible experience. But I let her keep going and finish, which I will never do again because now it's been a week later and my fingers are only just healing, but one of them started leaking pus from the side of my nail she cut me. It is now red and swollen and I probably have an infection. It's hard for me to even grab things with that finger because it hurts so much now! I think she cut the side of my nail so short that now its digging into my skin while it grows out and is causing an ingrown nail. Dont ever go to this place. Their cheap prices really do show with the quality of the nail technicians. Go to a more qualified and caring place, it isnt worth it. read more

Went here just because it was close to where I was at during that time. I have learned that I will stick to places that I know. I typically get a mani-pedi done every couple of weeks, and lately I have done gel-ish on my fingers just because it lasts so much longer. My only request is that my fingers and toes end up the same color, or at least close to it. I had chosen a pink shade for my toes, and asked if they had a matching gel color for my fingers. The guy that did my nails kept insisting that I do a fade. So my fingers came out half pink (not a fade at all), and my toes were a lighter shade of pink, and to attempt to get it to match, he kept on putting glitter on my toes. Ugh! read more

went here for the first time on Monday because I wanted to go somewhere other then my normal as I'm still trying to find my go to shop & ended up here, just by looking at the place I should have known not to expect anything spectacular. I did a pedicure & gel manicure & my eyebrows & well the eyebrows were ok but everything else was blah they dont have alot of gel colors available they have a big book but only have like less than half there & if I had to some up my interaction with the worker in one word I would have to say LAZY, I tell her what I want and she tells me she can only do so much I have never been somewhere that doesn't have nail polish remover out and ready well painting nails she would do the polish then use her nail to wipe excess off and it didnt look even at all I tell her my toe polosh is scrunched up on my big toe and she tries to just paint over it with a top coat and sees it doesn't do anything so she wipes it off and lets out a huge grunt cuz i guess shes frustrated lol I definitely wont go back read more

This is a nice nail salon. Always a good job done here. Never a long wait. Will be back soon.
