I popped in here with my cousins for a nail appointment. We all liked our nails. Staff were able to get us an appointment on short notice and we were all able to sit next to each other. I did wait for a bit but it was a Saturday and packed so I was expecting a little bit of a wait. Seemed very clean and the staff were definitely knowledgeable. I got a gel x set and I think they turned out really good. I'm actually two weeks into the set and they're growing out nicely.

My sister-in-law and I have been yearning for nail designs lately, so we switched it up from our "go-to" salon to Diamond Nails. They recently expanded their location, so it's been under construction as of late, but the new floor plan is HUGE! They now have an entirely separate area for bridal parties, and that is a really neat idea - having privacy on an important day so that the entire group can be together is really nice. One thing that I really enjoy about Diamond Nails is also a downside, which is that they can pretty much always get you in. Don't get me wrong, that is really great for people with busy schedules, but it also means that the place is always swamped. Good for the salon, bad if you're looking for a quieter, more relaxing experience. They always ask you if you want something to drink though, so a glass of wine to calm my nerves is wonderful for my social anxiety! The nail techs are extremely talented, and I always leave the salon feeling refreshed and beautiful. The designs that they can produce on a whim are pretty impressive. For my appointment last night, I had found a fun design on Pinterest and showed my nail tech, and she blew the design out of the water! Part of the expansion included adding a larger row of foot soaking tubs and relaxation chairs for pedicures, so I definitely plan on making an appointment again soon - my feet need it! Diamond Nails is fabulous, and overall love the experiences I have had there.

Not smooth.

Would not recommend. Dip nails done yesterday all have a wave look to them. $70 dip nails should look better.

My dip set 3.5 weeks later. Quality!

I've been coming to Diamond nails ever since they were one tiny salon. I've only ever received consistent, quality service. Dan and Lina remember me by voice and name, and treat every single customer as if they're family. Reservations are always suggested, but those lovely folks will fit you in the best that they can.

I've been a regular customer here for about a year and I love it. Super nice that you're offered a complimentary beverage with your service (water wine or soda). Catch a bit of a movie on one of their multiple tvs that are always playing in the background with the captions on. I specifically see Mishelle for my manicures and she always does a fantastic job, however when she's unavailable other staff have helped me and everyone who works here is great. They are efficient and will get you in and out which is great. I love supporting small businesses and the owners are also wonderful people.

This place is truly amazing. They work efficiently. They are kind and I've always gotten what I requested. The vibe is comfortable and friendly. I highly recommend.

I drive 20 minutes to Diamond Nails every 2 weeks for my shellac manicure. I've tried multiple places throughout Madison and this is hands down the best spot for manicures and pedicures. My nails never chip, service is always top notch. They just did a big remodel so the space is beautiful. Highly recommend. I've never had an issue getting in, but make an appointment before you go!

Gel mani

This is my 3rd time at Diamond Nails, and I have been so impressed every time! My nail tech Mindy went above and beyond with just a simple gel manicure and pedicure. Great attention to detail, lengthy massage and scrub included in the pedicure, and both nail colors I chose were tested on a nail first to make sure I was happy with the color. Mindy was finished with my manicure, but wanted to get the shape perfect and went back in with more gel to correct any imperfections (I saw none). Total collectively for a gel manicure and pedicure was only $70, and they serve WINE! A super relaxing experience, and I can't wait to go again!

Red French tips

It was very nice she cut my finger had a very nice vibe . Was 80$ pretty expensive but overall recommend .

I'm no hand model, but my nails are the exact shape & length I wanted, & they last!

I have been going to Diamond Nails for years and they do an excellent job all around. Make an appointment, & get top notch service when you are there. They do their best to meet the needs of all requests. I have had multiple different nail techs and they all do an great job. I would highly recommend Diamond Nails for all different occasions!

Dip nails

They are very good you just need to get the right person. They are kind of hard to understand but are very patient if we don't understand. I recommend this place a ton.

Honestly, I had such a good experience! I got a gel manicure, with some designs and they were really accommodating! We were running late, so they helped us schedule a later appt, and did really good with the inspo pic. Total came to $58 dollars which is reasonable. She was really gentle with the nail file, and always double checked whether I like color, or design. It's busy, so I would recommend booking an appt. Excited to come next time!

Horrible Christmas design

This place is SOOOOOOOOOO unclean. They can do about 30 manicures at a time and around 15 pedicures. They speak over the loud system so everyone can hear who is next in line. They offer water or wine but the place is so unhygienic. If you want a dip extension they don't even give you a regular manicure first. They don't take care of your hands at all. They don't get rid of hang nails. They don't clean under the nails. No massage or lotion. They don't push the cuticles back. Just a horrible experience.

EXCELLENT, After a…read more2 month search, I have found my new nail shop throughout the endurance of my stay here in Madison. From the initial phone call to make my appointment, Kat, the owner, was welcoming and warming. On the day of my appointment, I was greeted immediately and placed in the chair, and Amanda performed the best pedicure I have received since arriving in this state. Thank you Jesus! Kat even went above and beyond to refill a toe that had been accidentally shattered and needed repair. I am so appreciative of the services performed and all the welcoming I received. This place is definitely a gem in the Roux, and not to be overlooked...great job ladies, and thank you so much for taking pride in great customer service.

There was also a private room for lashes and waxing, and two bathrooms. Kat (the owner), along with her staff, were extremely accommodating. She let us set up a small table with treats and goodies, and also offered beverages (wines and water) during their services. I don't get my nails done too often, but this stood out to me. A set of set of sealed and sterile tools were pulled out and used each time. From what I recall, most technicians place their tools in bin or glass with water, and do a quick rinse or microwave before using them. The tools here definitely seem more reassuring! And seems more efficient. Kat was also very knowledgeable and openly shared info when asked. Overall, we had a great time here! The only reason I subtracted a star was because my classic mani/pedi is already chipping and it's only been a couple days! This was probably my fault for not choosing shellac or dip--but I'm definitely going back for a French Ombré!

Let me tell you about my wild adventure at this so-called "bougie" salon. Buckle up; it's quite a…read moreride! So, I had a 3:00 p.m. appointment on June 20th. First, they asked for my credit card info just to have on file. Not sure if they do that to everyone or if I looked extra suspicious, but who feels comfortable with their card details floating around some random salon? Not me. Anyway, I arrived, and they shoved a notepad in my face, making me read and sign a waiver at lightning speed. A waiver for a salon visit? This place was already giving me "sign away your firstborn" vibes. The kicker? If I sued them over COVID-19, I'd have to cover their legal fees too! Just a heads-up: read before you sign anything here. Despite their "Bougie" facade, there was nothing upscale about this joint. The dress code, at least for my tech, was highly questionable. She wore a dirty old bra with a worn-out tank top and shorts so short they constantly migrated to her crotch. I asked for a "professional" tech and was assured mine was top-notch. Professional? Not in this universe. When we got down to business, I asked for almond-shaped nails, but we settled on round since my nails were too short. The polish removal process was a marathon--30 minutes!--and then she started trimming my nails without looking, slicing into the skin beneath them. Ouch! I yanked my hand back, not keen on sacrificing my fingers today. She just stared blankly at me. Fabulous. Filing my nails was like watching a toddler color outside the lines. Then, she dropped the bomb: two of my nails would be square-shaped. Excuse me? I said no, but she insisted. So, I borrowed the nail file and demonstrated that round nails were indeed possible. Without a word, she walked off to another tech and complained. Cue the drama! The "master nail tech" stormed over, shouting, "Hey, hey, hey!" (That's not my name, by the way). She launched into a tirade about how clients don't file their own nails. Felt like I was back in kindergarten getting scolded by the teacher. Finally, I asked her to trim my cuticles. Instead of using a softener or water, she just yanked at them dry. It was like watching someone prune a cactus with their bare hands. I asked if they ever used a softener, and she bluntly replied, "No." Charming. As I complimented her nail art (because why not try to be nice?), my manicure wrapped up, and I was left alone waiting for my pedicure. That's when the salon manager approached me and said my nail tech didn't feel comfortable continuing and that I needed to leave. Shocked but not one to make a scene, I prepared to pay for my crappy manicure. As I took out my credit card, the salon owner suddenly got hostile and threatened to call the police if I didn't leave immediately. WHAT?! I was just trying to pay! She stormed outside, so I followed, phone in hand, ready to record. They charged me $4 extra for the nail polish remover, likely because I was a "special" white Ukrainian with a heavy accent. As the owner ranted about a "language barrier," I couldn't help but laugh at the absurdity. Outside, as I recorded on my phone, the owner bizarrely wanted me to take some other client's used water bottle and claimed I had a language barrier. Lady, I understood everything perfectly: you overcharged me, refused me service, and acted like I was the problem. Newsflash: it's you and your "bougie" salon with anger issues. By the way, it turns out I'm not the only one who's had a run-in with this place. According to Google reviews, being booted out seems to be their favorite sport, right up there with charging extra and providing subpar services. So, to anyone considering a visit to this "Bougie" salon, beware! You might find yourself signing away your legal rights, dealing with a tech in a dirty old bra, and being yelled at by someone who thinks "Hey, hey, hey" is your name. And if you're really lucky, you might even get kicked out and overcharged, just like me. Cheers to finding a new salon where the only surprises are the ones you actually want.

I wait for about 25 minutes on the massaging chair with my feet dipped in the water. The water was nice and warm, but after time went by, it got a bit cool. Or maybe my feet got used to the temperature and needed more warm water. Mary work on my pedicure. I got the Luxury Pedicure. She scrubbed the shit out my feet! To be real transparent, I had some dry callous that I wanted to get rid of (why I came in the first place) so I loved that she took her time and irked on my callous. Mary did an amazing job at removing my the callous. She used a foot shredder-looking tool and some callous softener. It was real nice. She used like 2-3 different oil and lotion to massage my feet and calves. I remember one of them was purple and it smelled very good. The Luxury Pedicure also came with hot stone massage. Hot stone massage was okay, until Mary used the warm rock and pushed it against the bottom of my feet-- it felt so nice and I had to tell her that it felt very good right then and there. After this, the service was followed by hot towel wrap on each claves and bagged wax for each foot. Mary went to work with another client who walked-in wanting to do their nails. The wait was quite long and I started to begin to feel unattended. The hot towels were now cold and I was starting to get cold because I had wet towels wrapped on each claves. Probably 15-20 minutes later, Mary came back. She was apologetic and thankful that I was waiting. I didn't mind, but it did got to me a little. I was getting cold and wanted my pedicure to be done already. She came to give me some more massages with oils and lotions. We chatted and it was cool. I felt pretty relaxed and cared for during the service, the wait in between was a bit too long & threw my mood off. If you're in a rush or have things planned for the day, I'd say schedule an appointment or just be aware that on a Sunday, there may only be two people working and service may take longer than usual. There is a $1 charge if you use card. Bring cash if you want to avoid that. I don't know if there are additional charges if you want gel polish, etc. I didn't get any polish with mines, just my preference. My total was $61. Overall, I had a good experience and I would come back here again.

They have a wide range of dip colors to choose from (pictured here are two separate dip manicures I had done at Nail Couture when my natural nails were at different lengths). One thing I appreciate in particular about the techs at Nail Couture is their ability to thin out the dip -- at other salons I've visited in the past, I've received really thick/uneven dip manicures. At least for me, thick dip manicures look increasingly ridiculous as they grow out, so I'm appreciative that I've never had a dip manicure that was applied too thick/unevenly here. The techs are quick yet careful in the filing/shaping of your nails and in the application of the dip powder. Special shoutout to Sam for the light pink manicure in the photos I posted here--she did an excellent job, and I plan to schedule with her specifically in the future. Walk-ins are welcomed here, and I've never been turned away walking in (despite the fact that they always look busy). They also have a really relaxing pedicure room in the back that is decorated nicely. Though I've visited multiple nail salons in the Madison/Middleton/Verona area, this is always the one I come back to and will continue to come back to.
